The place was clean and has serene views. The beds were comfy, although there is only 1 twin bed, not 2 as described. The single twin bed was located on the lower level adjacent to the washer/dryer, not the most ideal spot as it was pretty musty and the stairs were quite narrow getting down. The kitchen had everything we needed for our light cooking. Overall, it was a nice landing pad for our group as we explored the island.
Manager response:
Hi, Haley! We appreciate your feedback and have placed moisture absorbers in the home to help with the musty smell. Thank you!
Stacey S. Aug 2022
The house was cute, quirky, clean and got us out of the heat of central WA for a few days. The fees associated with the rental made it a LOT more expensive than the listed nightly price. 😕
Noelle H. Dec 2021
Awesome spot for your adventures around Whidbey Island.
Noelle H. Nov 2021
Cozy, well appointed and conveniently located. My daughter and I had an absolutely amazing stay.
Erich W. Aug 2021
It was very quiet with partial views of the sound and not far from public beach access.
Theresa B. Jul 2021
This was a wonderful stay.
Kathy T. Apr 2021
Lovely, cabin. Very quiet and peaceful.
Noah T. Mar 2021
Fun place! Beach was a short walk, and the actual unit was clean and tidy. Nice to have the spices/kitchen essentials in the pantry. The staircase leading to the bottom floor is comically small but didn’t cause us any problems. Overall a great stay!
Brittany C. Aug 2020
Very cute mid-century modern A frame with peekaboo views of the water. It was a good home base for all our Whidbey adventures during our week-long stay. Very large deck and comfy beds. Quiet residential road, peaceful setting. The house was not without its quirks though. The kitchen could use some updating but all appliances were functional. No dishwasher. The two staircases were very narrow, the one to the basement so much so that I had to bring my shoulders inward and my arms slightly in front of me to get up and down. The deck was nice but we weren’t able to make as much use of it as we would like due to only one small sectional type outdoor sofa. We couldn’t get the gas grill to heat up after it was lit. If you are picky about your pillows I would definitely suggest bringing your own because the supplied ones were very fluffy but went almost completely flat once resting on them. The inside seating could use some improvement too. The chairs near the back deck are super cute and stylish but another sofa or loveseat would be much more comfy. I would like to add that the lens used to photograph the inside makes the space look larger than it is, and I really don’t mean to sound like I’m ripping the place apart. It was clean and cozy and a good little place for our stay. I’m just mainly trying to bring attention to some things that different travelers might find important. I would stay there again.
Manager response:
Brittany, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local manager who will work with the homeowner to make any upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!

Loved the quiet nights. Enjoyed seeing birds and wildlife in the yard.

This cabin was a very relaxing place to be. The decor is great, the bathroom is clean & cute, and the balcony has a peekaboo view of the water. Definitely will return!

Our family of 4 (including 2 kids unger 9) enjoyed our time at pirate's landing. It was plenty of space for a variety of activities and the location was great, close to the beach and other access roads to get around the island. The view was serene with peekaboo of the water
and we saw deer, an owl and plenty of happy birds each morning. Cute mid-century decor and very comfy beds! Would visit again!
Natassja . Jan 2020
Great cabin and beautiful view!

Noelle’s adorable A frame home was the absolute perfect Airbnb. We really enjoyed our time and just wished we could stay longer. Cannot wait to come back, and would recommend to anyone!

We couldn't have found a more quaint, cute, and perfect cabin for a girls getaway! The cabin was super stylish, easy to find, with an adequate kitchen and close to town!

A fun cabin. Good location and it worked well for our large family.

