Stroll around the corner to meet up with the Hammond Trail for morning walks and incredible nightly sunsets on the Mad River. In this spot between Arcata (six miles south) and Trinidad (eight miles north), you can get out and explore with ease with Mad River Beach (four miles), Cal Poly Humboldt (six miles), Trinidad State Beach (nine miles), and Redwood State and National Parks (28 miles) all close by.
