It was great for our dogs and 1 level. A little noise from the highway, but it was great access to the highway

There were only 3 of us, but 8 would still be more than comfortable here. It was a nice place overall, the pictures don't do it justice! The only things I can think of to make it better would be heated floors or large rugs for chilly days, especially since they want people to remove their shoes inside the house, and maybe one or two more TV's. Something not clear around the shower would also be good.

We liked the location - just south of town and even though it was just off of 191, the main road, the fenced in yard was awesome for our pups - it was very welcoming for our doggies, and we loved the welcoming chocolates for humans. The kitchen is a great size to prep and cook in, and the round table in the kitchen was perfect to play cards.

The Trading Post guest house is a wonderful place to call home while in Moab.

The house is very spacious, the bed was quite comfortable, the amenities were excellent and very well thought out. We appreciated how dog-friendly the house is, too!

We'll definitely be staying here again the next time we go through Moab.

We've stayed here three years in a row now and we love it! Great location close to downtown and trails! Also nice to have the fenced yard in case you want to bring your furry family members. The house is very unique and has room for a large group!

Very nice , outside of the city a bit, great views, spotless , lots of space!
Chris W. Sep 2021
The house was clean. Everything worked. It was just what we expected.

We absolutely loved staying in this house. There’s plenty of space for everyone! The decor is quirky and fun! The house had everything we needed and was only a short drive to downtown. My kids played hide and seek for hours in this house, even my 16 year old! We had several family meals and family games at the large dining table! My only concern was the outside garbages we’re not emptied on Tuesday so we had no where to put our garbage when the inside cans were full. I would definitely recommend staying at The Trading Post to anyone traveling to Moab!!

This home is so cute! There is art in every room and something new to discover every day, from details in the tile work to small statuettes peeking at you from the exposed wooden beams in the dining area. This large home is comfortable for large groups to spread out it, you can have one group in the living room admiring the views of the Spanish Valley, and another lounging in the TV room. The shower is AMAZING and the climate control keeps you cool. The one-bay garage is extra-long and was great to keep our boats in while we were on other adventures.

The beds were super comfortable, and everything was clean. The kitchen is well stocked, and our dogs absolutely loved the backyard. We are already planning on coming back in the future!

The decor and layout of the house was excellent. Well stocked with everything you need. Check in and out was simple. The air in most of the house was great but did lack a bit in the back bedroom though it was 105 degrees outside everyday so it's understandable. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

This place was so neat! It was huge and you could really tell it use to be a trading post. The shower was wonderful and the beds were super comfy. The house was close enough to Moab for all our adventures, and we even walked next door for dinner one night and had a great time. Our dog enjoyed all the space and ran around in the dirt out back. Highly recommend!

Quirky, fun, hiking trail in back, cool restaurant next door. We all loved it

Beautiful and unique. Very well kept and clean.

This was our second year staying at the Trading Post. This home is one of a kind with its unique rooms, and stone, wood, and tile accents. There are great trails behind the home and a large fenced backyard for the pups. The full kitchen means you can bring your own food and cook when you don’t feel like leaving this charming oasis. The property management company is also very responsive and helpful if you need anything. We will definitely be back!

California and Colorado quarantining family members reunited here. So great to have the yard for the dog and really super kitchen stuff (great pans and sharp knives) since we weren’t doing dining out. Make sure to bring your own oils and foils.

Be aware that it’s on the highway but the a/c masks those sounds.

Just one small strange thing:

spacious clean and relaxing. would love to come again.

We really enjoyed our stay, however the information provided by the rental company in the home wasn’t up to date and we’ve been unable to contact anyone with Vacasa about issues we encountered.

Overall, the house was perfect for us and we enjoyed our time there.

Had an awesome stay at this property. Close to food and all activities Moab had to offer. Hidden Cuisine right next door was the best for breakfast/brunch. Food was amazing and staff super friendly. Home is very spacious, has everything you need for a great getaway. Huge garage for utv or atv rentals and your own vehicle. Plenty of parking around house as well. Loved the antique look from the outside, knowing it was a trading post back in the day made you feel like you were in the wild Wild West. The only issue was that one side of the house was cooler than the other, didn’t bother me much, still had a great stay and will rent again.
Rebecca H. Oct 2019
The home was very comfortable and unique heating and cooling works well but we did notice quite a bit of road noise.
The garage was so perfect for our dirtbikes!!
I got to feed the pig next door lol, he was so cute!
Julie B. Oct 2019
The house was spacious, colorful, and had plenty of charm. We enjoyed the outdoor seating, too. A very relaxing place!

feels like you are staying in an old western movie, super nice house!
Elisabeth B. Aug 2019
The house has everything you could wish for. Especially because there was only the 2 of us. There is enough space for a hole family.
The garden was nice to sit in the evening before starting to cook. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.
The air conditioner worked fine, so the temperature in house was perfect.
We had a pleasant experience.
Patricia B. Jul 2019
The Trading post was a perfect place for our family to gather and explore the beauty of the Moab area. Spacious. Colorful, fun home. Great private bedroom areas and communal areas inside and out. Loved the dog friendly back yard and views. Totally recommend this place .
Santiago P. Jul 2019
Loved everything about the house. It was equipped with everything we needed, and everything worked. Have been renting vacation homes for many years and your home had all that we needed. Loved the colors and decor.

This house was so unique. The decor was so colorful and fun. Everything we needed was available and easy to find. Very welcoming for the dog including provided food/water bowls, pet doors and large fenced in yard. Loved it. We wish our stay could have been longer.

Great home. Very clean. Large living room area and dinning room to accommodate all your guests
Mistilyn G. Oct 2018
The Trading Post is a fun, dinstinctive, and comfortable home base for Moab adventures. The layout provides all guests with plenty of privacy and the inside and outside gathering spaces allow plenty of places to gather and retell stories from the day. The pet friendly yard is a great feature! Everything was clean and functional. Adding hot tub and enough dish ware for all guests (6-8) Would push this to a 5 star rating.
Michael S H. Jun 2018
Love the style and decoration of this home - so much fun. A little warm, however, with the swamp cooler, but we closed off the front portion of the home and used the rest. Very spacious and fun!
Meredith B. Jun 2018
Beautiful, spacious home that was very inviting and comfortable. We were close to Moab and enjoyed exploring Canyonlands and Arches National parks.
George M. Mar 2018
The house was very comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out. We all had a great time!
