Our family of 8 recently spent one week at Seaside Shelter on Indian Pass! Seaside Shellter has a fantastic location with a path to the beach right across the street. The view is unmatched and at this time of year we could view both sunrise and sunset from the house and the beach. The home is spacious and decorated nicely with a beach theme throughout. Almost every room has a great view. The kitchen was stocked with every type of pan or utensil one could need. We enjoyed birding, kayaking, a trip to St. Vincent Island, fishing, beachwalking and more.

My family and I stayed here this week, we loved our stay. This is the second time we stayed in this home and have enjoyed it each time. We met some of the staff when waiting to be able to check in and they were so kind and helpful. The house is clean and very accommodating, we are likely to stay here again!

The location is the only positive about this house. It’s rundown and wore out. The patio furniture is rusting and deteriorated to a point that it leaves debris. The interior furniture is no better. The house was littered with dog hair and dust when we arrived. Stay elsewhere the elevator shouldn’t be a consideration as it’s locked and not available.
Manager response:
We have sent your feedback to the local staff for further review. We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement and will work diligently with the homeowner to make any updates. We look forward to hosting you for your next vacation!

Weather disappointing. Water issues caused several with sickness and one to ER. Will not rent again or use this agent. So sorry. Very disappointing from last year without adjustments for deficiencies. Poor communication with VACASA corperation!
Manager response:
Ronald, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry for any disappointment you experienced during your stay. Please know you can always reach out to our 24/7 customer service line to further discuss your stay. We hope to have the chance to impress you in the future.

This is a great house with lots of room for a big family. The elevator is a nice touch.

A perfect location to get away from it all and enjoy the beach.

We came with a group of 4 adults and 4 kids. The room with the futon, Murphy bed, and TV was a perfect place to put the kids. The kitchen is spacious and the view is nice. It’s a beautiful part of North Florida. It’s dog-friendly, but doesn’t smell of dog. We’ll be back!

My family and I stayed in this house a week. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning to this area. I hope this house is available because we would stay here again. Great house and I would recommend it!!

Excellent location, with the pandemic in the back of your mind. The beaches were quiet, few people and about a hour yards from the house. The house is well stocked, clean and airy. It has an elevator and screened porch. Also dog friendly. Would recommend!

The beautiful beach. The sun room. Having our dog with us. Quiet neighborhood.

Overall the house was good. Beautiful views of the gulf and adjoining river. The nighttime sky was a real treat! If you want to get off the grid, this is the place for you. We were one of three groups on the beach any given day with a handful of others coming and going. The house is a great layout with master suites on each side of the house for privacy. Great big kitchen for family dinners and playing games. We loved the screened porch for morning coffee. The kitchen was well-equipped (especially in casserole dishes!) but there was almost too much. Every cabinet had piles of stuff that could easily be edited, leaving little room for our food, etc. Mattresses could be replaced. House was clean enough but the fridge and freezer smelled strongly of fish from previous guest(s). As we were trying to pack up and get loaded to leave an elevator repair man showed up. I think this appointment should have been scheduled for a time in between guests.
Manager response:
Monica, we are happy you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your feedback. We will be sure to pass your comments regarding the kitchen supplies and mattresses along to our local manager for consideration. She will also address the odors in the refrigerator/freezer. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced when the elevator repairman arrived and will work with our local team to schedule necessary repairs between guests. We look forward to hosting you in the future!

This house is on the corner of a neighborhood, with friendly locals and other vacationers. Very laid back! Elevator and all rooms on one floors are a must when traveling with seniors.

The house was plenty big for my husband and I, our 3 kids, 2 grands, a couple friends, and our dog. Outside space was great, plenty of room for everyone. The beach was not crowded at all. There were only 3 groups on the part of the beach we were on. We even saw dolphins from the screened porch. You may want to bring extra sheets, as there were none provided for the futon or the Murphy bed, and I strongly encourage you to check with the Gulf Co courthouse and get a permit to drive on the beach for loading and unloading tents, chairs, etc. There is a pet friendly restaurant in Port St Joe, and also on St George, not too far of a drive. The house is not high end, but comfortable, and it was perfect for teenagers, kids, and a dog.

Great location. Enjoyed the Florida room immensely. Water view from multiple decks.

We were just passing through and spent 2 nights in this lovely beach cottage. Tranquil walks on the beach, quiet evenings in the lanai, and wonderful welcoming neighbors added to our desire to stay longer.

The location of Seaside Shellter is perfect. You can see the beach and hear the ocean. The elevator is a real plus. It’s a very comfortable house, well equipped and furnished nicely. Has a great screened in front porch and open deck in back. Wonderful owners⭐️

Seaside Shellter is a perfect beach house with the best location and ocean view in Indian Pass! From the screened in porch, you can see St Vincent Island and from the sunroom, complete with Murphy bed if needed for guests, the view of the beach and ocean is awesome. House is nicely furnished, comfortable with a great kitchen and back deck, 3 TV’s , Internet, plus an elevator!
As renters, we are Blessed to be in Seaside Shellter👍👌⭐️

Seaside Shelter has been our ‘winter home away from home” for the past 12 years! It’s a wonderful house, comfortable and well equipped, with an incredible view of the beach. Two big pluses + + for us are the elevator and pet friendly.

This house was perfect for us! Good memories made with our family. Beautiful sun rises and sunsets ever day.

We loved staying at the Seaside Shelter. We have been to the area several times in the past but this was definitely our favorite. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the location was perfect. We will definitely be returning to this house. Thank you for making our stay such an enjoyable one.

Seaside Shelter was the perfect family vacation house. We had ages ranging from 6 to 78. All family members loved the location and the house. The house was very clean and well appointed. the process of renting the home was very easy and straight forward. We would definitely rent this house again if we stay at Indian Pass.
