Wonderful outdoor deck space to enjoy the views.

Our family loved this house! It had the best views of the lake and in front of the house it had beautiful views of the ski lift. Unfortunately Diamond Peak was closed by the time we were there but this house is very close to it which is nice if you are there to ski/ snowboard. We opted to eat at the home rather then the nice restaurant down the street because we were knew our view was better! Master bedroom was dreamy. No complaints- we even extended another night!

We loved this house. The views were amazing, all the comforts of home and very convenient for skiing at Diamond Peak.

This house was pretty awesome. Incredible views from all 3 floors. Bright spacious home with lots of room for the 4 of us and our dog to relax and enjoy our time up in Tahoe. The home seemed very welcoming. The garage is a bit tight for 2 cars, we ended up having to parallel park our daughter's car in front of the garage since she joined us from Reno. Not much of a driveway, in fact, no driveway. The kitchen was large and open with lots of counter space which made it great for cooking the turkey and anything else we had during our stay. Our kids had the area downstairs and my wife and I had the large master bedroom upstairs. One big frustration, that I really wasn't aware of until after a couple of days of staying there, was that there is no place to empty the trash. You have to haul it a little over a mile to these dumpsters. Which means putting the trash bags in the back of your car. Make sure the bags aren't leaking, it could be a mess. This is an HOA thing, so it's not a negative towards the home, but it is an inconvenience which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. A couple of other things, the TVs are a bit of a challenge to operate, We weren't able to view any live TV. They provide ROKU on all the TV's but it's a little odd the way it is set up and the remotes are not typical ROKU remotes. Also, we had an issue with the washing machine, and I have to say Vacasa was on top of it and the technician came out to fix it on Thanksgiving Day, which was fantastic. Also, the home is located at the top of the mountain off of Ski Way past Diamond Peak. It's about 2 miles of windy road to get there. But as I mentioned before, the views from all the balconies are beautiful.
Overall, the home is very nice and we may choose to stay there again. This is the 2nd time we've chosen Vacasa to rent a home during Thanksgiving and both times we have absolutely loved it.

Thanks, Vacasa

Our family of 6 stayed here and it was very roomy and wet especially appreciated the large kitchen and having a TV in every room. The only negative was that the landlord didn't provide a punch pass so we could use the private beaches in Incline Villages like most rental homes do.
Manager response:
Hello Eric, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay, and hope to host you again soon!

The photos don’t do this place justice. It is highly recommended.

This cabin is even better than the pictures depict it. It was very clean, functional, comfortable and beautiful. And you can’t beat that view, soo amazing!

Beautiful & spacious home with stunning views! The only complaint I have is that the hot water lasted for a couple of minutes before it gets freezing cold.. our group had to shower very quickly. Despite that, the home & location was beautiful.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Mitesh! We are delighted to hear that the home was the right size for your group and that you were able to relax and enjoy the views. We are sorry to hear that the hot water ran out quickly. Please know that this information has been forwarded to the local manager so they can work to address the issue. We appreciate your feedback and we look forward to hosting you for another great stay in the future!

The pictures honestly don’t do it justice. Fantastic home and views. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the "Diamond Peak Nest." There was plenty of living- and play-space for our party of seven. Everything is neat and well cared-for. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with nice, new appliances. The neighbors are friendly; the neighborhood is quiet and close to the village and east shore. There are great lake views from the three decks - especially at sunset. Our dog had some trouble with the stairs so if your pup is a bit older, you'll want to put up some barricades.

This home truly is great and we hate to leave a bad review. However, we paid premium prices for 4th of July weekend and the cleanliness of the home is the reason for 2 stars. We understand many cabins in tahoe right now have moth issues. However, two moths were killed on the kitchen back splash and never cleaned. After reading and reaching out to Vacasa to ensure the moth issue would be resolved or cleaned from the 6/20 public review, our expectations were it would. Vacasa customer care never responded to our proactive outreach.

Moths leave a yellow goo when killed and their remains were still stuck on the back splash left of the stove. For a cleaning crew to not notice makes it hard to believe they cleaned anything at all.

At the prices paid and the fees we incurred by Vacasa to rent this home - we advise one to be warry to rent until the home is deep cleaned and the moths are gone entirely. You'll be able to tell if the cleaning crew took appropriate measures by looking at the light fixture above the dining room table. The light fixture is filled with moths.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Marisa. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our home. We are working closely with our housekeeping team to ensure that they are paying close attention to detail while preparing for guests and following the current COVID-19 cleaning protocols. However, we would like to apologize for the missed area. Thank you for bringing it to our attention, we have refunded you for the inconvenience. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

There are many positives about this house - stunning views of the lake, nice kitchen, strong water pressure in the showers, comfy furnishings. Unfortunately, the house is completely infested with moths. Apparently this is a broader problem in the Nevada area, but at night, there are probably 50-100 moths flying around the house. You cannot keep the lights on or they will congregate in mass. I wish I could say that I would stay here again (and I would if it weren’t for the pests). For how much this house costs, I expected more and better service from Vacasa when I told them about the problem. All I got was a polite “this is a problem in the area and there’s not much we can do.” Do yourself a favor and avoid this house at all costs.
Manager response:
Hi, Yousaf! We are so sorry to read you were unhappy with your accommodations. The moths were an event of nature that was out of our control despite our best attempts to keep them out of the house. We do hope to see you again!
Amy F. Jun 2020
We arrived to literally 1000-2000 dead and living moths that had hatched in the house. They were everywhere, even inside the refrigerator. Four of us cleaned for over 90 minutes upon our arrival. I was put on hold for two hours to talk to someone. The management refunded our cleaning fee, nothing else was done to make us happy with the horrible situation. We spent our entire time dealing with the moths. Every night, 50-60 new moths come out. It became our game to get as many out as possible so they would not fly onto you during sleep (which happened several times.) The house had obviously not been cleaned prior to our arrival as promised. The surfaces were all dusty, there were bags of garbage in the garage and a bunch of towels to fold in the dryer. The house itself was very nice, however totally ruined by the moths and the lack of customer service we received.
Manager response:
Hi Amy, thank you for your review. We're so sorry for the issues you experienced during your stay, and for communicating with our team. This home is on a routine pest control treatment plan, and our local team has scheduled additional treatments. We apologize for not assisting you quickly over the phone; our team was heavily impacted by COVID-19 outreach and we experienced record numbers of phone calls and emails. We have added additional staff so we can once again offer our stellar customer service to all of our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to host you, in the future, for a much more enjoyable st

This house was fantastic! From the amazing views of the mountains & Lake Tahoe to the fully stocked kitchen overlooking the table that seats 8. I can’t wait to come back!
Erin M. Apr 2020
The house is spacious and well taken of. The have tons of amenities. Beautiful views from multiple balcony.
Jack D. Mar 2020
Beautiful house with great views of Lake Tahoe and the ski slopes. Great location and close to Diamond Peak and town.
Mathew B. Jan 2020
Tucked away behind Diamond Peak, great views of the lake and very convenient for the resort.
House is modern and well appointed and was spotless.
Master bedroom suite is amazing and very comfy bed.
3 stories and open wooden staircase so if you have little ones or struggle with stairs just be aware.

If it's snowing or icy, the road up to the house is fairly steep so would expect chains and/or 4WD needed.

Overall, loved the house - would definitely book again.

We booked this at the last minute and it did not disappoint! Can't wait to rent this property again!
