A great house. Will taken care of
Karen V. Jan 2022
Loved the roominess of the house and the 3 levels. 6 bedrooms worked out great for our 14 family members, including 5 grandchildren. Game room with ping pong was a hit. Short walk to the beach was enjoyed by the grands. Needed to rent bikes, but "ahead of time". Next time, we'll know. Overall, a successful family get-together and loads of great memories!

Great house and location

Everything about this lovely home fit our needs. We had the full 14 people to fill it. My son has four children and the upstairs suite was perfect. My daughters and their families could share the other bedrooms. My wife and I took the master suite. There were games for the kids. TVs in just about every room. A large table for the family gathering. The adults could escape to the back porch along the 11th fairway and enjoy time together. The quick walk to the beach was perfect.
The house was well appointed and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
Judith H. Jul 2021
The house was very spacious and comfortable, and accommodated our family group of 13 very well. The beach is just a short walk away. Hope to go back in 2 years.

This was the perfect house for our large family to stay in when our daughter was married at Kiawah River, followed by a week of vacation to decompress after the wedding. The house had everything we needed, with ample space to spread out and a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, pots and pans, serving ware, and glasses. The game room on the third floor was a hit with our grandkids as well as the easy walk to the beach and the screened in porch. I highly recommend this immaculate, well-maintained house that fit our large family and provided a home base while visiting Kiawah.

This house was fantastic. Luxurious and well appointed. Beautiful and spacious for our two families...and we used maybe half of the bedrooms. Beautiful grounds, quick walk to the beach. If you do nothing else rent bikes and ride on the beach, just fantastic. Hosts were clear with communication and responded quickly to questions.

We rented 351 Low Oaks Road to stay in the weekend of our nephew's wedding. It is a wonderful house, with lots of different sleeping options that easily accommodates a group of married couples and single young adult cousins. The house has numerous outdoor and indoor sitting areas. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the whole house was very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again without hesitation!

Big open rooms. Lots of bedrooms

Great house for big family gathering. Plenty of space, large gathering places, plenty of seating, well stocked kitchen, great location and quiet part of the beach. We had a lovely time!

This lovely home fit our needs perfectly. We enjoyed a wonderful week with three generations sharing this plentiful space. We found this home to be fully stocked and well cared for. We hope to be able to rent this home again and again!

This was a perfect house for our large group. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say. There is an ice maker which we did not realize until our last night!
Erin K. Nov 2019
Wonderful, spacious home. Close to the beach, stocked kitchen, lots of room. You will not be disappointed!
Janulyn M. Nov 2019
Loved the size of each bedroom. House was not cluttered, and everything we needed to make this a great stay was there.

Closets were equipped with hangers, and each bed had towels already layer out. We didn’t have to search for much.
Meg B. Jul 2019
We have been coming to Kiawah since the mid 1970s and love this house! It is easy to find a space of your own in this large space.
Charles R. Jul 2019
Lots of rooms, always someplace to find privacy for reading, playing games, naps, etc. Good kitchen. Plenty of seating for dining, in kitchen and dining room. Good air conditioning. Quiet home, golf course in back, set back from road.
Mary Ann W. Jun 2019
House is located in a quiet neighborhood a short walk or bike ride from the beach. A good area for the kids to ride their bikes. We had 12 people; 3 generations ranging in age from 2 to 70. There was plenty of room in the kitchen/family room area to accommodate everyone. There were also areas where you could have your own space.
The kitchen was well equipped with enough dishes, silverware and glasses for 12 along with a garlic press and micro planer. There was a large capacity washer and dryer. Some of the boards on the deck could be replaced.
Would rent this house again for a large group. The rental agency was easy to work with and answered all questions promptly.
Wendy B. Jun 2019
We had a wonderful family week at this home. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen with lots of cooking utensils. Short walk to beach.
elaine r b. May 2019
Everything about this house was perfect! We had 14 people staying in the house and everyone had plenty of room! If you wanted to sleep in a bit, you could not hear the early risers talking or watching tv or anything.
Julie H. May 2019
Everything about was perfect from location to all the contents inside...
Lynne K. May 2019
8 women rented this home while playing in a tennis tournament on the island. It was a perfect set-up. 6 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths fit all of us very comfortably. Great location. Within walking distance to beach, very close to biking/walking paths, 1 mile to The Sanctuary. Kitchen was fully stocked (although we only boiled eggs!). The only missing item was a hot tub - which would have been perfect after a long day on the courts.
Cynthia T. Apr 2019
This house was perfect for our 14 people 3 generation family reunion. The kitchen was plenty big enough for several people to be working in it at the same time. This was the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in many years of renting beach houses. Having 3 living areas and the bedrooms spread out on the 3 floors gave everyone plenty of room to spread out. The bathrooms are nicely updated and the house was clean. Some of the furniture upholstery could use some updating or cleaning, but nothing that would keep us from renting this house again.
The location of the house was great - just a few minutes walk or bike ride from the beach.
We had a problem with the kitchen sink and disposal which was discovered after cleaning up our 1st night. A total of 3 repairmen ended up coming to make the repairs beginning the next morning. Luckily, they finished late afternoon which enabled us to start supper prep. We appreciated the prompt, courteous attention to getting the repair finished and the kitchen back in working order.
Philip J. Mar 2019
Loved the layout of the kitchen, seating areas, multiple dining areas etc. Great for large groups with kids etc. Well stocked kitchen! We will be back!

