Recent Smoky Mountains, North Carolina vacation rental reviews

We have stayed in a lot of cabins. This was the most beautiful one we’ve ever stayed at. We actually, for the first time, used a travel agent and we are so glad we did. KH Travel found us this and we were so pleased. The view is as breathtaking as the cabin.

large, well-equipped kitchen; comfortable living room and bedrooms; charming sunroom; everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, especially the lake views and proximity to lake

We rented this cabin to celebrate Thanksgiving. We arrived in a monsoon and couldn’t appreciate the beauty immediately. Although the lockbox unlocked the bolt the traditional door knob was locked and even the key would not unlock it. Luckily we were able to unlock the the downstairs. The local Vacasa rep Shannon was quick to reach out to us and make sure we were ok. Thr next day, Darrel arrived and replaced the door knob. Thank you to both of them. The house it beautiful and I appreciate the details that were taken with decor. The anti fog mirror in down bath was nice. The spiral stairs are scary going down. They are very narrow and no way can anyone carry items up them. Plenty of towels was another nice addition. We cooked a lot. A mixing bowl and measuring spoons would be nice to have in kitchen. We took alot of cooking essentials but did not take those and they were needed. Wi-Fi never worked. TVs buffered the entire 4 days we were there and we never could watch more than 3 mins. On the final morning the WiFi seemed to have kicked in but we decided to leave early bc our college student had a paper due and could not count on the wifi. Overall we would stay here again knowing WiFi may or may not work. Hot tub also did not seem to be working. Water was great and I could not get it above 90*. Instructions on operating hot tub and fireplace/heat remotes would be helpful as we woke up to fireplace on and had lot turned it on. This house is on the side of mtn with beautiful views. Wi-Fi buffering is expected but it was frustrating for the student with deadlines. I would stay here again.
