My 16-year-old son and I stayed in Borders Lodge Lower 110 from August 5th-11th, and we couldn't have enjoyed the unit more. It's beautifully decorated, updated, and modern, but it still has a laid-back, rustic (chic) feel. It's no secret that teenagers love their space, so having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was so ideal for us. The beds were so comfortable, too! Although, I spent most of my time outside on the balcony, which has a beautiful view of the mountain and Gondola. My favorite part of the day was waking up in the morning and taking my coffee out to the balcony to watch all of the hummingbirds flying around. They'd stop by to say "hello" each day, and I looked forward to it so much. I already miss them!

We loved Beaver Creek in general as well, especially the hiking trails at the top of the mountain. Our favorite was Royal Elk Trail to Beaver Lake Trail, and I highly recommend it if you're someone who enjoys taking a hike! Grabbing a burger and cold beer afterward at Spruce Saddle was a welcome treat.

We can't wait to come back, and I would not hesitate to book Lower 110 again when we do. It was just the perfect little home away from home!
