Luxury 4-level condo w/ panoramic views of KT and Red Dog!

This wonderful Squaw Valley vacation rental will end your search for the best California vacation destination. Don’t pass up the chance to stay in this completely remodeled, four-level condo. Gorgeous, panoramic views of Squaw Valley Village and the surrounding mountains are enough to keep even the most seasoned traveler feeling like they’re living in luxury.

Just about 110 miles from Sacramento and 45 miles from Reno, Squaw Valley Village was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics for a reason – beautiful mountain views, exciting slopes, and plenty of shops and eateries make it prime territory for a winter retreat, though make sure to bring your 4x4 with you to make it safely to your rental on the snowy roads!

Step through the front door and hang out on the main level, relaxing in front of the gas fireplace in the living room. Plenty of natural wood and a warm color scheme will put you right at home.

The large built-in seating wraps around the entire room, so gather around the flatscreen TV with a bowl of popcorn and bring your favorite DVDs to watch. Cable is even available so you can drink a mug of coffee and watch the morning news. Plenty of books for adults and toys and games for children are provided throughout the home, so everyone will have something fun to do to pass the time.

The lure of the expansive deck will lead you outside from your comfortable place on the couch, but don’t worry, because there are plenty of spots on the lovely, shaded patio table that looks like something out of an English garden tea party. In the summertime, an outdoor gas grill is great for barbecues in the sunshine!

Inside, the modern kitchen is just waiting for you to cook a delicious feast for the group. Enjoy elegant red countertops, glass-paneled wood cabinets, hanging light fixtures above the kitchen island, and modern stainless steel appliances while you prepare something to eat. When the timer goes off to signal that dinner is ready, have everyone gather at the eight-person dining table or the two-person breakfast bar to enjoy the meal. Of course, there’s always more seating for the group in the adjacent living room, and even more outside on a nice day. After you’re done, load up the dishwasher to make cleaning up a breeze!

Four bedrooms plus a glorious loft and three full bathrooms will accommodate up to 12 lucky Squaw Valley vacationers! From the kitchen, a unique spiral staircase leads up to the fourth-floor loft area with a queen-size bed, high ceilings, and windows with the most amazing, panoramic views of the area you’ll ever see.

Head down the stairs for even more luxury. Three bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed, one with two twins, and one with a pair of two-twin bunk beds) all have comfortable mattresses, warm decorations, and plenty of space for the whole group. A full bathroom on this level will give guests easy access to the shower in the morning. If it gets a bit crowded, don’t worry: You’ll also find a full bathroom with a shower on the main floor.

On the very bottom level, you’ll find a luxury suite/den with a queen-size bed, sectional couch, TV, and full bathroom with a shower. If you can, you’ll want to snag this spacious room for your own!

You’ll also have a private washer/dryer in your rental if you need it to keep your things clean after spending a day out on the slopes! And busy travelers who need to bring some of their work with them will be happy to know that free WiFi is provided on the property.

Your prime location in this peaceful, quiet neighborhood makes this wonderful rental great for families. Only a 10-minute walk away from the village, you’ll be a short stroll away from dining and shopping during the summer. In the wintertime, you’ll be able to walk to the slopes for skiing and the tram that will take you to the mountaintop!

Enjoy all of the fantastic things to see and do here in Squaw Valley Village. Golfers will love the proximity to the Resort at Squaw Creek, just a five-minute drive away, while horseback riders will want to check out Alpine Meadows Stables, the next valley over, about a 10-minute drive away.

In the wintertime, winter sports call many visitors to Squaw Valley. If you’re no exception, plenty of skiing is available, and you only have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the lifts. If you’ve already spent a day skiing at Squaw Valley and want to try something new, shuttles to Alpine Meadows leave every half hour. Olympics aficionados will also be quite happy with the historical relevance of the area for their favorite winter sports (the 1960s Winter Olympics were held here).

Bring those swimsuits along for the ride: in the summertime, it’s only a short drive to Lake Tahoe for swimming, splashing, and summer fun!

Whether it’s time for a winter wonderland or a summertime soiree, you’ll want to book your stay at this beautiful North Lake Tahoe vacation rental today!

We were blessed with a ton of snow so being able to walk to the village was a plus...not ski in ski out, but totally walkable, especially if driving weather was rough. How was well appointed and very comfortably accommodated our party of 5 adults 2 children. If planning a larger group make sure bed and bath configuration works for your group. I definitely recommend this condo.

Great home and so close to the village. My family stayed here for my sisters wedding at Squaw Valley. It’s clean with plenty of amenities. Views from the deck are beautiful! Sleeps 12 but the gathering area could be a little tight for 12 adults. But I’d definitely recommend this property.

Great location with great views. Nice kitchen and dining area. Rooms are small, but it does well accommodating a group of up to 12. Caution: absolutely have to have 4WD to ensure you can get there when snow is on the roads. And parking limited to 4 cars typically.

There were multiple hairs in the upstairs bed. Needed to wash sheets before sleeping.
Manager response:
We are very sorry housekeeping missed getting the hair out of the sheets. Sometimes hair gets gathered in the sheets while getting dried. Again, we apologize for the matter.

Met all expectations

The variety of rooms and beds is great for large or multiple families.

Great location, inside the unit things seems to be a little tired and in need of replacement. The hot water ran out after 2-3 showers and did not replenish quickly. Tough with a house full of guests, half the showers were cold.
Manager response:
We apologize for any cold showers taken during this visit. As of May 2018 the owner has upgraded the hot water heater to add a recirculating pump so there should not be any hot water issues moving forward. Thank you!

We were able to ski a lot of double black diamonds.

I received a phone call from the owner our second day at the property asking if the deck had been cleared of snow. It had not but with the recent and amount of snow fall I didn't expect it to be. I took this to be extremely courteous and a very stand up thing to do. I understand her concern with it being done and is getting what we payed for. To be honest I nor my family really cared. The place was great, clean, and had an amazing view. We will stay there again in the future, thanks!

We stayed here over New Year's and enjoyed the cabin. Multiple rooms with plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group of adults and young adults. The heating system was awesome, works very well. The family room is slightly smaller than appeared in pictures but comfortable. Kitchen was great, we cooked several large meals and there are plenty of pots, pans and cook ware. The cabin is close Squaw resort, the only draw back being a steep icy road you have to walk down to get to the resort.

We were amazed on how well stocked the cabin was! Kids enjoyed the books, toys, and dvds. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had a great time there!

Our party of 10 had a fantastic time in this cozy 4-floor condo! It met all of our needs and we were very close to the village. We had all of the cooking equipment and supplies we needed to prepare meals. Bathrooms were clean. We had a lot of fun and It was hard to leave, but we'll be back some day!

We were a group of friends coming for a destination wedding called off. Still, hiking, sightseeing and good times with friends were no problem. We loved the house: unbelievable view and location, deck, large gathering table and kitchen, cozy but spacious living room, décor. A few issues-- a broken microwave, unusable WIFI for Iphones, and confusion on what to do with recyclable garbage--will hopefully be remedied for the next guests.

Nice! Kitchen and baths very well stocked.
Would return.

The location of the chalet was absolutely incredible! We were only a 5 min drive or 10 min walk from Squaw Village, which was perfect for our ski weekend. The chalet sits on the hill above the main parking lot of Squaw overlooking the slopes and mountains. The condo is more like a town house and does not connect to the other condos, which was nice. The kitchen is also well stocked with pots, pans, cookware, etc. which was very helpful to feed our large group. It was exactly what we were expecting from the website description and pictures. We were very pleased with the accommodations! We highly recommend staying here for location alone.
