Make Kauai your next getaway

It's the oldest, northernmost, and perhaps the most beautiful of the Hawaiian Islands: a so-called Garden Isle where natural wonders are too plentiful to count. Welcome to Kauai, a tranquil, laid-back oasis where sparkling seas, lush rainforests, and knife-edged emerald mountains meet. It's the Hawaii you've always dreamed of—and one best experienced in the comfort of our Kauai vacation rentals.

Recent Kauai vacation rental reviews

We really enjoyed our stay Waipouli Beach Resort. The unit we stayed at was nice and cleaned. We had every we needed. It was also nice that the resort was close to a grocery story. The pool area was beautiful and the way they had the pool set up, it never felt over crowded. The beach access was also very nice and clean. We would definitely recommend this resort.

The unit was well maintained and its proximity to the beach was a plus. The only suggestion is to replace the two chairs with a twin bed or a sofa sleeper in the upstairs loft. This would make the space better equipped for families with young children.

Where is Kauai?

Measuring 33 miles wide and 25 miles long, Kauai sits in the uppermost reaches of the Hawaiian Islands, northwest of the bustling beaches of Oahu. The island is roughly circular in shape, with some of its most dramatic scenery in the north, the Coconut Coast to the east, sun-splashed beaches in the south, and secluded nature parks to the west.

Things to do on Kauai

Between sandy ocean shores and summits that reach up to 5,243 feet, our Kauai vacation homes offer access to some of the most stunning scenes in the Pacific.

You'll find unrivaled beauty on the verdant north shore, whether you set off in a kayak from Hanalei Bay or hike the world-famous Kalalau Trail through Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park. Snorkel with sea turtles near Ke'e Beach or admire views of Bali Hai from Tunnels Beach.

Head east to kayak the Wailua River and mingle with locals in downtown Kapa'a, or follow the sun south to the family-friendly beaches of Poipu. Leave the crowds far behind you as you drive west to peer into the depths of Waimea Canyon and catch unforgettable glimpses of the Kalalau Valley from the lookout points in Koke'e State Park.