"Pictures don't do this property justice. This is a great beach house -- so bright, clean and spacious. It's perfect for multi-generational families or friends with over 6 BR & 6 BA, that accomodates all groups. It's evident that the owners really care for the property, as everything is so well appointed and of top quality. All the bedrooms have flat screen TVs, with multiple rooms for family gatherings or a solitary afternoon of reading. Its a 5 minute walk to the beach, and connects to the multiple bike paths on the island. There is a spacious deck overlooking the woods surrounding the golf course and a great screened in deck area for evenings. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil/appliance needed -- our family so enjoyed this home! It made our vacation unforgettable! We will definitely be back & have now begun calling this property our Beach Home!"
Marjorie A. Aug 2018
We enjoyed our stay at 351 Low Oak Woods. Very short bike ride or 8 minute walk right onto a beach path. We had cocktails or morning coffee out on the deck, and really enjoyed the screened in porch in the late evenings. We were returning to Kiawah Island after about 20 years and were pleased with the new amenities on the island (a grocery store!). The beach is fantastic. We will return.

Beautiful house a few blocks from the beach. Everything was bright and clean and worked out perfectly for us
Jennifer H. Sep 2017
We booked this rental for our sons wedding so my extended family could stay all together. To start it off with, the owner actually left a day early so I could get there early. It was so much better than I much room so all of us could spread out..tons of outdoor living area, screened in porch got a ton of use, kitchen-OMG, so well stocked. just so much clean-towels, bedding, floors were not gritty..plenty of parking.. I would re-rent this house again and again..
Barbara H. Aug 2017
This is our "Kiawah house" according to the little ones. 7 or more stays here and will return next year.
Anonymous . Aug 2017
We have stayed in many houses on Kiawah Island in the past 35 years and this is by far the favorite. This is our second stay in this beautiful home as a multi generation family. We have 6 children ranging in age from toddler to teen, add parents and grandparents and this house has ample space for all. It is lovely, comfortable, spacious and clean, all the things you hope for in a vacation home. The owner has taken great care in providing every amenity to meet your need and takes great care and pride in the condition of this home. It is only a short walk or bike ride to the beach which means everyone can come and go on their own schedule. This house meets our needs perfectly and we hope to stay here again and again!

We just finished our family vacation at 351 Low Oak Woods and we had a wonderful stay. We had eleven people spanning three generations at the house and it was very comfortable. Having six bedrooms and six bathrooms to spread everyone out was really great. The kitchen had every utensil and every pot and pan that we could ever need. The refrigerator looked new and the ice machine was an added bonus. We really enjoyed grilling fish on the back deck and spending the evenings on the screened in porch. The beach is just a short walk away and the bike paths cover the entire Island so it is easy to get around. Freshfield Village has a grocery store, restaurants and other shops that everyone enjoyed. Don't miss the Monday night farmer's market. We got fresh fish and shrimp that we would never have at home. Beachwalker Rentals was very helpful when we were checking in and out. They contacted us and let us know we could check in early. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and we will be going back soon. I would recommend this place to any family as a great place to vacation. Our only regret was that we didn't stay for two weeks.
Kathleen . Jul 2017
This was a beautiful house and accommodated our group well...three families and there was plenty of room for all. The house was well cared for and close enough to the beach to walk within 5 minutes.

