Two-Story, Dog-Friendly Home w/Free WiFi, New 3-Season Porch, Grill, Shared Pool

Ideal for a fun family retreat (your dog included!), this two-story home provides all the conveniences and comforts of a home away from home along with that rustic charm that will help you forget about anything else. The first level offers two private bedrooms with baseboard heat units, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a baseboard heat unit, and an inviting living space with a flatscreen TV connected to a Roku device, perfect for streaming (Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, etc.), as well as 20+ cable channels through the Spectrum app, comfortable furnishings, a space heater, and a foosball/coffee table.

Climb up the stairs and you'll come across the main living space of the home. The living room is a great place to unwind and gather with your family–you can either play one of the many board games available while the kids get lost in one of the many kids' books or toys, stream your favorite series or movies on the wall-mounted flatscreen TV (with Roku and cable as well), or simply relax and enjoy the silence by the gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the gadgets, cookware, and appliances you could think of to prepare delicious, homemade meals, and snacks. Get comfortable at the six-person dining table and enjoy a mouth-watering meal.

Right off the living/kitchen area is a three-season porch built in 2019 equipped with a round outdoor table and seven chairs–this is another great place to hang out with your family, play some cards, share snacks, or an outdoor meal. Adjoining the porch is an uncovered balcony with another outdoor table and a private gas grill.

Additionally, the Knights Hill Association private beach and docks are a short walk from the house. Location plenty of room and very clean

The cabin was not as expected as we had to completely clean the carpets, bathrooms and floors of dog hair and excessive dog odor before we were able to unpack. The cabin is rather drab, dark and furnishings were old. The sheets and towels were very clean and refrigerator was also clean. The porch disappointed because the floor was slats of wood with 1/2 inches between each slat which allows bugs and mosquitoes in. We also had to contend with little black fruit like flies that came in from pipes each morning. Bridgton is a darling town and area where cabin was is beautiful. Looks like owners are working on it and someday will be great
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Lynne! We are sorry the home did not meet your expectations. Thank you for sharing your feedback and for bringing some items to our attention that may need some TLC. We have passed your feedback to our local staff to work on improving the home for future guests. We will also set traps for the fruit flies. We hope we can host you again for a much more enjoyable stay.

Home is dated with cabinets falling apart, bathroom smelled like a sewer, dog hair was EVERYWHERE (to the point I didn't let my kids play on the floor). Best this about this place was the stuff outside- we lived at the pool and pond (even used their bathrooms because they were cleaner there).

If you are not going to do anything but sleep here (beds were comfortable) go for it. If you plan on spending any time in the house and cooking (limited kitchen supplies)- pass and find something else.

Outside of the the internet password there was not standard rental book with how to get to the pool/beach or local amenities. We figured everything out on our own.

Vacasa was USELESS at rectifying issues we had during our stay. They lack timely communication on check-in/check-out processes.

We've stayed at numerous vacation rental homes in the past and this was by far the most disappointing home.
Manager response:
Hello Natasha, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with the condition of our home. We have passed your valuable feedback to our home manager and will work with the owners on updating the home and improving the experience of our next renters. There is no rental book on the property but guests can find information about the home in the check-in instructions email and in their Vacasa app. Please know you can always reach out to our 24-hour customer service line for any questions or concerns you may have. We have an amazing team of customer service agents and local staff ready to help. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future.
