My mom and I took a girls trip for long a weekend and this place was perfect! It’s walking distance from delicious restaurants and part of the theater district! Fairly quiet and easy parking too!

The house was great...it was hot during our trip and having ceiling fans in the bedrooms and family room was perfect along with with window AC. We were able to keep the house very cool throughout our stay. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms great and kitchen well equipped for most anything. Close to anything Tacoma or Gig Harbor and very quiet area. We would stay there again.

What a cute little cottage. Loved the updated bathroom with the double sink vanity and the mirror with the dual option back lighting and anti fog option. The back patio lounge area was a relaxing space on a warm afternoon. Loved that we had access to a BBQ and outdoor seating area. There was no AC (which we knew ahead of time) and for the most part the house was comfortable for a warm 4th of July week. If there was a way to not have the heat radiate thru the front window as hot as it did, it would've been more comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay and we enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again (but maybe not in such a warm month).

Where is Tacoma, Washington?

Tacoma neighbors Seattle to the south, and the two cities bookend Sea-Tac airport. This city is one of Washington’s largest, and offers easy access to popular vacation spots like Vashon Island. Like many places in the Seattle area, Tacoma sits on the water, facing beautiful Commencement Bay. Drive up to Seattle to access the Puget Sound, or take an easy day trip from here to the Cascades and Olympic National Park.

Things to do in Tacoma

Parks, dining, shopping, and more await Tacoma rental guests. Start with 6th Avenue, the city’s historic hub for eating, drinking, and browsing boutiques. Catch a movie and stroll the waterfront at Point Ruston, a well-manicured residential area full of high-end condo rentals. Point Defiance Park right up the road offers something for everyone in the family, from the kids’ playgrounds to scenic views to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
