This studio-style apartment presents very well. It was clean and in a great location. It’s near the elevator, so it’s easy to get to. The room itself has a comfortable bed with soft bedding. There is a desk which is perfect for a laptop. The TV is fine, though the feed was lagging at times. The kitchen is a nice size with a compact dish washer and refrigerator. I do wish there were more than 2 pots/pans and that they weren’t nonstick. Makes food taste funny. The rest of the kitchen supplies were fine. We had 2 random flickering lights, but it was fine to leave them off. Having the compact washer/dryer was great too. The shower was nice with good water pressure. The balcony is very lovely with table to sit at. Overall the apartment was very nice. The beach is an easy walk, and there are outdoor showers near the stairs (hard to see if you’re not looking). The pool is gorgeous, and there are several shops for goodies or dining. We really enjoyed the pizza from Coastal Crust! My biggest negative for this trip was the process of checking in. It is explained in the email where to go, that was fine. However, when we checked in, the front desk at first could not find our reservation. When they did, the dates were incorrect. Thankfully it was remedied, but that should never have been an issue! It seems to me that Vacasa somehow got dates wrong because they are correct in emails from Priceline and Booking. Also, I was not told that the resort would charge a $190 deposit. Vacasa says damages are covered with booking, so I do not understand why the resort needs a deposit. Checking out was easy, thankfully. Now we know what to expect, but I am left with an overall negative concept of Vacasa handling the booking. Isle of Palms makes up for it though! Great place!

We found the suite to be very well appointed, clean, with a good size patio and centrally located to the resort amenities. However, the unit is located directly above the resort's convenience market and outdoor public seating area so if you are looking for total privacy, you may want to be located in another of the residence buildings.
