There are great ocean views throughout the top and bottom duplex, located close to all Carlsbad has to offer, beach (0.1 miles, or 2 minute walk), Starbucks/Vons/Rite Aid (0.5 miles or 10 minute walk), Legoland (4 miles, or 10 minute drive), Carlsbad Lagoon (1 mile, 4 minute drive), restaurants, cafes, train station, etc.

Carlsbad Lagoon is a great activity for the whole family to enjoy, and only 4 minutes away. The lagoon offers boat rentals, jet ski, paddle boarding, etc.

This house was clean, with a few of the ocean from the front of the house. Short walk to the beach, a little farther to downtown, but doable. Our family rented both upstairs and downstairs units, which was nice with the shared outdoor area. If we had only the upstairs unit there wouldn’t have been really any outdoor area to sit and enjoy Carlsbad’s beautiful weather.
We would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful rental that I would highly recommend to anyone! The space was the perfect size for our family of 5. Everything was comfortable, clean and modern. The beds were super comfortable and the linens very soft. The kitchen was well stocked and I easily cooked meals in there. The view of the ocean and the daily surfers from the kitchen and living room windows was perfect! The unit is so centrally located to the village of Carlsbad, the beach, shopping, and so many amazing restaurants. We hope to visit Carlsbad again in the future and we, without question, would love to stay here again!! Thank you for a perfect trip!

We had a wonderful week at this house, which had a perfect location just blocks from the beach. A couple of things to note if you're thinking about renting it - it would be best to rent it with another family with the downstairs unit because there's not really an outdoor space for the upstairs unit. There's also not a bathtub, just two showers. Last thing, it was pretty sparse in terms of what's included in the kitchen (i.e. no salt/pepper, tupperware, ziploc bags etc.) so plan to bring that with you.

Nice place. Modern and minimalist decor which we liked. Quick drive to groceries, downtown, and freeway. Or walk to beach. Sheets and pillowcases on king size bed was visibly dirty. The property manager was quick to respond with fresh clean sheets the next day since we realized in the evening and sent pictures. The rest of the house was clean.

Water views & sunsets from the living room! We loved Haven B as it was spacious, walkable to downtown, well appointed & easy parking. People in this neighborhood were so nice!
The very soft bed (primary bedroom) & the sliding door to the bathroom in the queen bedroom would be my only points of feedback; wish the door was solid so turning on lights didn’t wake other sleepers.
We loved Carlsbad & will be back!

This is a great location at a great house. This is the second floor unit. The house is clean, has everything you need for the beach (towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards) and it’s only a block from the beach. The view from main room is awesome! The master bedroom faces east and it gets really bright in the morning. Overall, we will definitely go back. You really can’t beat location. It’s quiet at night and early morning but only a block from beach so you get best of both worlds. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We had a great time and it was the perfect size for me and my daughter of 5 and other family. The unit was very clean and bright, well equipped and comfy. Close to downtown Carlsbad the beach, grocery store and Legoland. Just a couple things to be aware of: the 2 guest rooms and shared bath have glass in their doors, and although there was `privacy` glass, you could still see in, it was especially awkward when using the bathroom. Also, the window dressings in the bedrooms aren`t blackout, and let in a fair amount of light, so if you`re sensitive, be sure to bring an eye mask or something else to block the light, kids were definitely up early because of the light. Although easily accessible, it still would have been nice to have the laundry/dryer in unit vs having to go outside to access. Management seemed very communicative. We would stay again.
