Located on the sixth floor this 2 bedroom pet-friendly home has amazing views of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and has been professionally decorated. In this spacious unit, you'll have your own private balcony and covered parking – a definite perk on the beach! With no other property/complex in front of Emerald Dolphin, this unit looks directly over the Gulf while you relax on the balcony and watch the dolphins play. Plenty of beds along with a queen sleeper sofa in the den allows for enough sleeping space and a full-size washer and dryer so bring the whole family! The master bedroom has a stand-alone shower in addition to a whirlpool tub should you choose to divulge in a soaking bath. Enjoy the large lagoon-style pool and the large sundeck or enjoy a workout in the fitness facility which overlooks the pool and Gulf or simply relax on the balcony or a long walk on the beach. The view is fabulous and so close to the beach it really doesnt matter that you have to cross the street. It was clean at check in with comfy bed. Will definitely rent this unit again!

We had a great stay. This is a great location with a great view.
However, we spent some time mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors. They were nasty! And be prepared to buy memory foam if you use the twin beds. They’re like sleeping on a rock!
But overall we had a great time.

Dirty, broken and outdated. I had to summarize as they limit words for reviews. Unit is poorly done and maintained. The view of the ocean.

I called and advised housekeeper was still on premises when we arrived at check in time. She shouted from a back room, “I’m running behind”. She left an hour on dishwasher and a load of clothes were in the dryer. She left a garbage bag of essentials on the counter. When I unpacked it the toilet paper roll was wet and packaging for the soap. The foyer clearly had not been swept shown by chip crumbs and lots of sand, the toaster was covered in crumbs, the stove covered in grease, and coffee pot still had a bit of coffee in the bottom. The furniture tops were covered in dust and bathroom vents had loads of black mold on them. There were hairs in the shower. Overall the cleaning looked rushed and unfinished. I immediately went to the grocery store for cleaning supplies and stripped the bed clothes and cleaned the entire unit. The solution when I filed a complaint was to refund the cleaning fee: a small amount considering I paid well over $1000 for my stay and had to clean myself before I could use. The security gate was propped open the entire stay. A security guard said “It may be broken. It’s my first night here.” The decor or the unit was nice, tv’s in every room, close to beach, great view. I’ve stayed at Emerald Dolphin for 4 years and this was the first trip with a poor experience.

Let me first start by saying that I’ve stayed in many rentals over the years, either with friends or I’ve rented several myself.
I’ll start first with the good. The layout of the condo was super. Bedrooms on each side with a bathroom for each. Spacious enough for several people to enjoy. The place was decorated nicely. The view was amazing, however the traffic below could get annoying during the busy summertime. The check in and checkout was simple and the Vacasa staff was attentive.
The ice maker didn’t work so my boyfriend fixed it as well as screwed a few plugs that were about to come out of the wall. The bathroom shower door was broken but did still close.
Now the worst part. The place was filthy! I mean, you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. I am talking filth, not dirt. I couldn’t even cook until I cleaned the kitchen. It was that bad. The spoon holder still had grease in it from the previous renters. The carpet has been urinated on by dogs so many times that you can smell it constantly. Especially if it rains. I had to spray Fabreeze at night just so I could fall asleep. It needs to be removed immediately. I took pictures and sent to Vacasa which I was refunded my cleaning deposit. They did offer to come clean it as well but I had already cleaned what I could. It needs some serious deep cleaning. It would take hours to clean that place!
COVID guidelines are definitely not being followed as stated on their website. They need to fire the cleaning company they are using!

Beautiful view! Peg Leg Pete's and the convenience store Tom Thumb (both) right next store. The condo is roomy. The beds can be a bit more comfortable. But overall, we would definitely come back! Can't beat the view! And a bonus it being pet friendly!

The views from this condo make it well worth the money! Other things we loved: the pool, the way the condo was set up, basically two separate suites with the kitchen and living area in the middle was a really nice privacy bonus, and the fact we could bring our dog with us was great. Just a few minor cons to this condo. First, the kitchen definitely needs to be equipped better with utensils. Second, needs to be updated with some USB charging ports. Third, the bathroom was amazing, but the shower door does not shut properly. We had some problems with the central air when arriving but Vacasa handled the issue immediately and it was taken care of right away. We had a great mini vacation and would definitely recommend both the condo and Vacasa.

I love the complex and the view. We have rented this unit many times. The wait time to make a reservation or call the office is incredibly long and I was bounced around a few times. The unit comes with chairs and the chair company was not advised. Plus someone before us left a good bit of items in the master closet including an open (stuck) ironing board. Granted I love this unit and appreciate they are pet friendly, the attention to details like silverware (only two spoons) could be revisited. Don't get me wrong, I will rent it again. The layout is perfect and it is spacious and the kitchen is well stocked save for eating utensils.
