Recent Central Oregon vacation rental reviews

This home worked out perfectly for our party of 10 with four families. We all had our own room. The loft upstairs was perfect for the kids to hang out. The kitchen to my surprise was fully stocked with everything I needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner. The 10 bikes in the garage was a bonus as well. I liked the location as it was close to the market. We would definitely stay here again. The hot tub worked great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This house is cozy and well-appointed! Our family and dogs (and a baby) found it safe (baby gate) and stylish. There are plentiful fleece blankets for snuggling up in the great room and even a Christmas tree and outdoor lights for an extra-festive feel.

Bend

If you prefer your great outdoors paired with award-winning cuisine, then one of our vacation rentals in the gorgeous brewpub haven of Bend may be just the ticket. This mid-sized city offers it all: start your day with a cup of locally-roasted coffee and a long bike ride along a riverfront trail. Spend your afternoon hiking in the Deschutes National Forest or shopping in the bustling Old Mill District, and then wind down your evening with a different kind of trek along Bend's famous Ale Trail.

Sisters

Travel back to the Old West in Sisters, an authentic western community with quaint shops, quality dining, and easy access to skiing at Hoodoo or Mt. Bachelor. There are golf courses, swimming pools, tennis courts, and horseback rides galore, along with art galleries, cafes, festivals, and spas to enjoy.

Detroit Lake

Tucked away in the Willamette National Forest, the glistening waters of Detroit Lake have been luring summertime vacationers for decades. Lounge on the sand, paddle in a kayak, hike a nearby trail: the outdoor options are endless. The town of Detroit itself is quite small, but plays a wonderful host with summertime festivals and events to entertain its visitors.

Central Oregon offers a fantastic selection of family-friendly resort towns, packed to the gills with amenities to entertain guests of all ages and surrounded by endless opportunities for biking, hiking, rafting, fishing, climbing, and wintertime skiing.

Just half an hour southwest of Bend, the popular resort community of Sunriver offers world-class golf courses, a brand new aquatic center, and a bustling village full of shops, restaurants, and spas. To the north, Eagle Crest has guides eagerly waiting to whisk you away on a rock climbing or whitewater rafting adventure. At Black Butte Ranch, you'll find over 1,800 acres of protected Central Oregon wilderness to explore in this Old West resort, and the blue waters of Phalarope Lake for stand-up paddle boarding and canoe trips!
