Huge house, huge yard, and directly on the water. I would definitely stay here again - the place was very clean. I don't think the photos do the house justice - it is large, and you can definitely spread out. If you are fishing during a spring break trip - the rules are super specific (So I would look into it).

Great place. Lots of room and close to area trails. Actually snowed Christmas Eve and Day - was a nice surprise.

We loved the river side setting. Great location for WCU. The beds left a lot to be desired. Some moved to a couch due to beds being so uncomfortable. Foosball table was a huge hit!! Downstairs was awesome. The small kitchen was very nice on the bottom floor. Also, would be nice to have extra toilet paper available, especially with covid not knowing if a store will have any available.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Judiann. We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We appreciate you letting us know the beds may be in need of replacement. We will pass this information to our team for inspection. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

the home was great, wish we were able to use the river but it was cold when we went on our trip.

The river is awesome
Beds are terrible /sliding glass doors don’t work
Should smell clean and fresh when you walk in but doesn’t it was dirty was wounded if if the beds were even changed
Definitely not a place we will be going back too
Manager response:
Hi, Mark! We have sent maintenance to the home to ensure the sliding glass door and beds are in good condition. We were unable to detect any odor in the home but will be sure to keep an eye on it. Thanks!

If you like the sound of a river, this had decks with views and cold water for the floating.

Large house locared on the river. My family loved being able to walk out the back door and be right at the river. We have had alot of fun tubing. It's also located just a short drive away from the Cherokee/Bryson City area. We have actually rented this same home multiple years in a row and have really enjoyed our stay each year.

Booked home for family get together with son (who is a senior at WCU) and his friends. Loved the location, size of home and thanks to the hosts for making this home a pet friendly place. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Loved the double decks for outside lounging. I would highly recommend this home and will stay again the next time I stay at Western for the weekend.

Our family had a wonderful time. The kids played and tubed in the river and the adults fly fished.

The house is huge, went with a group and was concerned we might be cramped up, but not at this place. Definitely planning a return trip!
