Oceanfront studio w/ easy beach access - dogs welcome!
Ideal for a couple getaway, this newly remodeled Oceanside Inn vacation rental brings the beauty of the coast to you. Relax with your companion (up to two guests and two dogs maximum) on the expansive shared deck overlooking the beach while you watch the sun set.
From its beachfront location (the sand is just outside and down a set of stairs!) to being only three miles from the picturesque Cape Meares Lighthouse, this ocean view condo has a prime location to ensure a fun-filled week for everyone. And although this unit does not come with a full kitchen, there's no need to worry! Delicious Roseanna's Cafe is just a short walk away, and offers amazing meals.
With a perfect blend of rustic and contemporary, you'll enjoy the comforts of this studio in style.
The natural wood bed frame and matching bench at the end of the bed greatly complement the grey walls. A pale yellow bedspread atop the comfortable king-size bed brings a wonderful brightness.
End your beach-filled day with a hot shower in the attached bathroom and your favorite show on the flatscreen TV. Cable, WiFi, and a DVD player are all included so you can pop in your favorite movie, stream your current binge show, and easily stay connected with friends and family.
If you do wish to bring your furry friends, they're welcome though there is an associated dog fee! And if you are looking to bring more guests along for this unforgettable getaway, you can book both this unit and the adjoining full condo together, Boat Basin #1 and Tillamook Nook #2, which brings your maximum occupancy to six.
The Oceanside Inn offers a laundry facility for its guests, and the first-come, first-served parking lot has three newly installed electric vehicle charging stations (two for Teslas and one generic).
Kayak, fish, and crab in the ocean and nearby bays. Fly kites and build sand castles on the beach, then hike down past the Three Arch Rocks and through Oceanside's Tunnel Cave at Maxwell Point. Hop in the car and pop onto the Three Capes Scenic Drive (a 40-mile loop from Tillamook) for some of the most exquisite sights you'll ever see. Give yourself plenty of time to stop and snap photos at each of the state parks. Netarts is two miles south, and Tillamook is nine miles east for more hikes, the air museum, and the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory.
Whether you're relaxing on the beach with your sweetheart, or snuggled up in bed with a good book, this Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental will keep you coming back again and again.
Please note that while cell phone reception can be poor in Oceanside, it tends to be more reliable two miles south in Netarts. This property has a Verizon signal booster. For your convenience, there is an outside phone available under the carport with free long distance if needed.
We love Oceanside and the location was PERFECT! Everything was clean, the bed comfortable and check in was a breeze. I only wish I had booked in time to get a room on the front with a view.
Great place! Nice deck to view from!
Very well appointed. The sunsets were amazing!!
They advertise as ocean front but only 5 rooms are ocean front and have views. #2 is a spare bedroom off #1 and no view unless you leave the door open and then its just a slice and is cold. this time of year. Ocean front units are 1,4,8,9,10.
We had such a great time! The views were amazing and there was a staircase right down to the beach! The parking was a bit tight but we will be back!
Great beach access and view.
Could be a great property. FYI - The room you reserve online may not be the room you get. No cell service, except ATT. No landline in my room, 1 outside phone. No dedicated parking, ie. Thx for staying but parking is your problem. Customer Service? Good luck! Nobody onsite to address problems, i.e. clogged sink, no internet. Customer service requires Vacasa to answer the phone to even get the ball rolling. "local" number likely forwards to Vacasa. Had all of these unique variables been honestly stated I would have gladly made a reservation elsewhere.
The view was beautiful and the bed was comfy. Unfortunately, our entry code didn't work and it was really inconvenient, and took about an hour for us to get into our room. Also, the heated floors in the bathroom didn't work and the bed frame was really loud and screechy. Also, as others mentioned, paper thin walls and we could hear every noise from the room next door. Overall it was quite comfortable but I don't think I'd stay there again.
Stayed 2 nights, very nice room. Will for sure come back
We loved our stay! Perfect getaway to recharge in a quiet town. The room was very clean and the bathroom has heated floors...great for our chilly feet after a stroll on the beach!
