I'm from Rutland originally and now live out of state but we were back in VT visiting family for thanksgiving and since they have downsized their house we needed a place for our family to stay. The house was incredibly clean. Its also immensely larger than it looks in pictures. The downstairs basement was great to have since we had toddlers who enjoyed having their own place to play. Although the stairs may be an issue for younger guests. The beds were comfortable. Only having one shower was a small inconvenience for a house that sleeps 8 but that's not something that can be changed. it was helpful to at least have two other half baths. The house could benefit from a few extra bar stools or extra seating for the upstairs living room and a few extra cooking utensils and pants/pots for the kitchen which were very lacking. but overall we had a great stay and would stay again. Also as a family of young kids we greatly appreciated not having a laundry list of checkout items to complete.
