We loved the location of the house and that it had 3 good sized bedrooms. We were on the Cape for a family wedding and this house fit the bill for our stay! I appreciated that it was really clean, and that they supplied bath AND a beach towels for every guest. However, a few things could greatly improve a future rental experience: 1) It was a little annoying that my husband had to install the 3rd bedroom's window AC unit upon our arrival. In summer months, they should remain installed. 2) The kitchen outlets and countertops need immediate attention. We have an infant and were constantly washing bottles and there were large cracks, warping the countertop. The power to the kitchen outlet by the sink barely worked. On top of that it was not updated to GFCI while being a foot from the sink. I used the provided toaster and I had to "toast" my bagel 4x's for it to barely brown the bread. And it almost never heated my baby's bottle when we tried to use our bottle warmer. Something is wrong with that outlet. 3) The sun room is absolutely lovely, and was so inviting. However, a window air unit and/or window blinds are needed. It got SO hot in the sun room in the afternoons that we couldn't sit in there until after dark. And then the massive amount of windows made it a bit spooky at night without any curtains or blinds. And for safety reasons, I would have liked thicker curtains on the French door in the kitchen. I was there alone at night at one point and I didn't like that anyone walking by could see right through the lacey curtain. 4) Some of the light switches (which were really cool, vintage push buttons) need repaired - specifically the one in the bathroom which was recessed into the wall. We made sure to never touch it with wet hands. Overall, we liked the house and location a lot and would rent it again, if these minor issues were addressed.
