This beautiful house is minutes away from the docks in Hatteras Village and is a quick walk to the beach and sound. Morning, noon, or night, you will enjoy the sound of the surf lounging in hand-crafted Adirondack chairs on a gated spacious deck and pergola tucked behind your own private dune. A second story observation deck gives panoramic views of Pamlico Sound, Sandy Bay, and the ocean. Kick back on the gorgeous recycled redwood and be one of the first to see the sunrise in North Carolina. The kitchen and great room are designed for quality time together, and the upstairs book nook offers a cozy spot to read or to just enjoy a view of the water.
On the first floor, the large main bedroom has a king-size bed, an ocean view, room for a crib, a private bath with a walk-in shower, and access to a laundry room, a deck entrance, and a covered porch. The second bedroom has twin beds with a trundle next to a full bath. Upstairs, both bedrooms have queen beds and water views and share a full bath. An all-weather entry, a car-port, an outside shower, a fish-cleaning station, board racks, and plenty of storage space for bikes complete the amenities. A hint to the chef: some of the freshest seafood in the world is only a five-minute drive away from PPP. Bring the family bikes and consider renting one of the village golf carts.
