Recent Waikoloa Beach vacation rental reviews

This home is perfect for getting together with family but not giving up on space you would at a traditional hotel. Having two full rooms with attached baths, full kitchen, and a spacious living room made for a wonderful time. The first floor patio was also a plus for relaxing and added space.

Love the location and the quiet place! Only problem was the lock on the door is kinda tough to open! Otherwise we will be back!

We've stayed at three different units at the Colony Villas in the last four years. This unit is well appointed and equipped and had plenty of beach chairs and toys which is important to us. Would definitely stay here again. However, there was zero "left overs" other than coffee filters which was a first on our almost 30 years in renting vacation properties on 4 continents. No left over salt and pepper, sugar, paper products etc. We left that all behind in this unit and would be nice to know if these are being disposed of due to Covid (not necessary) or cleaning staff taking them (which is why I don't trash unopened food or remaining liquor but please leave some basics left from the last vacationers). Also, a set of plastic cups would be nice for patio and pool use. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Where is Waikoloa Beach Resort?

This welcoming resort sits on the northeastern shores of the Big Island, roughly 20 miles north of Kona International Airport on the Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway. Here on the ocean coast, you'll be 20 miles southwest of Waimea's pasturelands and 25 miles north of Kona's famous coffee farms.

Things to Do at Waikoloa Beach Resort

Because the Kohala Coast sees just nine inches of rainfall each year, our Waikoloa Beach Resort vacation homes are ideal for golfers, beach-goers, and travelers looking to enjoy Hawaii's wondrous outdoor adventures.

Your experience begins on the shores of Anaeho'omalu Bay, where you can sunbathe on the sandy expanse of Anaeho'omalu Beach or bring along your snorkel gear to search for turtles and dolphins. Return to shore in the afternoon to catch your tee time at the Beach Course or the Kings' Course. You'll have the rest of the day to stroll through the Queens' Marketplace and its wonderful collection of boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and Hawaiian cultural and entertainment events.

Discover turquoise water, swaying palms, and wonderful amenities - reserve your stay in one of our Waikoloa Beach Resort vacation rentals today!