Austin . Aug 2019
This was great . The whole family enjoyed it.
Caitlin . Aug 2019
We loved staying at Noelle's house. It is in a fantastic location on a quiet road near the water. The house feels spacious and has a great deck to hang out on and read a book while you watch the sunset. She has done a great job furnishing it and making it comfortable. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice getaway on Whidbey!
Margit . Jul 2019
10/10, would recommend. We loved staying at Noelle’s cabin! If you appreciate mid-century design you will love this place, the decor is v cute. There were only two of us but this would be a great place to come with a group. Check-in was effortless and Noelle was super quick to respond to any questions we had. She had some great recs for places to visit on the island, and Prima Bistro and Coffee in the Woods did not disappoint! If you are looking for seclusion, this might not be the cabin for you because it’s very close to the neighbors. It’s also not super walkable as the connecting roads are pretty busy. We would definitely come back to this comfortable and adorable cabin.
Valerie . Jul 2019
Loved the fun/funky space of this A frame & bonus room with half bath above the garage. It was perfect for our needs - we were on island for a family reunion & held an informal breakfast for about 25 in the living/dining/deck space. Will keep Noelle’s place in mind for future trips.
Amber . Jul 2019
This place was clean, very conveniently located and an easy in/out. We loved it. Thanks Noelle!!
Sara . Jul 2019
Unfortunately the price for cleaning fee and other fees doubled the price of the property, that was pretty ridiculous. As for the stay, the property was wonderful, quiet, and so cute. We came back to some deer in the yard one day and that was fun. The decore inside the cabin was so simple and looked great. Would stay again.
Caroline . Jun 2019
Noelle is a fantastic communicator. She was available within minutes to answer questions before and during our stay. The home is pretty neat with lots of nostalgic architectural features to enjoy. Kids loved the yard and played in the Pirates Hideaway most of the weekend. House had the basics to make our long weekend budget-friendly as we cooked all our food at the house. Great location too - Payless grocery store and Whidbey Coffee drive-up stand is ~5 min away.
Jill . Jun 2019
We had a nice time visiting family on Whidbey island and Noelle’s place was very comfortable. She was a great host and answered all our questions.
Lori . Jun 2019
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin. It’s tucked away off a beautiful private road. It’s quite old, and has fixtures and furniture that appear to be from the 60’s. Very cool place. We will definitely stay there again if we ever get to go back to Whidbey Island.
Caewyn . May 2019
Great place! We were two families with small children/babies. Everything was clean and we appreciated the children's touches such as highchair/pNp/small dishes. We all fit comfortably and Noelle's communication was excellent. We had a really fun time just hanging at the cabin and exploring the island community!
Heather . May 2019
Noelle was a wonderful host, and her cabin is charming. The view from the second-story back deck shows glimpses of Mutiny Bay and its beach—a lovely surprise we weren't expecting. As others have mentioned, the kitchen and bathroom are in need of an update—if you're over 5'5', be prepared to stoop beneath the shwoerhead. But the home's midcentury style and decor were lovely, and we enjoyed our stay.
Rachel . May 2019
Traveled here with three girlfriends and 6 kids under the age of three between the four of us adults! It was a pretty ideal space for our group. Although there are some hazards for really young toddlers just getting on the move (ie steep staircase) there are definitely ways to mitigate them, and the outdoor space was amazing for them too! We particularly loved the huge deck right off the living room (contained space!) and also the adorable front and backyard. It was great to have four full bedrooms as well. We loved the mid century decor and the fully equipped kitchen. All in all, a perfect getaway!
Kayla . Apr 2019
Noelle’s cabin was just what we needed for a weekend getaway. It’s so stylish with all of the charming mid century decor. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of essentials. We would absolutely recommend staying here!
Alex . Apr 2019
Really cute house - and large for an A frame. A lot of vintage charm and well kept up. The windows and view towards the ocean are very relaxing. Loved the sound of rain falling on the roof. Location is great- right between the beach and town for easy access. Would love to stay again.
Dani . Apr 2019
This was a lovely location. Perfect spot for an island get away. The house was very clean and restful. The decor was perfect! We would definitely come back!
Kari . Apr 2019
We had such a lovely week. The house is warm and furnished with basic kitchen needs. We hiked and ate our way across the island on Noelle’s suggestions. It was the perfect home base to retire to and watch the sun set.
Fred . Mar 2019
Nice cozy spot, good location, excellent host and good communications
Dani . Mar 2019
Noelle's place is a charming little escape off the beaten path. The kitchen and bathroom are in need of updating, but it's tolerable. I would take caution of the shower if you are a larger/taller person - - it's teeny! She provides great recommendations for the island and the peekaboo views of the water are beautiful. The porch and yard are great for pets or spending time outside enjoying good weather.
Lisa and Mark . Mar 2019
We enjoyed this cozy cabin and loved the fun decor. Noelle was responsive to all our questions and the location is great. We especially loved the off leash dog park!
