One of Kauai’s most charming corners, the community of Kilauea has a little bit of everything. This North Shore town just might be your new favorite Hawaiian destination, and our Kilauea vacation rentals are your ideal home base here.
About seven miles east of Princeville, our Kilauea rentals occupy a quiet portion of Kauai’s North Shore. It sits between the Halelea Forest Preserve and the Moloaa Forest Preserve, two of the island’s most lush and wild forests. Kilauea gets its name from the active Kilauea volcano, one of Kauai’s most imposing natural features.
While you’re staying in one of our condo rentals, you’ll definitely want to visit Kilauea Lighthouse, a local landmark (and great background for family photos!). Keep an eye out for the colorful local bird life while you’re there. No Hawaii vacation is complete without some time spent at the beach, and Kilauea is home to two of the island’s finest - Kauapea Beach, also known as Secret Beach, and Kaakaaniu Beach, also known as Larsen’s Beach. Explore the Wai Koa Loop Trail, formerly a guava plantation, and perhaps stop for a round of mini golf on-site before heading out. Be sure to check out the Kong Lung historic market center for an eclectic gathering of local artisans and their wares.
Kilauea is a slice of Kauaian paradise just waiting to be explored. Save your spot at a Kilauea vacation rental and see what it’s all about!
