Spotlessly clean and comfortable, and a great location.
We loved the location, parking spaces, inside and out of the house
Roomy and all you need was readily available. The condo cabin was very clean extra towels, pillows, and bedding was available.
We had a great time. The place was clean and cozy. Great decoration and fully furnished. Full size kitchen to cook in. The bed was better than mine! The owner and staff are super helpful and friendly, We brought out dogs which were welcomed. Defiantly will stay here again.
This is are second time staying here, the place is perfect for us and are dog , there is lots of space around the area to walk your dog in the neighborhood with a meadow near by and even close enough to walk to town and lake. The only issue we had was the front door was in need of a whole new door it did not lock right and was very old. And I think they should have recycling bins somewhere.
We have repaired the door and suggested an entirely new one to the owner. We appreciate the feedback!
Clean, good location, housekeeping staff were incredibly thorough and helpful. WiFi is essentially non-existent and cell service 1 bar at best so don't plan to fall back on that.
I had a great time, but if it was the middle of summer, I'd bring a fan or two. They should put window air conditioning for the hot months.
If you're like me and find a hot tub a must, call and check whether it's working or not. Even if the hot tub is listed it might not be working. It never was fixed while we were there but we were given some credit back.
Floor was really dirty, turned the bottoms of my feet black within 5 minutes.
Nicely decorated. Nautical theme.
Great location. Close to great restaurant, cafe fiore.
Nice forest view from steamer cabin. Saw a bear which was cool.
It's a nice cabin getaway. It wasn't HORRIBLE, but there were things they can definitely work on. First and foremost if I pay for a cleaning fee then the place should be clean when I arrive. I found crumbs on the floors, bugs all over the bathroom (they weren't huge but just a lot of small bugs), when we were cooking dinner I pulled out dishes and found food marks on some. I rewashed everything we used regardless, but it shouldn't have been dirty period. Dish rack has not ever been cleaned besides when I wiped it down. I didn't even like putting our dishes we would reuse in it because it wasn't sanitary. Wifi did not work the entire time. This is huge when you have kids. Once you settle down it's nice to give them an ipad to play some games and unwind and get them out of your hair for a little while. Parents need breaks too sometimes. Thats a big con for me anywhere I go. I would have booked in one of the local hotels had I known the wifi wasn't working. Everyone was super friendly. Nice views & close to everything. I wouldn't tell anyone to stay away, but for the price it could have been better.
We apologize for the disappointments this guest experienced. The property manager has followed-up with housekeeping. We have also scheduled an appointment with the cable company to install more routers. Thank you!
Serene. Quiet. Great hot tub nice neighborhood
I have stayed here 3 times and the property is clean and has recently been updated, new floors, sofa etc. I will definitely be back again!
Lots of places to play for the kids just outside the gated area. Cozy place with plenty of hot water and heat! Location was perfect for Heavenly mountain, for uber or shuttles. We will definitely be staying again.
Spacious and comfortable and fits 4 nicely with two tiny dogs.
Easy to book and access. No issues at all!
Close drive to Lake Tahoe Blvd, Sledding, Tubing, Heavenly Ski Resort and many restaurants! The river is pretty much in your backyard. Great for dogs!
Loved the privacy and upgrades to the condo.
Our stay here was great. The location was perfect, very close to the lake and heavenly resort/village. Would come back again next time we visit Tahoe again.
Wifi was not working when we reached. Had to call and figure it out. Please provide the updated wifi information in check in details. Everything else was fine.
The improvements to the cabins make it seem like a new experience....very nice.!!!!
cute and peaceful property great location, the triplex unit could use carpet and furnishing updates, couch had holes and tears in cushions and carpets were stained throughout needed to be cleaned or replaced.
The owners do have plans for renovating these cabins which will fix the issues listed, but there is no exact time frame for this project yet. We'll do our best to keep you posted as the updates begin!
close to Heavenly, stores, and MacDuff's pub
Don't rent unless you love the stench of marijuana smoke and don't care if the wifi doesn't work.
We are very sorry to see that there were guests smoking on the premises - had we been notified we would have dealt with the situation immediately. The Property Manager has taken care of the internet so it is now available to connect to.
The only pro is excellent the location. The cabin was dark, outdated, worn and smelly. The carpet was stained, and it smelled of dog pee. Couch, recliners, and bed are so old and worn... they could not be sold on a garage sale. The kitchen and bathroom were probably circa 1950....All furnishings should go straight to the dump, and cabin needs a complete remodel. Internet connection does not work and cable image was horrible. It kept going on and off during Super Bowl.
Thank you for sharing your review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy the amenities during your stay. We have have shared your comments with our property manager and they will look into each of your concerns to make sure that the home is more comfortable for our guests going forward. Thank you again for choosing Vacasa.
Cute cabin for a couple or single.
Our group of four (plus two dogs) enjoyed our one-night stay. It is very clean, has a rustic, cabin-like feel and the location is convenient. We took an Uber to stateline and they were there in 3 minutes each way! It is pet-friendly but does not appear as such as pets are not allowed on the furniture. This is a downstairs unit so there are neighbors upstairs. They were up quite early but nothing out of the ordinary. There was room for both kids and dogs to safely play in the snow out front as it is off the road in it's own gated area. And the water pressure is awesome after a cold day on the mountain. We will definitely stay here again!
Great location at an affordable price, but the apartment could use some improvements in terms of lighting, heating, the sofa bed (bring an air mattress!), and the oven. Can hear noise from the unit above, but the shared hot tub is great and well-maintained.
Thank you for your feedback. The Property Manager will be advised of your suggestions for improvement. We are glad to see that you found the cabin to be a good value and hope to find you here again!
We enjoy Spruce Grove and have a group that comes here every year and rents all of the cabins for a week to ten days. We love that it is all fenced and dog friendly. Overall, the property is pretty well maintained, although some improvements could be made. Housekeeping was responsive with our few requests.
I was very happy, the cabin itself was a little older but clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The property was extremely well maintained and this is one of the best pet friendly accommodations I have found in the south Lake Tahoe area! I will definitely be back.
Happy to have a nice place for the dogs!
Furniture seems a little worn but still quite comfortable location is great grounds are nice for dogs and people
great, clean and safe place and location to stay and relax- thank you!
We have stated at Spruce Grove over the summer and loved it so much we decided to take a quick weekend trip in the winter. The units are theme decorated and we loved both of the ones we stayed in. The lawn is beautiful and I love that the gate so my dogs can run around inside the property. There hot tub is nice but we didn't get a chance to enjoy it this time around. We have stayed at other locations that were "pet-friendly" but we did not enjoy the stay and were so excited to find Spruce Grove and will continue to book there for our Tahoe vacations.
Very dog friendly, felt comfortable letting them run off leash in the fenced in property. Great location to many Tahoe sites/activities. We were missing some items that were supposed to be in the cabin. We asked the staff, and they happily supplied us with what we needed. We will definitely be back.
Very dog friendly, lovely grounds, great location, friendly, helpful staff and cozy cabins made for a wonderful vacation!