Austin . Feb 2019
We enjoyed a really relaxing weekend at Noelle's house. The space is comfortable and very pleasant to be in. The house is also in a nice location for exploring different parks, hikes, and towns around the island. Noelle's communication, check in instructions, and recommendations were great. Hope to come back someday - highly recommended!
Kate . Feb 2019
You will love this cozy cabin! Great midcentury interior that easily accommodated 8 people. We’ll definitely try to come back next year.
Erica . Jan 2019
Beautiful home with stylish decor. Spent a weekend here with 6 adults comfortably cooking lots of food and playing board games. Smart tv and Bluetooth speakers made for easy entertainment and Noelle was very kind to share lots of knowledge about the area, as well as kept great communication. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Evelyn . Jan 2019
Cozy space, great view/location, easy booking and great communication. Would definitely love to stay here again.
New . Jan 2019
Noelle is an amazing host and the space is beautiful! The view and nearby beach were fabulous. Noelle is great communicator and was thoughtful and responsive when we had additional questions. Her suggestions around town were great and it was wonderful to explore. I definitely recommend staying here!
Shannon . Jan 2019
Noelle's space is lovely and she is an excellent communicator! We were there during a bit of a freak wind storm, and unfortunately the power for the water pump in the community went out. As I was reaching out to Noelle to let her know, she had already sent me a message checking in, as she'd heard from the power company that the power was out. I was impressed by how quickly everything got back up and running. (We just went back to bed for an hour, no problem!) The space is really cute and comfortable, we had a great time playing games at the table, and cooking together. Beds were comfortable. Heads up about the downstairs bedroom: it is down an extremely narrow/short staircase that was a little uncomfortable for our mostly over 6ft group. The extra bedroom nextdoor was much more comfortable. Thanks to Noelle for a great vacation stay!
Katie . Dec 2018
Our stay was lovely! Very cute cabin, & everything you could possibly need was provided. The beds were really nice and comfy, we all slept so well! Would definitely stay here again.
Sarah . Dec 2018
We had a nice month long stay at the cabin, which is nestled in a woodsy spot in a comfortable and quiet location on the island. The cabin itself is stylish and well maintained and we enjoyed cozy nights by the fire. It was a little tough with small kids just due to having one tiny shower and a lot of narrow staircases, but the kids had fun with the setup and we made it work just fine. We also appreciated the pirate’s cave out back!
Sara . Oct 2018
Cozy and comfy! We had an amazing time at your place. The kids loved the pirate’s den and the outside. It was so cozy but big enough for all of us to eat and enjoy ourselves.
David . Oct 2018
What a great weekend getaway from Seattle. The cabin has a cool, cozy mid-century vibe. It’s a quick ride to the beach and Freeland restaurants. We’d love to stay again.
Niz . Sep 2018
Lovely place for a relaxing getaway in a very quiet location. This place is great value for money. Clean and very comfortable. Just note that there is no bathtub, only one shower, though this was not a problem for 6 adults. the fourth bedroom is separate from the house above the garage but very close by. You can find anything you need at the local grocery store called Payless Foods, which is as good as a Whole Foods and as large. Noelle was a great communicator and provided us with welcome directions and tips.
Bevin . Sep 2018
My family stayed here to attend a wedding on the island. It was a perfect little base camp for our needs.
Kelsey . Sep 2018
Noelle was such a great host! She responded within ten to twenty minutes with any questions I had. We walked from the cabin to the beach (15 min. Walk) with our little girls and they loved collecting all the seashells and playing in the sand!
Bailee . Sep 2018
Noelle’s home is so modern and stylish! It was clean, inviting, and cozy. She is quick to respond and gave great tips and recommendations for our stay on the island. We would definitely stay again!
Mary . Sep 2018
We had a great time. It was close to our favorite beach on Whidbey.
Dave . Aug 2018
Excellent spot, close to stores/shops/food, was able to accommodate my whole family, Noelle was a great host.
Eleanor . Aug 2018
Noelle’s home is a dream! A perfect little weekend cabin where you can relax in style. She had everything there (even things we didn’t know we needed until we did like a kitchen knife sharpener and extra blankets) and the house itself was just a 15 min walk from the beach. Noelle was wonderful, accommodating, detailed and quick in her communication with us and even provided a wonderful list of local things to do/eat (a perfect agenda for first time Whidbey Islanders like my family). It really made our weekend getaway perfect. Can’t wait to come again!
Daniel . Aug 2018
Noelle’s place is great spot if you’re looking to spend time on Whidbey Island. Her place is close to the beach and to the town of Freeland. It’s a great place for a home base as your explore the island. Noelle was quick to respond to our questions and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend her cabin!
Sylvia . Aug 2018
Noelle’s place is terrific! It is stylish and comfortable, and extremely quiet. If you’re traveling with friends or a family, it is also quite spacious. My husband and I loved that it was dog friendly too. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Melanie . Aug 2018
