Oceanfront, Dog-Friendly House w/ Private Hot Tub & Pool, AC, Private W/D

Enchanting Oceanfront Sea Isle, a unique four-level home to maximize oceanfront views, has it all. Located in the Sea Isle Hills Subdivision, Sea Isle has just a short walk to a beautiful beach and the clean Atlantic, and both neighbors' homes are smaller and are set back on their lots to maximize Sea Isle Views. Good restaurants, shopping, and several watersports shops are just minutes away.

All king beds are upgraded Continental LF Luxury Hotel Series Mattresses.

Ground level: The landscaping at Sea Isle really adds a touch of privacy and isolation to the property. The ground level has good concrete parking with direct elevator access from the driveway to all floors. The common area's accessibility-friendly bathroom has a 36' door for a clear width of 34 1/2' to the accessibility-friendly shower and seat with heavy duty grab bar with an accessibility-friendly flag-shaped sink that can be occupied by all guests using the home. The ground-level main bedroom, pool table, and laundry is all vinyl tile planking for guests with allergies that don't prefer carpet. The pool table and soccer table will also have two mini-fridges with stone countertops. The main bedroom and pool table sliders are fence gate-latched. The pool deck features a 14' x 34' fiberglass pool, nearby brand new hot tub, and outside shower to allow guests to easily jump in and out of all three at the same time with a pool gate for access to the oceanfront beach, park grill, and propane grill with local famous and made 'Built to Last' composite picnic table and benches, deck loungers, and chairs.

Level 2: Guests can enjoy the main king bedroom with a balcony deck overlooking the pool and dunes, and a king bedroom with a walk-out deck with views south down the beach that shares a bathroom separated by a corridor with a twin over full bunk and a twin bedroom.

Level 3: Guests can enjoy the main bedroom with a king bed with a balcony deck overlooking the pool and dunes with a larger bathroom, and a king bedroom with a walk-out deck with views south down the beach that shares a bathroom separated by a corridor with a twin-over-full bunk and a twin bedroom and a half bathroom that serves fourth-floor guests.

Level 4: Sea Isle's crown has cathedral ceilings, an oak staircase, and vinyl planked flooring. The living area has two leather seating couches, an extra large TV/DVD, and spectacular oceanfront and beach views because the adjacent house south is set closer to the street and Sea Isle is set furthest to the ocean. The south-facing sun deck will have a picnic table and some really nice views east toward the ocean and views south down the dune line. The dining room will have two large style conference room tables butting together, with adult seats and benching to maximize small children's capacity, and it seats 14-16 kids and adults. The island-style bar will have three to four bar-style chairs for a small group meal or for happy hour service. The island also has a sink that faces the ocean with dishwashers right and left of the sink for easy loading. Nearby is an under-counter ice machine with a floor drain, refrigerator with filter and crushed ice service, oven, and microwave. The kitchen counters are custom Kyanite stone countertops. The fourth-floor deck has a 'Built to Last' picnic table and benches with captain's chairs, a deck lounger, and two specialty-designed director chairs that are elevated to maximize your views in comfort.

Loved the location to the beach - plenty of bedrooms and nice pool. Plenty of plates and silverware and kitchen utensils.
However, could not get into the home - after NUMEROUS phone calls and text on our check in day - no HELP AT ALL. Bizarre. Excuses as to no cleaning crew - the whole entrance process was so disturbing . Rented the house 7 months ago - and yet the MORNING OF OUR arrival - they changed the time we could get into the home from 4 to 6 p.m. This is so impractical for people traveling from NYS (12 hour drives planned way ahead) - and it is just plain rude. When the cleaning people got to the home - as we were still sitting outside at 7 p.m. - they could not get in either.
My stars above are just on the home itself - here are the things we ran into in the home:
Large dust balls from the previous person's dog - dog had clearly been left in more than one bathroom as there were animal clawing on the inside of the the doors. Smoke detector going off in the middle of the night - it was the battery - which says no one took the time to change them. Blinds in the bedrooms broken and not replaced. When wind blows the doors rattle terrible and every screen door came off the tracks daily - ridiculous.
Was told someone would be to the home to let us in - NO ONE CAME - much less in the 15 minutes they said they would be there. They said someone would be there the next day to fix the lock on the front door - NO ONE EVER CAME ALL WEEK. Shameful.
Said the home would have mini shampoo - nothing. Said home would have a blow dryer - nothing. Management of this house is clearly lacking - if you want to take a chance go for it.
Also since the cleaners could not get into the home (they were very nice) the company returned the cleaning fee to me - for NOT cleaning it.
It is really not the way to start a vacation - with 13 people - some of which are children - you should be ashamed.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Kim. We apologize that we dropped the ball, as this is not the high standard of guest satisfaction that we hold ourselves to. Unfortunately, due to housekeeping staff shortages for 2022, we have had to change some check-in times to 6 pm. We understand how inconvenient this is for our guests and we hope the refund you were issued helped to compensate for the challenges. We have shared your feedback with our local manager to work with the owners on updating the home. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope we have the chance to impress you in the future.

Beautiful home and close to the beach!

Beautiful home to sit on the deck and look out at the ocean or walk down the path to the water. Hot tub was a great way to relax while listening to the waves. Highly recommend.

The house was spacious with a wonderful view. The elevator made it easy for everyone to bring in their belongings. The pool area was nice to gather and outside as well.
Janice H. Sep 2021
The house was clean. It had every utensil needed for cooking. Everything worked as it should and beds were super comfy. No complaints!!!

