Our family loved #5 Inlet Cove! Well appointed, close to pool and beach as well as being on the river. Every night we sat and watched the sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Hope to return soon.
Cottage was clean when we arrived and the decor inside is pretty and beachy. The views of the river and marsh out back are breathtaking, you are literally right on the open river. Location is great, short walk to the pool, walkable to the beach access boardwalk, and bikeable to Freshfields for groceries. Walk/bike to amenities in the Kiawah Resort. You don't need a car which was wonderful.
Loved the location. Sunset is absolutely the best ever and we traveled with people who have traveled to Hawaii. I would prefer more area rugs in the bedrooms. We have stayed here before and brought a front door mat and a kitchen mat to cut down on sandy floors ourselves.
I've stayed at a lot of the homes in inlet cove and this was by far the best location. The home is on a private drive and has over 180 degree view of the river. We saw sunsets and dolphins and birds every evening. The pool is very close walk and the beach is a short bike ride away! We will definitely come back.
Location, location, location. View, view, view,
This was a great place to stay. The yard and views are unbeatable!
First time Kiawah-goers and we feel so lucky that we stumbled across this amazing home. The location is great, along the 'river' where we had deer grazing daily under our feet and dolphins cruising the river banks. It was a very short walk a great pool and an easy and beautiful bike ride to the beach. It was also a quick ride to West Beach Market (gift shop, ice cream, breakfast), and a slightly longer but still do-able bike ride for even my 7 year old to East Beach/Night Heron/Sanctuary hotel and Freshfields Market. We do not like to drive on vacation as we are city people and don't generally drive and this house made this mostly possible! The house itself was comfortable, clean, up to date and had a great beachy feel. There was plenty of towels and more than enough 'starter' supplies. We can't wait to go again and are lamenting that if we go with a bigger group we will have to stay somewhere different.
This cottage is stunning. We visited this cottage a couple of years ago. It has been completely redone on the inside and is totally updated and lovely. The porch has an amazing view - we saw several beautiful sunsets, dolphins every day, and even a bald eagle! The dock and pool are very close by, but you can't hear any noise from them. The General Store, Freshfields, and the beach are very easy bike rides from the house. The house is right out on a point so there's also a lot of privacy. My only complaint is that we had to leave!
We loved the peacefulness of a tree house. It was recently renovated with high end finishes. Quite wonderful. We had a great unencumbered view of the sunsets from the screened in porch. The warmth was welcome in March, maybe too hot in summer. We saw 2 dolphins. Slept with windows open and heard owls one night! Close to beach.
We really enjoyed our New Year's getaway. The home was great and the view was everything I hoped it would be from the pictures. We look forward to renting this unit again in the future.
Super cute cottage. Great location. Plenty of space for the family to spread out. Great crab fishing right off the seawall & morning visits from dolphins. Easy bike rentals thru Alligator bikes. Everyone at Kiawah was very helpful & friendly. We have already recommended this rental to friends.
It was fantastic!! We had a great week We loved staying on the river. Loved the location to the pool. Beach a little far but if you use the county park entrance there is a bath house which is great for kids. Bring your crab nets, your kayaks and your sunscreen. Enjoy
Great house, newly renovated, on the river, close to the beach. We'll be back.