Stylish and tasteful home with nice decor and furnishings! My friends and I loved staying here. Plenty of basics and amenities. Noelle was quick to respond to my questions and requests. Would love to stay here again.
Julie . Aug 2018
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood not far away from a sandy beach, something which isn't always easy to find in the PNW, as well as Freeland. For the price you get a great deal of space that is also nicely decorated. My daughter loved playing in the two outer buildings and garden.
Cam . Aug 2018
Well maintained cabin near Mutiny Bay with lots of room for our family. We enjoyed the privacy of being back from the main road, just slightly in the woods (saw deer everyday!) but still able to see the ocean. Be sure to check out Double Bluff beach if you go.
Bohdana . Jul 2018
Great place to stay and relax for several days.
Dani . Jul 2018
My family enjoyed our stay at Noelle's place immensely. The house had everything we needed and was so stylish. Noelle is a lovely host and was so communicative and easy to work with. Check-in was a breeze and she even sent us local recommendations. The house was ideally located, peaceful and so comfortable. We highly recommend Noelle and her home.
Jenny . Jul 2018
This is a great space in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Great house for a family to stay in. Close to a lot of things. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this space if you are looking to unwind and relax!
tina . Jun 2018
Noelle was a great host and extremely responsive leading up to our stay! She sent us a great list of local recommendations as well which was helpful for our visit. Her home is stylish and spacious with all the amenities you need for a getaway weekend.
Amanda . Jun 2018
Noelle's place is a gem! Beautiful location, nice views and very serene. The house is well maintained, adorably decorated and clean. It was more spacious than I expected. What a great stay!
Jens . Jun 2018
Noelle's place is stylish and comfortable. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, from the beaches during the day to staring up at the starry night! Highly recommended!
Laura . Jun 2018
Noelle's place is such a perfect escape! We have lived in AirBnbs all over the world and are always way impressed with certain things that people go above and beyond with-- comfy beds, good sheets, a well stocked kitchen-- and the house is all ready for a perfect weekend getaway. It's a short walk to the most beautiful beach sunset at Mutiny Bay, super close to the amenities in Freeland while still being private and semi secluded, and really feels like a lot of heart and energy have been put into making it a comfortable and beautiful space. We loved it here and can't wait to go back!
Julie . Jun 2018
This is a lovely, unique house. There was plenty of sleeping space for 6 people (3 adults, 3 children). It would even have comfortably slept 7 people as we had originally planned. The hostess thoughtfully provided bathroom basics like shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc, necessities that I didn't pack in my carry on luggage! There is a large deck from which you catch a glimpse of the water. The deck is perfect for early morning coffee drinking. The neighborhood is quiet and the public beach is a short, maybe 1/2 mile walk or drive away. The beach was a bit of a disappointment. We live in Colorado and were taking our kids to the ocean for their first time. Most of the shore line of Whidbey Island is private property. The public beaches we went to are very small. This wasn't our final destination (We later stayed in Pacific Beach, Wa) so we weren't too let down. The local communities were a joy to visit. I highly recommend stopping in Clinton, at the Whidbey Island Bagel Factory!
Lori . May 2018
We loved it! As did our 3 and 1 yr old. Plenty of things to do for them around the house and outside. Loved that there were sand toys provided, a laundry room sink and a little 'craft' house/garden shack which was a perfect little playhouse. The whole family slept upstairs and there was plenty of room. Steep stairs were no problem for the 3 year old to navigate and there IS a door that you can close to the downstairs so safety wasn't a concern. And the stairs leading up to top floor were easily blocked and tucked out of sight (the 1 year old forgot they were there most times and when she remembered, we could put a bag or a chair in front to easily block.) Games, music, booze, views and grill. What more could you need? The main A-frame cabin is decorated stylishly. The cabin feels like old school, cozy cabin, but everything works :) I would say the hot/cold on everything - stove and sinks was just that, HOT. (Soup boiled at 5-6 on stove - it's not bad, but just needed to be watched so you don't ruin pans or burn your soup). The layout is 3 stories with a bedroom on each floor. The top room being the largest and we slept our 2 kids (1 yr in a pack n' play and the 3 yr old on a mat on floor) with us upstairs with no problem. And the 4th room above the garage could easily house a family of 4 as well. A family of 4 with kids under 10 would have no problems sleeping upstairs in either building. There are also a lot of 'out buildings' - a storage shed, a VERY cute arts/crafts/garden shed and then the 'Pirate's hideout' covered area. My 3 yr old had a BLAST. And the back deck is huge too! And the front porch provides a great outdoor area as well. The other fun pieces are the unique art touches on the stairs and gardens outside and that the neighbors are very nice (and quiet). We had fun visiting all the attractions of Whidbey which Noelle laid out for us very well, but could have probably spent all day at the cabin entertained and cozy. We are looking forward to our return visit already (with or without the kids) :)
