Relaxing seaside condo with a hot tub and plenty of room for everyone!

Boasting covered decks, a private hot tub, and four spacious bedrooms, this beautiful Gearhart vacation rental awaits the perfect family or friend getaway with room for up to 10 guests!

Set a short distance north of Gearhart Golf Links, and a mile and a half east of Del Ray State Park, which offers beach access, there's an activity to appeal to every guest nearby. And you can easily spend rainy days peacefully relaxing with loved ones in this open home playing board games and watching movies.

With each piece of furniture perfectly placed upon stunning pine floors, you'll feel right at home with comforts like WiFi, a washer and dryer, and gas fireplaces. (Please note that because the floors are natural pine, they do scratch easily, so please remove your shoes and make yourself at home.)

Through the front door is a cozy sitting room, great for getting some work done at the small desk or catching up in a quiet space with your travel companions. Past the French doors is an open deck for endless nights laughing and chatting under the stars or soaking in the hot tub.

Flip a movie or show on the flatscreen TV in the living room and settle in to the white sectional for a relaxing night in. Cable, a Blu-ray DVD player, and Netflix streaming are all provided for your viewing pleasure.

Surrounded by eight stunning woven chairs, the dining room table is great for more than just family meals. Pull out a deck of cards, or have a craft night after dinner is cleaned up. The padded window seats behind the table are set beneath large windows, great for cozying up with a good book one afternoon.

Across from the table is a full kitchen, which has everything your own kitchen has and more! Rich wood cabinets contrast beautifully against the light pine floors and the grey countertops. Major appliances are provided, along with numerous small appliances, like a microwave, toaster, blender, coffeemaker, dishwasher, and more!

With a lovely wicker sleigh frame holding a queen-size bed, the first bedroom will make any guest feel lucky to stay there. The second bedroom has some tropical charm and features a second queen-size bed. Brightly linened, two twin beds occupy the third bedroom, and the impressive master bedroom offers a queen-size bed and is set upstairs. Up to eight guests can sleep comfortably, but feel free to use the ample floor space for air mattresses for the remaining two guests.

Two bedrooms have attached bathrooms (one downstairs and the master bedroom upstairs). There is also a downstairs bathroom with a lovely tiled stand-alone shower, and a half bathroom at the top of the stairs.

Head upstairs to the open balcony to spend warm days out on the deck eating snacks at the patio set, and grilling on the gas barbecue.

Play a round of golf each morning before taking the family to the beach. Learn to surf, kayak, and paddleboard. Build sand castles, bury each other in sand, and simply soak up those rare but divine sunny days. Play basketball and tennis at the courts located about a mile away. Shop at local boutiques about three miles south in downtown Gearhart. Seaside and its famous Promenade are five miles south and make for a great window shopping and eating at delicious restaurants.

Truly enjoy your beach getaway by booking this impeccable Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental.

My family loved this home. It was well stocked and had plenty of space for everyone. It's located in a beautiful community right off the beach.
Terence R. Jan 2019
A place that you can live in from the moment you arrive. The beach, which is breathtaking is minutes away and you can walk for miles just drinking in the ocean air. But, ten minutes away are shops, restaurants and movie theaters, but you would never know

The house was perfect for our group. Thank you for your wonderful house.
Janet B. Sep 2018
Great layout, with beautiful decor, had all the amenities you'd expect, and loved the spacious decks. Perfect for larger groups needing a quiet, relaxing, get away at the coast.

Really enjoyed our stay!

Clean, nicely decorated and perfect size for our family
Stephanie B. Apr 2018
Perfect for our needs! We had a blast & enjoyed the comforts of the home.
Timothy W. Jan 2018
There was no firewood or propane in the grill, but otherwise an amazing location. Is technically oceanview, but only with good eyesight. Very nice decor and spacious.
Monee J. Jan 2018
Gearhart is a cute tiny town that offers a great access point to the northern Oregon coast. 15 minutes from Astoria to the north and Cannon Beach to the south, Seaside is 5 minutes away and quaint little Gearhart will charm you. This house was wonderful in a great little gated neighborhood with nearby beach access. Loved our stay!
SUE K. Jan 2018
We were expecting a more spacious home than it turned out to be. Kitchen was smaller than we would have liked as we did all of our cooking there. Nice having so many bathrooms!