Excellent location - Spacious – Clean - Perfect for families - Pictures do NOT do this house justice. LVG SPACE: 6 adults/2 toddlers spanning 3 generations & plenty of room under one roof w/more than enough space to find your own nook. (FL1) open plan kitchen/dining area sits adjacent to screened-in porch w/a picnic table perfect for children made it very conducive to family dining w/o feeling claustrophobic. (FL2) card table and sofa. BEDS: Each bdrm tastefully decorated & quiet airy - 2KGs w/ensuites (FL2 & 3) allowed both couples privacy - (FL2) 2Qs allowed my mom & sister their own respective retreat – w/own bathroom X from Bdrm. (FL3) 4TWs allowed my 4 year-old a plethora of bed choices w/ample space for crib – (FL2) 2DBLs we dubbed a “snoring” room, perfect if one’s partner wakes you up. BATHS: galore - no waiting for showers (FL1) PWDR RM perfectly stes by front door – (FL2) – 2 in hall & 1 ensuite to KG – (FL3), 1 ensuite to KG. LOCATION: walking distance to beach. Only drawback - lack of public restrooms at beach so had to walk back to house. With stroller it was approx.10 min. walk to boardwalk. My only trivial comment - there was no radio in house which I found odd - we all love background music during meals and hanging out. Had to play music via speaker from iPhone. Owners should add a radio with a dock for smart phone just in kitchen which is the epicenter of the house. The DVD player was a lifesaver on rainy days for kids’ movies. LAUNDRY – off kitchen area & helpful for cleaning 2 toddler’s wardrobe changes of 3x a day! I’d also confirm with mggmt cleaner arrival time will be after check-out (10am) – they came at 9am, blocked driveway and acted annoyed that we weren’t yet out. All in all – we collectively LOVED this house - my 4 year old now calls his beach-house!
Steve K. Jun 2017
This is a large home with plenty of living space for multiple age groups and activities, it's an easy walk or bike ride to the beach.
Bonnie N. May 2017
351 Low Oak Woods is the ideal house for a fun time in Kiawah. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood just minutes away from the beach. I cannot imagine anyone ever having complaints.
Mark P. May 2017
We had been owners on Kiawah since 1978 and recently returned for the third time as renters. Our expectations were met in every way as grandparents, children, and parents all had a great time. Previously we had rented ocean front homes, but this location was almost as good and certainly less expensive.
Katherine C. Jan 2017
This house has EVERYTHING AND THEN SOME for a big family gathering!! Had such a great Christmas together with 15 of us from 4 states! The house has so much room to spread out, or congregate together! The kitchen is equipped with EVERYTHING (and then some!!)that you might need!!! Only idea of improvement is another refrigerator accessible to guests...we used the screened-in porch for coolers for adult beverages and kept fruit out there since it was December and cool, so summertime rentals would have to get more creative indoors (or go to Costco or Harris Teeter more often!) We cooked in every night because of the fabulous kitchen. Loved shopping at Harris Teeter's nearby, as well as strolling around Freshfields Village, and spent one day in Charleston at the Market. Bike rentals were well-used and enjoyed. Last night there we all agreed it was the BEST house we could have rented!! Thank you for a most awesome place...from one WV family to anothe

"We love this house. Our family has stayed there several times, all without a single issue. One of our favorite parts about the house is that its large yet extremely comfortable. On this occasion my in-laws came and spent a couple days with us. Besides being blown away over where we vacation, my mother-in law had never been to the ocean. It was magical for her and what a great beach to do it on! Its the kind of place that doesn't require a lot of entertainment. Maybe a bike and the beach. Pure heaven! We will be back. Jack and Becky R. from West Virginia
Jose V. Sep 2016
The house at 351 LOW's was ideal, not on the beach and yet close enough for everyone to enjoy the walk even though we had an 8 month baby. The daily bike rides to ocean club, breakfast at the club, lunch at the sanctuary, kayak and boat trips were the highlights. And the Beach, ah!!! The house was everything one can ask for. The kitchen even kept a Chef busy! We have been doing this for over 20 years, loved it every year. We had 8 families, 52 people including 10 children from 6mos to 6yrs spread over 5 houses and very one enjoyed very minute.
Todd P. Aug 2016
Had a fantastic week at this large home that was both large enough to accommodate young and old but also was cozy enough to allow for multiple groups to have fun simultaneously. Loved ping pong and foosball tables and proximity to beach. One or two small issues were quickly addressed by service team.
Clare A. Jun 2016
It was tops from beginning to end. Very professional and friendly rental company and beautiful home.
Vickie R. May 2016
The house perfectly matched the description and photos -- huge and beachy. We would have liked non-stick pans for easy cooking and clean up, but everything we needed was there. Our positive rental experience contributed to my daughter's dream wedding on the beach. We are already talking about returning to Kiawah again soon.
Diane D. Jan 2016
All of our children from around the US met us in Kiawah for Christmas. The house was perfect. The bedrooms/bathrooms were just what we needed. The granddaughters loved the twin beds! There was plenty of space for everyone to gather and to have quiet space also. The kitchen is very well equipped and the screen porch was lovely. Short walk to the beach was great. I would highly recommend this home as a wonderful space for your vacation.