The customer service was great. Return calls within 15 minutes. 2 days before our stay, we had to cancel our 2nd night stay and were gracefully accommodated, - we did have the booking insurance.
Location excellent, nicely appointed room, price reasonable.
The King bed was hard, and left no room for a chair in this unit. We might opt for a larger room next time.
Adorable room in a gorgeous location. This is a great find.
The outside lights didn't turn on at night could'nt see to put in door code unsafe walking up steps to our room complained to cleaning staff was told that owner was aware of problem but didn't know how to fix problem stayed 2 nights without outside lights working
This property was amazing - a true Vacasa experience! I loved the view from the deck. The stairs to get to the beach were actually easier to navigate than the public beach access. I loved that it was right next door to an incredible restaurant. It was very modern with a super comfy king bed. This property was everything I love and expect from Vacasa, and more!
Its location on the beach and proximity to town make this an outstanding rental. Given the shared door with the unit next door, our unit had all the ambiance ot a cheap motel. We could hear every noise coming from the room next door, including the barking dog, TV games shows, and all of their conversations. If you could get a unit without a shared door, I think this would be an outstanding stay.
This review is just for the Tillamook Nook studio that I stayed at for 3 nights.
It is an adjoining bedroom for the larger unit next door that can be rented separately, so be advised that it is not very large.
As it was just myself travelling with my 2 dogs, the room was adequate for my needs, as we spent most of the day exploring the coastline, and only used the room at night. The unit was clean upon check in, although with 2 dogs and proximity to the beach, I made frequent use of the broom and dustpan provided. Fortunately, the unit is small enough that a quick sweep doesn't take too long. The building itself has great beach access down a set of stairs (awesome beach), a killer shared deck with a fantastic view, and a couple of eating establishments within short walking distance.
The room itself had a small fridge, small tv, and comfortable king sized bed. There was not really any kind of a view from the window, except of the parking lot. The wi-fi strength was good, although cell service in town is pretty sketchy.
There was a bench at the edge of the bed, but no chairs or proper desk. Although advertised as a being ideal for a couple getaway, I wouldn't recommend more than a solo traveler, (unless you are a newly wed couple that is just going to stay in bed anyway).
I would stay here again if alone, but if travelling with my wife, would book a different room. The Oceanside Inn is in a great location, and an ideal home base for exploring this section of the coast.
The main room and bathroom are well finished – that’s the good part.
The room had a massive king size bed and no chairs to sit on or table to sit at. The only place to sit down was outside the room on the deck – not comfortable in the cold rain. There is dishwashing soap, sponge and tea towel for washing dishes with only one glass in the room and no plates or bowls but there are plenty of plastic utensils and paper cups. There is a big coffee-making machine with no coffee in the room although there is a massive amount of sugar and creamers. I should mention there is a complimentary deck of cards emblazoned with the Vacasa name but again nowhere to play cards other than on the floor or the bed.
We had a great stay in this studio condo. Deck right outside the room that is shared with the other rooms, but plenty of seating to enjoy the beautiful views. Stairs straight down to the beach. Walls are very thin to the adjoining room but most travelers don't spend enough time in the room itself to mind. Our only change for next time would be to rent a room with more of a kitchen because there are only 2 places to eat in Oceanside, to our knowledge. This room is only a fridge and coffeepot.
Our hotel in Portland was smoked out from fise so I called Vacasa to get a room 24 hrs in anvance and they found a nice room for us at Oceanside OR ..was a great last night of our vacation .....
There are only 2 restaurants and one is closed Tuesday's. Grocery very slim. I suggest you pick up groceries in Tillamook at Safeway before heading to Oceanside
A perfect location to enjoy yourself and the ocean as close as possible. Rooms are decorated very tastefully, new and clean interior. Nice and calm atmosphere. Great and comfortable veranda directly overlooking the beach. Reservation and check-in processes via the internet are fast and easy.
A great place to be!
We spent part of our honeymoon here, enjoying the great views from the deck.
