The house is absolutely beautiful!! 10/10. However, communicating with vacasa was quite frustrating. They couldn't tell me until the day before we left if we could do early check in or late check out. Coming from out of town, this was frustrating because we were buying flights. Additionally, they clean the pool on Wednesdays and Saturdays which they did not tell us. Someone came to the house Saturday morning without our knowledge and we couldn't use the pool for 4 hours during the day on Saturday. They also didn't give us the code to get into the house. I had to reach out to them two hours after check in time to receive it. Also, they only provide two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom so make sure to bring some extra if you're staying for more than a day or two. But- the house was beautiful and clean and the view/location is really unbeatable. I would still recommend the stay here. We loved our time!

We, unfortunately, can't confirm the option to have an early check-in or late check-out until the day before arrival and the day before check-out respectively. This is because if we receive a last-minute booking we would need to have ample time for our housekeeping teams to clean and prepare the home for our next guests who are checking in at 4 pm. Some homes also require extra cleaning or rest days. Access codes are sent automatically the morning of the check-in day but, in some cases depending on the privacy settings of your email, the check-in instructions can end up in your spam or promotions folder. Our 24/7 customer service line is always available to assist our guests with any questions or issues they may have during their stay. The exterior structure of this home is in very poor condition:
rotted holes in the soffits and window frames, porch railings and outdoor shower slats falling off, trim paint worn off down to the wood, and broken seals in most windows and sliders, leaving them foggy or filled with moisture. The interior also needs a lot of TLC: Kitchen cabinets need to be painted, along with stairway and hallways; the dishwasher and most faucets need to be replaced, and the ceiling fans need to be replaced, or at the very least, thoroughly cleaned! This property has potential, but the owner needs to spend $$$$$ to bring it up to par.

Stayed for a week in April, 2021.

We arrived and picked up our welcome package after hours... No key, no lock box for a key, nothing.. Luckily the back door was unlocked.. Got the key the next day.. The pool was not heated when we got there, and while they did refund us the money and still sent someone to heat the pool.. it stopped working after 3 days there..

Place was alright in regards to being cleaned.. And we understand its on a beach but it seemed the windows are never cleaned.. Also one of the lamps had gum on it..

Some of the sliding doors are very hard to option.. In the master bedroom both of the sliding door handles are broken. There is a trash compactor from the 80s that is falling out of the cabinets. You can clearly see they replaced the refrigerator with a smaller version because of the board lazily bolted in above it to fill a cap. None of the outdoor lights worked, they were all tipped over and looked very old. Bathroom knob fell off in the master. And the entire house inside and out needs a coat of paint..

Honestly, we enjoyed our experience.. Mainly because of the weather, Isle and Charleston; But we get the vibe the house is owned by someone who just wants to make some money and put as little capital into the property as possible.. Its evident when you walk down the street and its literally the 2nd worst property on the Isle... The 1st being an abandoned house down the street..

We had a great time and this house is great! The location on the beach, the pool, and the area of Isle of Palms were fantastic. And the owners were very easy to communicate with.

The house fits a good amount of guests, the pool, beach, and location are excellent. There are small restaurants and bars within a close walking distance. The only reason that I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because we noticed a lot of bugs all over the ceilings and in the corners as if the house hadn't been cleaned very well. But other than that, check out and check in are easy. Overall great experience.

The location of this large beach home is incredible with the ocean at your back doorstep!
However the front entrance steps need replaced and a few other updates could be had.
Also there’s an ant issue that needs addressed.
But plenty of space in the 6 bedroom house!

1 star for property condition.. 1.5 stars for cleanliness.. house is not set up for families. Bare minimum of cleaning is done. Front steps are a hazard.. would not book again..

This house has a great location and beach access. With that being said, it needs so much work as a prior review indicated. A door handle fell off prior to our arrival and maintenance came to look at it but was never back to repair it. The house needs a deep clean (the cobwebs behind the door in the bedroom still exist). We had constant ants in the kitchen and saw 2 cockroaches. The bunk beds are extremely squeaky. Tiles are missing from the pool. Bathroom showers have mold. For the money they are charging, you can get a much cleaner and well maintained property on the beach. I would not recommend and we will not be back to this house.

The location and the view were wonderful. But so much work needs to be done inside and outside. It is not newly renovated as stated on the VRBO website . The entire place needed to be painted. So much rust and rot on the outside of the house that it was disgusting. Paint was chipping on the cabinets in the kitchen. There water marks down the wall in the upstairs bathroom. Two places in the house had holes in the sheet rock. They were cracks all over the deck around the pool. There were cobwebs in the corner behind the master bedroom door. They were extra pillows but no extra pillowcases. Beer cans and cigarettes bits were in the landscaping at the pool area.
Kitchen was sparsely equipt.. Plenty of plates and bowls and water glasses. However please note that there were only three small wine glasses.
I do not recommend this house for the amount of money they are asking.

Booking, check-in and check-out was efficient and great customer-focused agents. Erratic temperature control in house- some rooms stayed warm, others were arctic. New walkway to beach and some new living room furniture was nice. As advertised, house in need of some maintenance attention. One of the TV's didn;t work and was reported. Told we needed to get a cable box for that TV and that the cable company would come out on Monday to fix. No one came the whole week to fix. Also believe the dispenser part of the refrigerator ice maker is broken.

Souma wasn't the easiest to communicate with verbally, but she did a great job of staying on top of our vacation. She kept up regular email correspondence regarding housing and pricing and the houses worked out exactly as represented, clean, and well maintained.
