I think with expectations set right this is a great house. Semi-open kitchen that is decently stocked (missing cutting boards oddly, as well as trays for baking anything in the oven). Both bathrooms are really nicely appointed and the rooms are cute. Internet was an issue for us especially without any cell phone service. The app mentioned it might be spotty, but we were hoping it'd be ok for a few work calls. Unfortunately it's really only enough for email and we ended up having to drive back home the days we had calls. However, a group coming to pretty much off the grid would not find this an issue. We had rented it through the week hoping to have an easier drive, so we took a risk, and while we wish the house could have invested in better internet, it's mainly more something to be aware of. The other issue was that the neighbors we using what we think was the houses backyard as well as driveway as theirs. There were large groups of kids and adults who would come every afternoon and sled and play, make videos, hangout, be a bit loud. We don't mind kids or even company, but the few times we would brave leaving the house to take our dog out to pee when they were around, they either refused to acknowledge us even if we waved or said good morning, or would just give us mean stares. We felt very uncomfortable during the day, and as if we were intruding. They were also completely surrounding all sides of the house and at every window, so if they were out, they would be looking straight inside, so we'd even have to close some of the windows during the day. Once it was evening we felt free to explore outside or take the car down out of the driveway, but it was very awkward to say the least... I feel like if there was just some sort of note about what the expectation was on sharing the space, it would have been less weird/uncomfortable.
Manager response:
Hi, Joyce! The property has ordered new kitchenware and will place it all in the home once it arrives. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to see you again!

West shore living at its finest when spending evening amongst the trees at Blue Chalet.
Perfectly located at the end of a quiet cut de sac, this how offers plenty of privacy and outdoor space for your morning coffee and evening night caps. The first bit and hot tub are an added bonus to an already exceptional stay. Andrew is very friendly and full of local knowledge to help you plan your ideal vacation. Will definitely be back! `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

Had a great time at the Tahoe Blue cabin!
Awesome west shore location central to a ton of fun activities. The deck, hot tub, and hammock all face a huge private lot with tons of trees and a creek that runs through. The cabin was very fun, clean and had plenty of space for our group. Would love to com back again! `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

Andrew’s blue cabin was what I needed. Perfect location, all the right amenities, very clean, and looked recently updated. Great place to escape the city and relax in the mountains. `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

I absolutely loved my stay in this cozy blue cabin! The area offers a lot of privacy and tons of open space. It’s located in a quiet cul-de-sac and is walking distance to Chambers beach. The backyard has a hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, and hammock. Location was perfect for a quick mountain getaway. Close to Chandler’s Landing and the Rubicon Train, plus the house backs up to an unobstructed nature preserve. The house was clean (looked recently remodeled) and had everything we needed from the washer/dryer to the hot tub in the back.
The host was super helpful and responsive and even gave us some local tips and tricks.
Would definitely stay here again. `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

Andrew’s place is phenomenal. The property is opened up so much that if feels like you are in a secluded wooded area. The hot tub, 10 feet from the deck and within the wooded area, was just amazing and delightful. The proximity to Lake Tahoe beach next to Chambers landing bar is literally walking distance! From his deck, you can throw a rock at the Rubicon Trail where I went hiking, Bike riding, and sight seeing.
This place is amazing! You will have an incredible time there. I`m glad I booked this property and plan on going back! I`d recommend you book now before someone else does! `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

Amazing retreat in the woods of Tahoe! Quite recreate makes you feel like you’re away from it all, but still extremely close to the lake, beaches, and local restaurants! After a day of exploring it was great to come back, fire up the grill, and relax in the hot tub. `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

Super cool cabin on the end of a private street right by the Rubicon trailhead. Great hot tub in the woods with a creek running through the property. Perfect location on west shore. Would absolutely stay at Andrew’s cabin again, highly recommended! `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

This place was awesome. It was clean and the backyard and hot tub added to the experience. We had some prints list us that were arelao in the area that had two kids under the age of 10. The quiet end of street cul de sac without through traffic was a plus. We were originally lookin for something a bit out of the way, but this place was actually extremely close to the lack and a few great restaurants, while still feeling private and a good escape from “hot all!” Andrew took care and added some great touches that made us feel welcome. We will be back! `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

`This was an awesome cabin in a perfect location at the end of a cup-de-sac. We saw all sorts of wildlife in the neighborhood. The are is secluded, yet close enough to town to get any essentials you might need. There are many running/biking trails that start right at the end of the street. We used the hot bu both morning and night, which was an excellent way to unwind after a day down at the lake. Chambers Landing is a great little beach with a. Bar, and it’s right around the corner. I will definitely be coming back here. I’m sure this area has just as much to offer in winter as it does int he summer. When we started looking for a weekday getaway to Tahoe our expectations were low. We had stayed at other Airbnb’s in the area and were not impressed. We took a chance at what looked to be a hot new spot on the west side.
Our expectations were far surpassed by the stylish yet “home-y” feel to this cabin. The cabin was spotless. Two full bathrooms with spacious showers were a nice touch to the three bedroom cabin. But the piece de resistance… was the hot tub. Right off the deck with bistro lights to guide you along the stepping path, that are made from tree trunks! Will definitely be going back but have a feeling this place id going to book up quick.`This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`