Overall a very pleasant experience! The sleepy location was amazing with lots of beauty all around! We will visit again with a better idea of what to expect.
The beach was beautiful with amazing views from the community deck area! Must check out the cave/tunnel to the other side of the beach!
I especially loved having the air conditioning as it was the hottest day on record when I was there! The furnishings are lovely.
Very clean, perfect place to lay head after day of touring coast...just be aware...you can hear every word from room next door!
This is a great Inn. If you want to stay on the beach, this is the place. Everyone would gather on the deck for sunset and there were spots you could have a fire on the beach itself. The room was clean, cute and had a lot of little extras like a heated bathroom floor. There is a door to the other unit in this one, so you can hear other guests a bit more, but everyone was pretty quite so it wasn't a big deal. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
We brought our pup and relaxed on the beach, read books and drank wine on the deck overlooking the water. We even saw WHALES! Fabulous place, clean, modern, and quaint. Perfect.
This is our home away from home destination. This property is amazing! The rooms are well equipped and beautiful. Everything you'd ever need is there and more! The deck overlooking the ocean has spectacular views and comfy lounge chairs to lay in and read a book and listen to the ocean. ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful rooms and view. Absolutely love the beach access and deck for a glass of wine at sunset! Appreciate easy check in and out, no fuss or keycards to remember. 10/10 recommend
Vacasa was very easy to book through and I had no troubles. The property itself needs sounds proofing because the neighbors on both sides of us woke us up early every morning making it hard to relax. Was a cute well decorated room. Property needs a better parking situation but I understand it's a small town.
The place was beautiful! The bed was super comfy! Amazing shower! GrEaT WiFi! Best views! Perfect!
We loved this studio for the fact that it's right on the beach where 3 arches are. I loved walking straight down and exploring. The deck was amazing too. The town itself is small with no cell phone service, but it's a great hub for nearby scenic spots. My only complaint is that this studio just has a locked door connecting to the apartment next to it and you can hear everything.
Enjoyed the whole experience. Great time. Great accessibility. Great price.
We weren't sure what to expect when we booked this rental, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Though the place was small (room and parking lot), it was a great place to stay. The view and location of the beach was great. Oceanside itself is small, but it is within the vicinity of great destinations.
We went down to the beach and walked through the tunnel from one side of the beach to the other. In that mostly secluded area, we got engaged. It was a great vacation and we would recommend this location to anyone who asks.
Oceanside was very beautiful and secluded from the hustle bustle of tourist towns on the coast. There are not many options for restaurants in Oceanside which is great for relaxing in a quiet environment without traffic of others. Nearby Netarts and Rockaway do have some dining options so you don't have to go too far for good eats. The ocean right in front of the unit would be great for surfing, boogie boarding, or skim boarding if you have your own wetsuit and gear as the nearest rental shop is about 40 minutes south in Pacific City. Definitely check out the stars on a clear night. I was able to see the moonset over the ocean with the stars twinkling in the background and the Milky Way was visible to the plain eye due to the lack of light pollution in the area. If you are into the shopping and souvenirs there is a better destination for your group but if you want to experience the unbelievable beauty of the Oregon Coast without the crowds, this place is amazing. This unit is the only one at Oceanside Inn without a kitchen and seating area but I didn't want to be cooking on vacation anyway. The price was hard to beat for how great the unit was. The reservation process was very quick and easy with an agent over the phone and the emails were very thorough with the information I needed for the whole stay. I had a great time and can't wait to come back!
Next to restaurant
This little hotel is right on the water and very well kept. Our room, Tillamook 2, is advertised as a queen bed but it was a king....which was a good surprise. Not much going on in this town except beautiful scenery.
Oceanside is my wife and my favorite beach to visit. The octopus tree and lighthouse are fun to visit. Plenty of awesome hikes. The beach itself is gorgeous, sun or rain. There are only a few eateries, but they are all at least decent.
Oceanside has spectacular outdoor activities and views without the touristy environment. Oceanside Inn is the best way to experience all the area has to offer visitors. Our room Tillamook Nook #2 was clean and cozy with all those wanted amenities. The staff was helpful and kind.
