Loved this lovely cabin right on the creek. Hot tub was a bonus. Beautiful area with lots of great places to explore.

Our family of 4 was comfortable staying in this funky and cozy home. The outdoor patio was perfect and our kids had a great time playing in the little bit of water that was in the creek. Great location to explore the local towns and beach.

We loved our stay at this cabin by Austin Creek. It was exactly as described and better! The addition of the Roku TV was nice, even though we didn't use it very much. When we got home in the evenings the hot tub won out over the TV! It was nice to have for music and we did watch a few new shows. The space heaters worked to sufficiently keep us warm on the cool mornings and evenings, along with the wood stove. The kitchen was nice. Mostly the cabin itself was amazing! Whoever built it knew what he was doing, among the trees utilizing the light. When inside you still felt like you were outside! Lovely that the creek was running and the ducks came everyday to play!

Genuinely loved the place; views were awesome, the only reason gripe I have is that there were small numbers of ants in the bathroom and rats outside on the property, but not in large numbers or in any unsightly fashion. The inside was supremely clean, other than the small amount of pests the place is one that both myself snd the rest if my close-knit companions intend on visiting again repeatedly!
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Kai. We are so glad you had a nice time overall but are so sorry for the details that were amiss. We apologize for any encounters you had with pests. We will be sure to make our local team aware so they can treat the home for future guests. Thank you for your feedback and we hope to host you again soon.

We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. My 2 kids had a great time playing board games and exploring Austin Creek. A highlight was the huge garden patio for dining and hot tubbing. The setting in the redwoods overlooking the creek are beautiful, especially in the evening with the patio lights, and the bullfrog and cricket sounds. The cabin and little sleeper cabin had most everything we needed. The loft has pretty low ceilings, although my kids did not mind. Duncan mills and the restaurants nearby were a fun discovery. We are from Marin and never knew about this town before!

We passed a couple of peaceful evenings at this creekside gem. It is cozy inside, but also offers good separation from time to time (kid to the loft, dad on the sofa, mom reading a book in bed). The kitchen had ample space and the pass through counter made it easy to prepare and serve meals in the adjacent dining area. The outside is great. In addition to the hot tub, we enjoyed lounging around on the large patio drinking our wine and reading our books. Our son immediately ran down to the creek bed, and the from our perch it was easy to observe his explorations. This spot is great for staying put, but is also a great hub for driving to the coast, hiking in the redwoods, and of course accessing more spots along the Russian River as well.

Loved this creek-side hideaway in the redwoods. It’s right off the rustic Cazadero Highway. The cabin is comfortable with a high functioning kitchen pass-through that keeps you connected to the living and dining area. Our youngest was delighted by the loft with two twin beds and our teenagerliked the privacy of the outdoor casita he slept in. We all loved the large outdoor patio with hot tub. Perched high above the creek bed with a glass of wine in a hot tub surrounded by trees strung with lights. It was a relaxing get-a-way! We will be back for sure.