Great place for a large family or a girls weekend. I would go in the summer. Much more to do at that time of year.
Rene L. Nov 2017
We had a girls' weekend at this beautiful home. There was more than enough space for all 6 of us. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus as we were all ready for some serious relaxation. We loved that the beach was so close and that shopping and dining were only a few minutes' drive away. We rarely stay at the same house twice, but this is one I hope to return to. Beautiful and quiet with all the comforts we needed!

Overall we were very pleased with the home. The master bedroom, the kitchen, the dining room, and the living/TV room are all on one floor, which is the second floor of the home. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor where the main entry to the home is located. There is also a "parlor" on the first floor that has a TV. If you want to get away from the main area, this is the place to go. The hot tub is accessed through the parlor, and there is no direct access from the master bedroom; you must walk through the house.
The kitchen has everything you will need for cooking. The coffee maker is a standard drip machine, not a Keurig, so don't bother bringing your k-cups. The BBQ is huge.
The hot tub worked without issue and was clean.
Most people felt the beds were too soft. All had pillow tops. This is personal preference and should not be seen as a negative.
In order to access the beach, you can walk to Butterfly Lane and down to a boardwalk that takes you to the beach. Or you can drive to Highlands Lane and take your vehicle right on to the beach.
The adjacent golf course is a 9 hole walking course. It is perfectly acceptable with very fast greens.
This house was perfect for three sets of adults and one child. The room with two single beds could have accommodated one more person. I would not suggest any more than this as there would not be any privacy for any additional people.
All of the floors are wood, including the stairs, so be aware of the potential noise.
The refrigerator has an ice maker, but if you are planning on using a lot of ice, bring your own.
Overall, I would highly recommend this home. It's especially nice of you have a large party but want to opportunity to get away from everyone. There is plenty of square footage to find a quiet spot away from everyone else. Would definitely rent again.

Clean, beautiful and relaxing place to spend a few days. We would go back in a heartbeat.

