Beautiful home & property! Loved it. The set-up was perfect with each bedroom down the hall from one another. The master bedroom has its own large bathroom - An oversized tub, standing shower & a huge closet! Two sinks & lots of space. The 2nd bedrooms full bathroom is right beside it. Both with lots of dresser space & TV's. Washer & dryer in the hallway. Also a great half bath downstairs! Rarely are there homes with 2 1/2 bathrooms. Great kitchen where you can see the view of the golf course right out the Lanai windows. Filtered water & ice dispenser in the refrigerator door - a big plus! The living & dining room had plenty space. Loved having a balcony outside the master bedroom with seating & a side table. The Lanai (Patio) area off the living/dining room was awesome! Lot's of little geckos always running around - they hide when they see you. Super cute! There's full home air conditioning & extra oscillating fans. A fabulous perk were electrical outlets on the balcony & lanai. I took a fan outside onto the balcony & I was able to sit out there for hours! My husband did some work on his laptop sitting at the table on the Lanai & was able to plug in when needed. Beautiful large windows & high ceilings. A little bench outside the front doors to remove your shoes & such. A garage with all kinds of beach items - bags, soft cooler, chairs, goggles, water shoes, bodyboard, toys for kids, etc. The garage is small - If you have anything bigger than a standard car, I don't think you'll fit. Our rental car was a Nissan Altima & it was a tight squeeze. We'd get out of the car as hubby backed into the garage - not much room to squeeze out the car doors once you're in. Not a problem for us, but just a mention if you're renting a bigger car or aren't good with parking in small spaces. The pool was large, clean & so nice! The perfect temperature all day & evening. Hot tub too. Very safe in the complex & it was so quiet. If you're concerned about being on a golf course, this home is private. If you by chance do see golfers (we didn't see many in the 2 wks we stayed) they are far enough away & definitely focused on their game! There's only 1 golf hole within "view" so the golfers are in & out of the spot. We had a great & private set-up in comparison to other homes here. I can't say enough how great this home was & pretty much had all we needed. The price was great as well! Make sure you check with Vacasa before booking with 3rd parties - they are not always the best. Vacasa SAVED us money for the very SAME home listed through 3rd party sites! Plus you know you'll be taken care of booking directly with them! I like to give very detailed reviews. We should know to take all reviews with a grain of salt, as many only take time to post about "bad" experiences" & rarely the good. This was our 1st trip to Hawaii for our 25th anniversary. We'd definitely stay here again if ever coming back to The Big Island! Surely eat a Malasada! Waikoloa is the place to be.

We slept with the windows open listening to the sound of the waves lapping on the lava rocks below. Clear view of the sunsets every night.

Stunning views and a perfect location. Falling asleep to the rhythmic sound of the waves was easily the highlight of my stay - pure bliss.
