Lakefront home w/ private pool and hot tub, patio, fireplace, and more!
At this comfortable Spicewood vacation home, you'll have Lake Travis right in your backyard, so be sure to bring a canoe or kayak along. You'll also have a private pool and a hot tub during your stay.
If you're hoping to eat out, try Poodies about three miles down the road, and you might catch some excellent live music along the way. And downtown Austin is an easy easy trip at only 25 miles away. If you're up for some golfing, you'll love this home's location - Falconhead Golf Course is only a short distance away, as is the novelty of Willie Nelson's Pendernales Golf Club.
The master bedroom opens up to a stone terrace overlooking the pool area. Kids will love the slide, while the adults will enjoy soaking in the hot tub. The surrounding patio area features a gas grill and plenty of seating. The upstairs balcony offers a great view of the entire backyard and the woods beyond.
Inside, central air conditioning keeps the whole home cool. If the fickle Texas weather does get chilly, there's a fireplace here, too. Challenge someone to a round of pool in the game room, or head upstairs to the wet bar for a drink and a game of air hockey. The TV there is outfitted with cable, Roku, a Blu-Ray player, and Netflix (for use with guest's own login). Free WiFi keeps everybody connected during your stay.
Prepare your at-home meals in the full kitchen here, complete with granite countertops, two ovens, and two islands. The home's washer and dryer make post-pool cleanup simple. This spacious home is also kid-friendly, with a Pack 'n Play included for the younger guests.
Reserve your family's spot at this lakeside Spicewood retreat!
* Please be aware that Lake Travis is currently quite low and guests should check www.lcra.org for water levels.

The house was very clean and well kept. We had our yearly family vacation at this home with 6 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of room in the house. We really enjoyed all the different activities and games the house provides. We were also very impressed with the amount of basic supplies that the house had such as toilet paper, shampoo, etc. The property manager Katy was very responsive to our questions and requests. I would defiantly recommend this house, no complaints.
The house was gorgeous and very well layed out. backyard had privacy and a path to lake. The ONLY complaint is the AC was locked at 72deg. Fortunately the weather was not humid, so we could open the windows in the evenings to get extra air. The management staff was very helpful and responsive. I would stay there again, but definitely not in the summer months.
Lovely, relaxing weekend away with the girls. Enjoy the view, pool, hot tub, and privacy but yet great location to grocery, dining, church , etc.
We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, walking to the river in the morning to enjoy the outdoors, using the hot tub for a relaxing soak, and the beauty of Texas Hill Country. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked and a great place to prepare a meal. Clean bathrooms with plenty of towels.
We enjoyed the large screen TVs and brought along some movies for the DVD player at night. We had a great time!
One small note... if you want to listen to music or hear the news when going to bed or waking up, the bedrooms do not have radios. But again, a small quibble.
Wow...we just spent 4 nights at the Roadrunner Ranch for a family wedding in Hill Country Texas. First impressions and the most important it passed the white sock test, the house was impeccably clean. The layout was great, and we all had a great space to gather and converse but also had plenty of space to get away. The master suite was a private oasis and was a welcome retreat. We will be staying at the Roadrunner again, only complaint was the poor weather as we really did not get to use the hot tub or pool but we can control that.
We really enjoyed all the amenities and proximity to lake- everything we needed (besides groceries and a hairdryer) we’re there! Even a pack and play football Emmy 10 month old was available. Would definitely stay again!!!
Lots of room and spacious! Loved the big kitchen and swiming pool !
Love everything about this home so super clean cozy. Kids loved the pool enjoyed every single day I was out there. Did have to go anywhere. We enjoy every single part of the house. By far best home I’ve stayed at on VRBO.
The house was big and well stocked. Swimming pool, hot tub and outdoor area was great!!!
We stayed here with our whole family from great grandma (80) to youngest grandkids (5) and had a great time! It was close enough for day excursions or staying in and hanging by the gorgeous pool! Would highly recommend!
The house was so clean and gave us plenty of space.
- We had fun watching cheesy movies in the game room and playing board games in the living room
- We loved having so many large bathrooms for all of us to get ready (plenty of hot water)
- We had a massage therapist come to the house to spoil us (contact info was in the binder)
- Kitchen even had champagne glasses for our mimosas!
But the best part was the pool!! We lounged on the chaises, we floated in the pool, and we gossiped in the hot tub. We could have spent the whole weekend in the pool and on the porches.
The location was a perfect jumping off point for a few excursions. We headed to near by distilleries and breweries (Treaty Oak and Jester King were our favorites). We also found a shaded hiking trail within a 5 minute drive. Our favorite restaurant was Verde's Mexican Parrilla.
We celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday at the property. We have three grown children, and a five and 6 month old grandchild It was a great house for the family to spend time together. Our five year old grandchild loved the pool and slide. We spent one day at the wineries in Hye which was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend the house.
I love this house we had such a great time.
We had a wonderful family vacation at Roadrunner Ranch! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Our family of five loved the house. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the pool table, and playing Texas Hold em! We visited the University of Texas campus and drove to San Antonio to visit the Alamo, River Walk, and went to a Spurs basketball game. One of our favorite vacations! Thank you again!
We loved the spaciousness and privacy of Road Runner Ranch. We spent most of our time utilizing the chefs kitchen cooking breakfast and dinners on the outdoor grill, relaxing in the hot tub, playing pool/air hockey, (we plan to buy a similar air hockey!) and listening to our own music on the bluetooth sound bar. Having the Bluetooth speaker was great while prepping meals in the kitchen or playing games. We definitely recommend this house as your own source of entertainment and the master bedroom was a place you could retire for the night in absolute comfort - excellent mattress!