Oceanside is a very quiet, beautiful place. There isn't a lot going on or many places to eat, but if you are just looking to relax, it is perfect. I was only there for one night, but I was happy I made my way there. The room was in great condition, especially in comparison to some of the other places I had stayed on the coast at that same price point.
We spent 3 days in Oceanside and such a beautiful place. There is a great deck to sit on which overlooks the beach and ocean. We rented Nook 2 which was probably the smallest one although very clean and up to date. There was a coffee maker in the room, but you have to bring your own food/drink items. The town is small so no grocery store available. We would go back, but a little more prepared.
We loved our stay, balcony with steps to the beach was a very nice addition
My fiancé and I loved our trip to the Oregon coast. We stayed in Tillamook #2 with our chocolate lab and it was the perfect size for us. We aren't really homebodies, so didn't need a fancy kitchen. We brought a bit of food for breakfast/lunch and a little electric stove top to boil water for coffee/tea and oatmeal in the morning. Being right on the beach was also a bonus, the views were breathtaking and with such easy access to the beach we didn't have to worry about driving anywhere (just be careful once you get to the bottom of the stairs it's a little rocky). One really big bonus being a dog owner was the outdoor shower (with warm water) where we could rinse off our pup and dry her up before heading back inside. Previous reviews were right... there is very minimal cell reception so don't expect to be on your phone. Our wifi connection was good, it did disappear sometimes but that's what made it an even better GETAWAY. When we had it, we were mostly boasting about our trip. We are definitely excited to come back to Oceanside and definitely for longer next time.
Great location and beach access. The deck is fantastic on a beautiful day and/or evening. The shower outside is great for rinsing off sand. However, Tillamook #2 doesn't have a wine opener or hair dryer, which made it challenging since it was raining one day during my stay. Vacasa was unhelpful when I inquired about the wine opener. If you leave the property, there is no cell phone access in the whole town. So the Verizon extender on the property helps. Wifi worked fine and also helpful. Quaint place, not happy with management.
The Property Manager has placed a wine opener in the home. We appreciate the suggestion!
Good location in a quiet part of the coast. The hotel has been recently renovated and has a great deck overlooking the ocean. Parking here is not good- be forewarned. Tiny lot with fewer spaces than there are rental units. We enjoyed Tillamook Nook- the unit is tastefully decorated. Be aware that the wall separating this unit from the front one is extremely thin. You can hear literally everything. We enjoyed our time in spite of this but just a heads up.
The bedroom itself is small, and so is the bathroom, but nicely decorated, with good quality furniture. Bathroom very nice but again small. I am sure it is wonderful when the sun shines here, unfortunately we only saw fog.
Vacasa provided all that I needed for a peaceful, relaxing experience in Oceanside.
...to stay when in the area! The deck, view, and easy access to the beach below along with the easy parking and quiet location are beyond compare. We would love to stay here again in the future.
Beautifully decorated, comfortable (small) room with a terrific shower. But best of all was the shared deck area that looks out over the beach. Just perfect.
Beautiful property with a gorgeous view. The room was cute and very comfortable. The beach was fun to explore with lots of sea life. Only complaint would be thin walls and loud neighbors after quiet hours.
Great location, excellent views and clean facilities. Ready to go back.
My wife and I stayed at the Oceanside Inn, and found it to be a very nice property. Our stay in the Tillamook Nook was perfect because the room was all we needed for us as a couple and our dog as well. The deck overlooking the ocean was very scenic and agve you a view of everything going on at the beach up and down the coastline. We found working with Vacasa to be very easy and we never hit a snag along the way. We had originally planned on staying for late checkout on the day we were leaving and even paid the extra fee, but unfortunately there was an emergency that causes us to leave before the original checkout time. After a phone call and left message explaining the situation we received our late check-out fee back, and we thought that was really nice and much appreciated! Hats off to Vacasa for great customer service and the Oceanside Inn for being a great property to stay at.
