Loved the water with the boat house amenities, the outdoor space for relaxing, the screened in back porch and the covered parking were awesome! The house was clean and comfortable. Had a wonderful time!

This home was perfect for our lil family holiday getaway. The spaciousness was exactly what we needed for our elderly parents, son and DIL and 2 lil's + us. The 2 MB with ensuite bathrooms + TVs + the TV in the main room and another in the playroom. All were used and perfect for Thankgiving Football games on one and Paw Patrol on the other + Trivia and kareoke in the evenings. We were blessed with a cold front that made coffee and a snuggle blanket on the back patio so enjoyable. Still able to enjoy everything the outdoors had to offer. Fishing off the back property, making sandcastles on the small private beach, and hot dog and marshmallow roasting in the outdoor fire pit. The fall colors were incredible. This home has almost everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We had some trouble with the stovetop - very modern - to us, lol( simple youtube video helped figure it out) The abundance of pans they are stocked with worked best on the stovetop, no need to bring any others. LOTS of towels (bath) and a few beach towels as well. One of the shower heads in the front MB didnt spray any hotwater. There are 2 shower heads in the walk in shower, so it wasnt a big deal. Standard Coffee Pot but no Keurig. Other than food the only thing we had to buy was a rolling pin. Thanksgiving pies! This home is very well stocked, layed out well and clean. Beds are comfy. Noisy pipes for water and flushing, but you get used to the noise pretty quickly. Saw lots of deer in front and back yard and a couple of otters. The water level is shallow for the most part but current moves swiftly. Enjoyed some kayaking on our last day. We brought our own fire wood since it had been raining, but saw some wood around the garage. The photos honestly do not due this place justice. The area is very quiet and private. We made wonderful memories and our 2 yr old grandbaby even stated every morning the he "LOVED THIS HOUSE!". Can't get any better than that.

Things to do in Kingsland, TX

Located in Llano County, TX, this tiny town outside of Austin is most well known for its water sports and other outdoor recreation along the Colorado River and Lake Lyndon B. Johnson (or Lake LBJ, as it is most commonly called). When you book a stay in our Lake LBJ rentals in Kingsland, you'll have a front-row seat to all the action! The Marina provides fun activities for the whole family, including the Granite Beach Waterpark, which is filled with inflatable water toys.

When you tire of the water, check out one of the many vineyards or play a round of golf at one of the local golf clubs. There are also many historical landmarks to visit in Kingsland, including the 1901 Antler's Inn, which was restored and re-opened in the 1990s. In the historical railroad district, you can visit the Franc Central Cafe Restaurant, or the home where the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed! Finally, relax on the local-favorite,"The Slab", an area of concrete that is warmed by the sun as the sere Llano River runs beneath it.

Day trips from Kingsland
