Recent Penn Yan guest reviews

We hosted a board game retreat for some friends and the house very much suited our needs. The older furniture at times was not the most comfortable since we were doing a lot of sitting while playing games, but overall we loved the space and would consider going back in the future. At one point there was a leak in one of the windows (it rained all Memorial Day weekend), but the property managers were very prompt in coming out to fix the issue.

We had a lovely weekend stay to celebrate a Hobart and William Smith graduate. We had 13 people around the table for dinner in the well equipped dining room, and 9 sleeping over in the comfy beds. The home has three full baths which made it fairly easy for everyone to get enough bathroom time. We didn't take advantage of the ping pong table in the additional family room, but it looked like a really nice one. The home is right on a busy road, but there is a fence along the front of the property that gives plenty of privacy, and the road was fairly quiet at night.

The house was very charming, it was an older house but had all the necessities, and the lake area was the all time favorite.

Things to do near Penn Yan, NY

Folks come to Penn Yan in search of a quiet getaway in a small town, surrounded by beautiful outdoors—and that’s exactly what they receive. Of course, there are the stunning, pristine waters of Keuka Lake, offering everything from kayaking to trout fishing to watching vivid sunsets over the water.
