We stayed in this house for Thanksgiving week to visit my son and other family for the holiday. The house and the neighborhood have a lot of character. The front porch has a great view. The kitchen was a perfect size for us to have breakfast and some lunches and save some $$ on eating out. The house is removed enough from downtown touristy areas but close enough that you can get to them when you want. It is also close to Ballard for great shopping and restaurants. We did not use the patio area in the back due to the cold weather but it looks great for the warmer months. We did find it a bit tight to all hang out together inside when all 8 adults were in the house - the living room seats about 5 to 6 people and the downstairs TV area, only about 4. Overall, this house worked extremely well for our visit.

The location of this home is ideal. Within 2 blocks there is a lovely coffee shop (Bambino’s) great coffee and pastries. The home is decorated very cute. We had a couple of problems it they sent a repair person immediately. The only reAson I did not rate this a 5 is because most places we’ve stayed in the past have coffee available. ThT way you don’t have to wake, dress, and walk a block to get your first cup-a-joe. Opportunity for this place would be to provide the coffee. There was tea but I’m a coffee drinker. The home is beautiful and definitely classic. The chair orange chair in the living room needs the legs repairs, it is very unsafe. The upstairs bathroom doorknob handle was broken when we arrived. After the repair I got stuck in the bathroom because the doorknob wouldn’t turn. It all turned out fine. We were able to play games that were provided. The home was very clean. And while there were little issues it is well worth the cost, convenient location, and attentive management. It had everything my family needed. I highly recommend this lovely home.

My family really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. It was very nicely attired. I appreciated the amount of dinnerware--perfect for our family. The backyard was very relaxing and hosted an enjoyable barbecue.

Thank you so much for such a welcoming stay in your charming home. We had a great time. The place was easy to find, well-appointed, and close to everything we did. We enjoyed BBQing salmon burgers on the backyard grill, watching the sunset from the porch, and taking walks with my almost 2 yr old granddaughter. In fact, the neighbors were so nice. One neighbor across the street invited us over to play with his children. I would recommend your house to my friends and family, and hopefully we can stay again next time. Sincerely, Nancy

An amazing home! Loved the living room with fireplace, gorgeous and perfectly equipped and organized kitchen and spacing of rooms on first floor and basement suite. Private Backyard with grill and seating was a huge plus! Thank you for a wonderful stay in the Pacific Northwest.

We stayed here with our two kids and it was very clean and family friendly. Nice location with little yard and patio in the back. We used the grill but there was no patio dining area which was a bummer. Also the tv was in the basement area and it would of been better upstairs so the kids could watch a show while we sat on the porch or cooked (ages 5 and 2). The beds were made up well but were not very comfortable. Overall it suited the needs for our visit to Seattle and we’d recommend it.

The place was immaculate, clean and quiet. The four of us (my Dad, my two daughters and I) were very comfortable and had all the necessities for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was filled with untencils, whereas we cooked several meals. (Buying a few more dishcloths would be a good idea.) The beds were all very comfortable, though the queen on the 1st floor was squeaky. I'd also suggest on the basement floor, making the divider between the storage space and living space more solid. We loved staying here and hope to stay again! Thank you.

We stayed in this home for 4 nights while visiting my son who lives close by. It was a great home for us, 3 adults and 2 children! The beds were comfortable, the living spaces were great and the kitchen was very nice. It was not too far from downtown and Seattle Center and very close to Edmonton where we went to go whale watching. The house was very clean and well stocked with necessities. We will be back.

Our two young families enjoyed this house over Labor Day weekend as our base camp for exploring Seattle. The Phinney Ridge neighborhood offered us what we needed (groceries, pizza, burgers, pastries, coffee) as long as we were up for a little hike (those hills!!). We were close enough to get into downtown Seattle by car service in 10-15 minutes, but could really relax on the back patio by the end of the day. The house itself is older (squeaky floors) but extremely clean. The kitchen was well-stocked, linens were soft and plentiful, cable tv had on-demand for our kids' favorite shows, and wifi when we needed it. We didn't end up using the bbq grill, but it was great to have the option available. We enjoyed the front porch for coffee in the morning, and back deck was a favorite spot later in the evening. We had a great time and definitely recommend it for young families or anyone looking for a cozy spot to stay just outside of downtown Seattle!
This house is comfortable, clean and cosy. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, the natural light is beautiful, beds are comfortable and it has an easy flow. It's near bus lines, fun restaurants and on a quiet street. We loved staying here!

This was a great property centrally located and within walking distance to cafes and pubs. Parking was good and the street was quiet. The kitchen was modern but not well stocked. To prepare dinner for 6 it lacking a salad bowl/serving platter and chopping Board. Also a cupboard for food storage.

We had an excellent stay at the Classic Craftsman. It was our son's graduation from UW and we had a houseful of family with us. The home was perfect - immaculate when we arrived; well stocked kitchen so we could have lovely family dinners; log in the fireplace which we enjoyed one evening; gorgeous patio out back for everyone lounging over morning coffee; front porch for evening drinks; and we loved the neighborhood, visiting 8 Limbs Yoga and Ken's grocery several times. We will be back!