This house is on the beach with great amenities particularly that it allows a pet. Very clean and well maintained. Loved our stay.
KELLEY G. Sep 2021
It started off with difficulty getting the code to enter the house. They refused to provide it prior to check in day. For our group this caused problems because the person they said they would send it wasn't going to be reachable by text or phone. Without jumping through a lot of hoops and complying with the request to provide additional information on others and gathering together the requested information and spending no less than one hour texting and calling to be assured that the two individuals added would be notified with the codes for entry on check in day. That did not happen. Extraordinary measures had to be taken to contact me using emergency services to obtain the codes. Made for a tense bad check in after a long day of traveling. The house was still being cleaned when guest started to arrive, they didn't not finish until after 5:00 pm and clearly they rushed and left without finishing and checking their work. Rooms didn't have towels, pillows or blankets. There was overall dirt on the floors, there was a broken glass by the one couch, there was a long black hair in the tub, there was a used #5 Birthday Candle left on the floor next to the refrigerator. The bathroom floors hadn't been swept. The ice machine wasn't working and the two small refrigerators in the pool room weren't maintaining coldness. The fans in all the rooms were filthy, didn't turn them on during the entire stay didn't want to spread dirt. There were clear hand and nose prints on the sliding doors. The screen door in the one bedroom on the 2nd floor was off the track and blowing free in the wind. An e-mail was sent with the detailed problems, it was not responded to. Some additional towels were dropped off. No pillows or blankets were dropped off and none of the other concerns were mentioned. On Wednesday a leak occurred over the toilet in the bedroom below the ice maker. A call to the office was told they never received the e-mail (although I had a copy showing it was sent and received) and was told someone would call to let me know what they would be doing; at that time I was told that the ICE MAKER wasn't available. That it shouldn't have been listed on the amenities to begin with? Not okay. They sent a tech to the house without a phone call, luckily was inside using bathroom and heard the door bell. The tech fixed and cleaned up the leak, he was very professional and efficient. He checked the refrigerators in the basement and said they had frozen up. Please note that they were like that when we arrived at the house. He adjusted the temperature and we had to deal with water leaking onto the floor for the remainder of the trip. He also assisted with the dryer operation. It is wonky, the knob needs assistance to move and set. Perhaps putting a sign on it to let guests know it sticks and needs some extra care to turn on would have saved our frustration on not being able to dry our towels. The hike over the dune to the beach is challenging. There are burrs along the path, the sand is deep so you sink in and it is also steep. Some note should be included in the description to let guests know this might not be the property for them. We had young and pregnant people in our group and most struggled. Not having the ice maker was a great hardship. Having only one full size refrigerator we needed to keep drinks in coolers. Twice a day someone had to go to get ice. To say nothing of the time it was expensive to have to purchase ice for 4 coolers twice a day. Because the refrigerators in the basement weren't working two desserts were also ruined.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Kelley. We sincerely apologize for the frustration you experienced while accessing the home and for the inconvenience it caused. We are also sorry that the home was not in better condition upon your arrival and regret to hear that this was your experience while staying with us. Please know this is not our standard grade of cleanliness and presentation. The comfort and satisfaction of our guests is our priority and the experience you had is certainly not commonplace. Since your stay, the two mini-fridges have been repaired and are working as they should. The icemaker is being repaired and the ceiling leak is also being addressed. We apologize for the cleanliness and maintenance issues you experienced and appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. We hope you will allow us the opportunity to provide you with a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future.

The layout of the house was great, and the location was excellent. It was nice having an elevator & handicap bathroom for the grandparents. There was plenty of room in the dining room & living room, however the kitchen was really too small for the number of people the house accommodates. The decks were a little too small as well since they are only on the side of the house & don’t wrap around to the back.

Our initial response upon arrival was not good as the cleaning staff had basically changed the sheets and wiped a few things down. Our family ended up cleaning the entire house. After that initial negative, however, everything else was very positive. The common room is huge and worked great for our large gathering. Two dishwashers and multiple refrigerators helped immensely. the kitchen is fairly small for a house this size but everything in it worked. Lots of stairs (I think one extra level than most of the OBX rentals we've been in) but the bedroom layout worked wonderfully for us. There is a beautiful shower/bathroom on the lowest level that might be handicapped accessible.
The beach is a short walk up the path and was fabulous. We loved the composite deck furniture - no splintering and very solid. The kitchen table configuration was perfect for our group of 10 adults and 4 children.
We learned that all of the properties are experiencing cleaning problems and short staffing this summer - we were refunded the cleaning fee plus a fair amount for the extra work we had to put in. I would rent here again.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable experience with us, Carol. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the home, but we regret that the cleanliness of the home did not meet your expectations. We strive to maintain a standard of excellence in home cleanliness and upkeep for the comfort of our guests, in addition to being readily available to assist in addressing any questions or concerns that might arise. Your concerns have been addressed with the housekeeping team to ensure our standards are being met for every guest moving forward. While it does not negate the experience you had, we hope the refund you were given is indicative of our efforts to make things right. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the smaller kitchen. The prep area is purposely small in order to maximize the bar seating and large dining room. Along with that, we acknowledge that the home does have a lot of stairs. However, we provide a 4-story elevator for our guest's convenience. Lastly, we can confirm that the bathroom on the 1st floor is handicap accessible. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

The only reason not to give 5 stars: don’t think the elevator makes this a wheelchair-friendly house. All the thresholds are very hard to negotiate, even with strong grandsons around. The doorways are very narrow, and the only accessible bathroom is blocked by a heavy foosball table. Unaided, a wheelchair-bound person cannot get in or out of the house, on to any of the decks or into any of the bathrooms. The location and views are lovely.
