I loved the cabin and it was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the full kitchen and sudden link tv. The location was perfect for me. At first I was concerned with the bar but I couldn't even hear the music unless I opened my window. I would have appreciated a dead bolt or at least a chain lock for more safety. For more convenience the ice box doors need moved to open towards the sink. (not a big deal just wanted to let you know) The kitchen window was quite a challenge as once opened it was (almost) impossible to close! I had to climb up on the counter and with all my might try to close it. (just fyi)
so anyway, not to take away from the awesome time I had and how much I enjoyed the cabin!!!! Mary

This is a handsomely appointed cabin on a secluded working ranch, the owners are awesome people and even gave us food and drinks when we lamented about the arduous trek up the mountain!

We had a great time, the cabin was close enough to town and beach without being to close. The inside of the cabin was perfect just as pictured however the outside was not as expected but not manageable.

This location was perfect. Not far from town, pretty quiet, and down the street from a beautiful huge beach. Perfect location too from the highway to shoot up to the Redwoods.

We were making our way down the coast highway from Portland to San Francisco and this was one of our overnight stops. The cabin was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. It would have been perfect had we been staying a week or more. We went to the tavern and had a drink before heading out to find dinner and that was a great little place too. There was an issue with the water prior to our arrival and Charlie called to tell us all about it and allow us to change cabins, if we chose to (we did not) and everything was just fine. Charlie was great! Thank you for the local coffee and cookies, they were both delicious!

The room was nice, obviously had been redone recently, there was still drill dust in the cabinets from where they had been hung and the room smelled like fresh construction. The only negatives that really stood out to me were that the bathroom door couod not be shut enough to latch, didnt matter how hard you pushed on it. The bed was extremely firm which was fine the first night but had both my wife and i limping by the 2nd night and there appears to be an ant problem in the house we were there less than an hour and found them all over the floor of the kitchenette. That said though it wasnt bad, noone bugged us, even the bar wasnt terribly rowdy. It wasnt all that close to the attractions we were there to see, but then again nothing in northern CA is all that close to one another. About an hour to trees of mystery and 2 to Cobfusion hill... It worked for what we needed.