I rented this house over my wedding weekend in Gearhart as a spot for me and my bridesmaids to stay and get ready and it was PERFECT! The house is in great condition and beautiful. The big open common areas were great for us to take photos in and to hang out together and have dinner. The bedroom and bath layout was so perfect for what we needed. The master bath upstairs is large and full of natural light, so it was a great spot for all the bridesmaids to do hair and makeup in, together without having to all spread out around the house. The fact that this house has 3 full baths is amazing, we had 6 women getting ready didn't even have to make a shower schedule! I would definitely stay at this house again if I am at the Oregon coast with a group.
Kristen B. Aug 2017
The kitchen and living area are up stairs, so plan on going up and down often. The stone stairs leading up to the front door are very poorly lit, dangerous if going out at night. Beautiful house, great neighborhood. King sized bed in the master bdrm. Would be nice. And small tv. Stocking the bathroom with blow dryer would also be nice. Loved the deck off the living room.
Jonathan S. Aug 2017
Loved the location. Near seaside, but on a more secluded beach area.
Deena S. Jul 2017
We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Gearhart. We were 2 families with 5 kids total, ages 5-9. There was plenty of space in the house and we enjoyed the hot tub. The house is very clean. The beach is very close and we loved watching fireworks and having a bonfire on the 4th of July. The house really only sleeps 8. There are 4 bedrooms with either queen or twin beds in each. We used an air mattress we brought from home since we were 9 people total.
Charles C. Jun 2017
Had a wonderful week. Everything was has it should have been. Stay with another couple and had our son and his wife over for a couple of days. Lots of room, great kitchen, loved the decks and the outside grill. Really nice being inside a gated community.
Amy W. May 2017
Our family loved this home for our weekend getaway to the coast - we felt very comfortable there and would like to return in the future. Because we had nice weather, we used the upper deck, BBQ and outside hot tub which were a bonus. The extra touches from Vacasa were appreciated - toiletries, beach towels, canvas bag with bottle opener, cards and "hide it" game (that I had fun playing with my young nephew). The house was very clean and tidy, as well as decorated in a tasteful but fun way. The beds were comfortable and the floor plan gave us opportunities for both privacy and togetherness. Our only challenges were figuring out how to use the television (despite the instructions) and the walk to the beach was a bit too far/difficult for our 70something family member. But she enjoyed walking around the neighborhood which is filled with beautiful well-taken care of homes.
Hilary A. May 2017
This wasn't a baby friendly house. We found the master bedroom on the top floor an inconvenience to keep an eye on our kids at night, so we slept downstairs. So I was bummed I didn't get to fully enjoy the house because I was chasing my clumsy new walking baby all over the house that has only hardwood floors throughout. Great for when our kids are older, but wasn't as easy on us as other houses we've stayed at with our young family.
Beautiful, wonderful location and we enjoyed the Elk and deer that came up to the house and night and in morning. Hot tub was fantastic. Overall great! Just not with a baby/toddler.
Manager response:
We apologize if the home's layout came as a surprise. We highly recommend guests take our virtual tour, browse the photos, and carefully read the description so they can have a good idea of what to expect from their rental. Thank you!
Aaron G. May 2017
With Cannon Beach and Astoria an easy car ride away, you have access to much of what the northern coast of Oregon can provide! Coupled with a comfortable house that easily slept 4 adult couples in their own bedrooms makes this home awesome for groups of most sizes.
Donna M. May 2017
The spaces in this fabulous beach house were well seperated. For families, ample room for gathering areas abounds,it is very quiet, bedding nice. Proximity to beachfront fun very close.
Eliese B. Mar 2017
We stayed in this house with our friends. My husband and I have an almost three year old and a 9 month old. Our friends had a 7, 5, and 3 year old. There was a bed for everyone and plenty of space to let the kids play and still relax as adults. Loved that the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc and that there was a large table we could all fit at. Distance to the beach is great! Saw deer and elk during or stay. Relaxing in the hot tub at night after the kids went to bed was wonderful with the cool air. We had a blast!
Rachel M. Feb 2017
Gearhart is a super sweet town, and this house was a perfect spot for us; we had a really fun girls' weekend and enjoyed not having a care in the world for a few days!
Kristen E. Feb 2017
Lovely home. Open and comfortable. Quiet gated community. Short walk to the beach.
Hobie R. Feb 2017
Go enjoy a very nice rental home in a gated community. Quick walk to the beach that is loaded with Sand Dollars. Great kitchen and deck layout for preparing food. No unhappy surprises, a very nicely equipped rental home.
Annalee B. Feb 2017
We visited The Highlands Gearheart Beach House for our annual January beach trip and could not have been happier with the home! The house is in beautiful condition and the decor is modern but very charming. The photos do not do justice to how open and lovely the home is. The directions and info provided were extremely straight forward and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again or recommend to a friend!
