Recent Helen guest reviews

The Evergreen was a warm, welcoming place to stay during our recent girl’s trip. We arrived to find the house fully decorated for the holidays, which was a wonderful touch! The decor was beautiful & the house smelled wonderful. We felt right at home. We typically visit a few times a year & would definitely consider staying again.

It is near to downtown Helen as well as several state parks with nice hikes to waterfalls. I also enjoyed going to wineries and horseback riding nearby. The apartment was comfortable, and I enjoyed the fireplace.

The cabin itself was delightful. It was perfect for our little family. The floors were rather gross. It was though they were not vacuumed prior to our arrival, and the build up of dog hair on the rug in the living room was gross. I would suggest just doing away with the rug completely. The biggest letdown was the fireplace. It did don’t work. We asked for help the day we arrived and we never received any help the entirety of our stay. That was a pretty big let down. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows down by the river and spending time in the hot tub. The cabin setup was great for our family.
