Home is dated as expected but comfortable and homey. Except for dining set the furniture and beds were comfortable. If you struggle with stairs, not the home for you. The view is amazing. A better table in living room for puzzles would be nice and one added downstairs would be handy too. The current dining table and chairs are noisy and uncomfortable. There is a hidden leaf when you open it to make bigger which helped but not enough chairs for a large group. Would stay there again.

Hi All, this was a magical forest retreat very quiet very clean. Bring your own coffee because there’s none there also be prepared to boil water if you want to take a bath because the hot water heater was not big enough to fill the tub even halfway. All in all a great place to stay, but would not stay there again.

A spacious, well appointed home with spectacular views. The furniture is comfortable and ample both in living room and dining room. The kitchen has all newer appliances and is well stocked as far as dishes, cookware, and utensils. Bedrooms are well spaced so everyone has their privacy at night and there are plenty of extra blankets and towels. The place is crazy with books on all subjects and there are LOTS of jigsaw puzzles (I am a fan) The instructions- both on line and written notices in the house - were simple and easy to follow. And did I mention the views are spectacular? Nicely located - the dunes and the river are just steps away out the back of the house but with plenty of trees to give you privacy. And you are less than a mile from downtown with all of it's quaint shops and a great variety of restaurants to choose from. And did I mention the spectacular views? I've already booked my next visit.