Richard B. Nov 2016
A very nice house that has great amenities along with space to accommodate 8 adults. It made our couples get away a great one.
Linda M. Nov 2016
My friends and & stayed at the house in Gearhart and had a wonderful relaxing time. The home is very well equipped and provided everything that we needed.
Donna Y. Oct 2016
Lovely Home, great time ,even when they cancelled the 10 K in Astoria, we were cozy with the hot tub, good book and glass of wine.
Virgina A. Sep 2016
Great house; very comfortable and clean.
Megan M. Sep 2016
beautiful decor and wonderful convenient deck. The home's layout is great. We had two families and had plenty of room and space. The neighborhood is lovely. Bring any and all items you will want for the beach.
Alana G. Aug 2016
Lovely home and everything we needed for a fun weekend!
Alicia D. B. Aug 2016
Had a great time.
Jim K. Jul 2016
We stayed over the 4th of July and had a great family experience. Ability to drive right onto the beach and build a bonfire couldn't have been easier. Kite flying was a huge hit with the teenagers. We wish we knew the golf course was right out of the backyard - we'll bring clubs next time. House was very clean and had everything we needed.
Elizabeth R. Jun 2016
We came into town for a wedding and decided to get a rental house with a few friends. The home was beautiful, we loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings. The guys loved that the home was located on a golf course. We would definitely come back to this home to stay, next time I would want to stay more than 2 nights so that we could have more relaxing beach time. There was also a herd of elk that wandered around, it was really cool to watch them from the top deck. Five star home for sure!!
Kathleen P. Jun 2016
We had a fabulous time, the weather was beautiful and the house's deck\patio has a stunning view of the mountains, small view through the trees of the ocean. House is very comfortable. We would come back again.
Kerry B. Jun 2016
This house was so beautiful in a tranquil relaxing gated community. Furnishings are high end, it was clean and "coastal living" magazine decorated. Large deck with a fantastic grill plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable with a group. Great cooking pans, platters for serving and a large refrigerator to store all the food! The Del Ray beach is within biking distance (or a nice jog). This house was everything we wanted it to be, great quiet escape from the city. Would absolutely come again.
Linda H. May 2016
There are stairs, 14, to get to the kitchen and gathering room. Beware!
Joyce D. May 2016
We had a great time while staying at this lovely home. It was a little further out of town then I thought it would be. I thought we would have more of a view of the ocean too. We could hear it and the view to the east was pretty wonderful. But just a peak at the ocean was all we could see. . If you're looking for that view you need to look elsewhere. But if that doesn't matter & you just looking for a good time with friends or family in a special venue, then this your place.
Chris W. May 2016
We stayed here for a commissioning service at Camp Rilea. It was only about a 12 minute drive to the camp. The house was roomy and nice and short walk or drive to the beach. We were here with four children and two grandpas, and we'd stay here again if we came back. The downstairs is pretty chilly, and three of the four bedrooms are downstairs. Wasn't an issue for us, but something to keep in mind. It's a good house for weekend coast getaways. We'd stay there again, and next time will bring our golf clubs! I didn't realize there was a cool little golf course that snakes through this neighborhood.
Laurie R. Apr 2016
Nice place.
Brodie H. Apr 2016
Should have brought golf clubs for the little golf course (Highlands) that snakes through this community. Easy beach access. Lots to do in the area. The hot tub is busted but I think they removed it from the listing.
Angie E. Mar 2016
This home is set in a gated community with a beautiful walkway to the beach just down the road. The home was kid friendly and had everything you would need. The linens were very nice and cozy. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
Michele T. Mar 2016
Delightful beach house, comfortable beds, beautifully decorated, great location.
Kate . Mar 2016
A beautiful home & layout for a large family -good separation of space for teenagers, children & adults. We did endless crafts, easy walk to the beach (Butterfly Rd. to wooden dock), rode bikes, scouters, played tennis in the rain, drove the SUVs on the beach, golfed --morning walks in the sleepy gated community, gazed at the moon, BBQ'd on deck, roasted smores in the fireplace, played guitar & sang by the fire, Easter egg hunts, indoor treasure hunt & the last night witnessed local herd of elk in the grassy area behind the home - the upper gated deck was ideal for the kids to see nature close up! Kids said best Spring Break ever!!!
Fallon L. Mar 2016
The house was beautiful - clean, organized, and in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. We were disappointed that a hot tub was advertised (the photo has since been deleted) and when we arrived it was not in working order. Though VaCasa did refund our hot tub fee that we paid, it would've been nice to know that before our arrival. We had picked this house based on that it had a hot tub available.
Molly & Ken R. Feb 2016
Vacasa exceeded my expectations with their customer service when booking our house at the beach. They are kind, friendly, and personable.
Mary M. Feb 2016
beautiful house; far walk to the beach
