We enjoyed our stay in this home very much. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The location was ideal for us to access Boston and Rhode Island for day trips. Our teens were happy with their own rooms. We’d stay there again if we find ourselves back in the area.

Sandwich is a beautiful Town on the Cape. The house is in a quintessential Neighborhood of Cape Cod style houses. The house was a good location from which to explore. The location of the house is perfect! Right next to the beach and close to the grocery store. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. The house was perfectly clean upon arrival, and it contained all the dishes/glasses/pots/paper products we needed. Loved the firepit! Turnkey services/emails/texts were also helpful and friendly...the entire process was smooth as silk! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We stayed at this property for a week while our house was on the market. The house seemed newly updated, and everything was in great condition. It was filled with adorable nautical decor, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The space was perfect for us and our two young boys. My husband had space to work upstairs, and there was plenty of room for the kids to play downstairs and in the yard. We wished we had remembered our sled because there`s a small hill in the back of the yard. We appreciated the clean, like-new toys available for guest use in the basement, which really helped to break up the monotony on rainy days. There were several great restaurants close by that were still open in the off season, with our favorites being Moto Pizza, Cafe Chew, and Fishermen`s View. We also had a good experience with TurnKey, who moved us to this property after the first one we booked had some unexpected issues. Booking was a breeze. We received address and door code promptly.
We found the house to be cozy, and it was on a quiet street about 5 minutes from restaurants, ice cream shops and grocery stores. A word of caution for those with young children: beware or the stairs outside of the bedroom and also the stairs leading to the basement has a door but no latch.
Upon checking in we noticed a red beer/soda tab that our child found on the floor in the living room, a beach ball covered with sand under a table, a lewd message written with the magnetic letters on the fridge, a tea kettle with dirty water left on the stove, no door stops so there were holes in the wall from doorknobs hitting them, large black ants in kitchen and dining area, and worse...the trash outside was so full the lid couldn’t close and there was a horrible smell like something dead was inside, flies were everywhere and got inside the house, and there were hundreds of maggots all over the trash can. Bob was on it but apparently the cleaning crew was lacking. At the end of our 2nd day all they did was come out and push the trash down. After another call to Bob, on day 3 trash can was dumped and barely rinsed out. The smell was still there and so were quite a few maggots. The horrible smell and itchy icky feeling of seeing the multitude of maggots and ridding the house of flies took away from what could have been a very pleasant trip because it was a nice town.
The homeowner had been there when we arrived and he too had put in a call about the trash.
Turnkey customer service and management was the worst (outside of Bob who promptly returned calls while we were there). It’s been over 2 weeks and still no one has gotten back to me regarding our negative experience. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
