Mountain getaway, 2 newly remodeled cabins, ridge line views, hot tub & firepit

Find the perfect setup for an extended family or multiple families vacationing together at this two-cabin property in the North Georgia Mountains. Up here at the top of the ridgeline, you'll have a spectacular, long-range view from the deck - yet you'll also be mere minutes from charming downtown Blue Ridge.

This property sits in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area, about two miles from downtown Blue Ridge, the shores of Lake Blue Ridge, and the Toccoa River. It feels a bit like your own private summer camp, offering a wonderful deck where you can barbecue and picnic in the forest canopy, an outdoor firepit for summer s'mores, and a private hot tub to relax you after a day of adventure.

The property consists of a four-bedroom (plus loft) main cabin and a two-bedroom guest cabin, with the expansive, mountain view deck connecting the two homes. The main house is wonderfully bright and open, offering a lofty great room with a gas fireplace, a cable TV, and a lovely setting for family gatherings. Use the kitchen's newer stainless steel appliances and granite countertops to prepare homemade meals, then spend the after-dinner hours playing Ping-Pong, setting up board games in one of the two sunrooms, or unwinding in the hot tub on the screened porch.

The guest cabin boasts the same amazing view from its sunroom, as well as a living room with a gas fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and TVs in the living room and both bedrooms.

My extended family of 13 people had a magnificent stay at Eagles Haven! The house was spotless and well-appointed with all the necessities you could ask for. There was lots of room for the entire group to gather for games, TV watching, conversation, and eating. The detached 2-bedroom house was equally well-appointed and provided a nice area for getting away from the larger group when naps were necessary. There is a sweeping mountain view off the deck that separates the two houses. The hot tub and fire pit were nice perks. Plenty of board games, card games, and puzzles provided entertainment, and of course the ping pong table was a big attraction. One important thing to note is that, while there are bedrooms on the main floors, both houses require walking up some stairs to enter. There is no wheelchair access. The property is only about 10 minutes from the quaint downtown of Blue Ridge, GA and surrounded by tons of hiking areas in all directions.

I’d like to start by saying, I’m the worst and never write reviews. But for this place, I had to. We spent 6 days at this home, going there to get away from hurricane Ian. We had 3 kids and our dogs. We packed in a flash and hoped for the best. When we got there, the house had everything we needed and more. Including sound machines in each room which was a god send for putting a toddler down for a nap while our two boys were playing and watching movies. The beds were incredibly comfortable and all the bedding was so soft and cozy. The thought and effort put in was incredibly noticeable. We normally have a hard time sleeping, miss our beds and just generally are out of sorts when away. Not here, we were all so cozy. The kitchen was stocked with we’ve gadget and tool we needed for making 3 meals a days for a family of 5. Also, the decor in every part of the house was so lovely. I kept telling my husband, I want this and that for our house when looking around. It was not your normal cabin in the woods with out dated furniture at all. Beautiful art, modern yet cozy furniture that all fit just right. Now for the view, just breathtaking. We’d all go out every morning and and every evening to enjoy. Even our littlest said “all the trees are so pretty.” I love that you get this view from the jacuzzi, master bed and cottage. Which we used as our offices and it was amazing. We would have stayed forever if we could have. Highly recommend for you next family vacation. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Can’t wait to come back!