Very nice & clean, place, with great views. I loved the patio deck, and the easy access to the beach. Enjoyed a some beautiful sunsets!
Small space, very clean, safe, beautiful view, with great beach access. Great location!! Would stay there again.
This is an absolutely beautiful spot, but it is not a hotel. Bring your own appliances and appointments other than linens. You'll need your own hangers, iron, coffee maker, clock, lighted mirror, etc.
I enjoyed the location, right beside the beach. The room was stylist, and comfortable.
Located yards from a very nice beach, the Tillamook Nook #2 is a very nice, inexpensive unit to rent. The bed was extremely comfortable and all amenities were provided. I loved the electronic entry without the hassle of keys or checking in. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit if you want a relaxing, hassle-free stay. The only drawback was that the 'Verizon home network extender' only functioned half the time and the Wi-Fi was spotty, but that wasn't a problem at all. Thank you vacasa and thank you, Oceanside!
Great spot to catch the gray whale migration.
This is a very small unit, but was perfect for my wife and I. The location is amazing sitting just above the beach. Loved the easy beach access.
There is absolutely no sound barrier between this unit and the adjoining unit (#1). They share a door and you can hear everything that is going on next door: TV, conversations, dishes, snoring, etc.
Everything else about the unit was great. It's in a great location and was clean and very well done overall. But having no privacy made it hard to relax and was a deal breaker for us. I would not stay in this unit again unless they do something about the noise.
We loved the room but the door adjoining to the other suite offered very little noise buffer. Very loud sounds from adjoining suite, could hear all activities and movies next door.
The Oceanside Inn was a place my family discovered many years ago and we always enjoyed our stay and Oceanside is our favorite beach destination. It has been awhile since we have stayed here and we have always occupied one of the bigger family units but this visit was just my daughter and myself, so we opted for one of the small rooms; by small, it was literally a bedroom and a small bath. There was not a lot of room and that would have been ok, had we not been able to hear everything going on in the room next to us through the adjoining door. It was quite distracting; hearing their conversations, what they were watching on television and listening to their small, equally vocal dog.
I do not know if the other rooms are similar but we ended up leaving early as it was not an environment we felt we could stay and be relaxed.
While I do love the beach and the surrounding area and our family will definitely return, we will chose another property.
Our only complaint was 2 of our 3 days we were woken to maintenance drilling and hammering right against our wall at 9am. No one warned us with a phone call or an email that this was happening. This was our birthday and Valentines vacation and our plan was to sleep in as late as possible as we never have a chance too in our daily lives. It was really disappointing. We understand that maintenance needs to be done and you don't always have a choice as to what time workers show to the jobsite. A warning would have been nice, a common courtesy.
Otherwise, the room was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The location was great and the view was incredible. Cape Lookout is very close and a moderate hike. Beautiful views from the top. We would definitely stay here again, but will ask if any construction and/or maintenance is scheduled during our stay!
We apologize that your mornings were interrupted and hope that you were still able to have a wonderfully romantic getaway!
Great room! This place is awesome for its price. One of the few places with stairs to the beach.
I will stay here again and again. The view was incredible, the room was incredible. I never would have expected such an amazingly delightful place. Quiet and sweet. Great for writing and contemplation (which is why I went). Thank you for having such an amazing property.
Loved staying at this rental. It was really a amazing experience. The beach is beautiful and the surrounding locations are as well. I will definitely be staying in the future. Such a peaceful place to stay and get away and just relax.
I've stayed in Oceanside many times over many years but never right on the beach. This a beautifully refinished accommodation. Great location!
Just happen to book because it was the last room to be had anywhere. Now this will be the only place I'll stay when traveling up that way.
You will not be disappointed. Apparenty, we were only the second people to rent this totally renovated room. The decor is very welcoming and calming, and you can't beat the views from the deck. There is no mini fridge, cups or ice in this room but we talked to the owners and he plans to install same. This unit is the only one on the property without a full kitchen, but is great for a weekend getaway.
staff was very friendly .
