Always love my visits to KIiawah. This villa was clean and located near the boardwalk to the beach. I will definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of five. Master bathroom is beautiful and the open family room/ kitchen was a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Bufflehead 3 was the perfect house for our family vacation. Our two sons and their families and my husband and I loved the spacious house. There was plenty of room for the ten of us. The grandkids loved the pool every day and the beach was a short bike ride from the house. The house has a kitchen that is stocked with everything you can imagine which was great for the meals we decided to stay in and cook. We definitely took advantage of the second refrigerator which was a plus. The only small appliance I would suggest they add is a blender. I missed my daily smoothies! The house has a beautiful mostly glass sunroom on the first floor with a large TV which was a good babysitter for the "early rising grandkids" to play in until the rest of the family woke up. We also found games, puzzles and books in a cabinet as well as loads of beach toys which the kids enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again as we all had a great time!

Where is Kiawah Island?

About 25 miles southwest of Charleston, this resort town occupies one of South Carolina’s most beautiful coastal islands. Like its neighbor Hilton Head Island about 100 miles south, this island offers luxury vacation rentals, pristine beaches, and a friendly Southern welcome. Several resort villages make up Kiawah Island, including the Vanderhorst Plantation, a gated community. Just down the coast, you'll find the quaint community of Seabrook Island, a destination for golfers and nature-lovers. This part of South Carolina's Lowcountry is beloved by all kinds of vacationers for its verdant greenery, peaceful beaches, and upscale resort atmosphere.

In addition to its sun-kissed beaches, the island offers activities for all manner of guests. Kiawah is also renowned for its world-class tennis facilities: the resort offers top-rated tennis amenities, featuring hard and clay courts in two separate tennis complexes.
