Bayfront Views says it all. We were mesmerized by the dramatic tide levels in Netarts bay. The quiet mornings setting on the deck listing to the birds, watching the oystermen hard at work, the sun kissing the Three Arches, and the fog roll in and out. In the afternoons the coastal winds pick up, but not to worry, just move into the living room and enjoy the expansive views out of the wind. The beautiful well made home is a joy to stay in. It is a place to come and read, paint or just be quiet with your thoughts.

What I love about the Tillamook area is that is is not yet over run by tourists. There is a lot to do too, with many wonderful hikes and walks, kyacking, oystering, clamming, fishing, crabbing, a run on Oceanside beach, a meal at Rosanna’s, a visit to Latimer Quilt and Textile center as well as the countries largest wooden building which house the Air Muesum.

We have stayed in many vacation rentals all over the world and my husband and I were impressed at the ease of checking in and out of this vacation home. The only complaint about Vasca was that the website kept crashing, very cumbersome and slow to load.

This is a five star house, thank you to the hosts and owners of this home for sharing your wonderful place with us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Vacasa at Netarts. The location was great for the activities we enjoyed and the view of Netarts Bay was breathtaking. The home was very well decorated and furnished. It is unfortunate that there isn't safe access down to the waterfront directly. This would have made our visit, even more enjoyable. All in all we would probably stay again.
Karinda B. Nov 2018
Beautiful home secluded amongst tall trees on the Waters’s edge. Close to Tillamook amenities - fish, crab, clams and oysters at your backdoor. Well stocked kitchen to prepare a holiday feast. Awesome sunken tub and sauna. Clean and comfortable. Will be back again and again - it’s the best vacation spot on the coast. The manager Tom takes impeccable care of this property.

House was really nice. The power went out, but the stove top being gas and a gas fireplace made it work great. There was also a bundle of tea candles for us in the pantry. Thank You sooo MUCH!
Allison R. Sep 2018
Home in a very private location with beautiful and well cared for landscaping. Homeowner does a great job of filling all bird feeders prior to your arrival so that you can enjoy all of the various birds. Very large and nice deck with plenty of seating so that you can enjoy the incredible views of the bay. Home is clean and adequately stocked. I loved my stay at this home and would love to visit again in the future. However, as other reviewers mentioned, the homeowners do often stay in the apartment above the garage (as they did during our entire stay), and while they stay out of site as much as possible and are very pleasant when you do see them, I (like others) feel that their presence certainly detracts from the privacy element that we sought out. When I book next time, I will inquire to see if they will be there. I highly recommend this home as it truly is a tranquil location.

A great spot on the bay! Wonderful kitchen that was well stocked. Enjoyed nice mornings and nights on the deck taking in the view!
Anthony D. Aug 2018
Wonderful experience very relaxing.
Great house in a perfect location.
Karsten M. Aug 2018
The house is in very good shape and very clean. It is a great place to slow down and enjoy nature.
Michael B. Jul 2018
Wonderful rental located within several miles to Cape Lookout State Park as well as attractions in Tillamook. Overall the property has scenic views and amenities. The only drawback, which has been noted previously in other reviews, was the owners occupancy of the co-located apartment over the garage. While there was minimal interaction, if you are looking for complete privacy, I would recommend inquiring as to whether or not the owners will be present during your stay.
Lora C. Jul 2018
Lovely setting with no neighbors nearby. The house is nicely appointed and very comfortable. Beautifully landscaped. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.
patrick M. Jul 2018
Quiet, comfortable and lots of flowers and birds! Great place for a family of five. No access to beach from house, but a short drive north gave us an amazingly empty beach during low tide. Exploring was fun for the kids. Thanks for having us!
Ben L. Jun 2018
We really loved Bayfront Views. The house was terrific, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the view was truly spectacular. We got to meet the owner of the place who was really lovely (as was her sweet Labrador) because she stopped by in the middle of our weekend reservation to stay in the guest quarters above the garage. This admittedly caught us by surprise, and honestly diminished our overall enjoyment of the place because we felt we lost the privacy we felt we paid a premium to get. That being said, the place was 5 out of 5 stars. We'd probably reserve again but would probably verify if the place was to ourselves or not.
Zicra L. Apr 2018
I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Great base to explore the surrounding area, with wonderful hiking and beach-combing options. We stayed in early March, lucked out with one gorgeous day, and cozied up by the fireplace the rest of the time. Our dog loved it, too!
Kristina E. Mar 2018
This was such a beautiful house! Everything you could want was in the house. We cooked a lot of meals, and the kitchen was great! It was fully stocked, and we loved how open the house was. We watch beautiful sunsets and enjoyed the beautiful grassy/lawn area. Would stay here again!
Lori H. Mar 2018
Being right on the bay with full views the scenery was amazing and great to watch all the weather. Also saw wildlife after dark. A place to lay back and enjoy views and close to Netarts and Tillamook.
Kurt L. Feb 2018
Very nice home on the bay. It was a wee bit cold while we were there, but in the summer time I could see where it would be absolutely perfect. If you show up to this place late in the day, like near dark, you may have a bit of a challenge finding the place. Definitely you need to watch out for the little tiny vacasa sign and pay attention to google maps. If google says you have gone too far, then turn around because you missed the entrance. Don't try and open the garage door either. we thought we could park inside, but went to open the door and it made a real bad sound. So park outside. Also if you walk along the front of the cliff in front of the house to the right you will come to a small valley and this will take you down to a small spit of land that you can walk out on. Otherwise, mind your kids as there is a steep cliff right at the edge of the lawn. No fire pit, so you are SOL for a camp fire and roasting marshmellows. For the adults I suggest hitting the Pellican Brewery in Tillamook. Great beer.
Manager response:
We are pleased that the guests enjoyed the home and we appreciate their details with mapping the location. It's important to be clear that the small path and spit of land is not part of the property and should not be walked on. Please assume this is private property of a non-Vacasa owner and not trespassed upon. Thank you.
Jennifer W. Jan 2018
We absolutely loved staying here. The bay views are amazing. The property is private. The gardens are clearly well loved. The large windows were the perfect spot to watch the storm outside. The covered deck was a great place to read a book snuggled under a quilt listening to the rain. When the sun came out, we enjoyed the hiking and clamming nearby. Great house in any season in any weather!
Laurel K F. Nov 2017
We absolutely loved this spot on Netarts Bay. The house is just beautiful, a lovely craftsman style home, and the views out over the bay are wonderful. It was so nice to travel with our dog, and have the pleasure of staying in such a nice place. We found great places to eat, and wonderful beaches to walk, and the Netarts area is absolutely gorgeous.
Michael S. Oct 2017
The only part of our trip that wasn't ideal was the weather- it was a period of unusually heavy rain. The house was lovely with beautiful views and a lovely modern open kitchen to watch the Bay and cook some of the world class oysters from the Bay. So we still had a great time!
Marsha M. Oct 2017
We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful house on the bay. We enjoyed the gas grill and found the house to be generally well stocked with anything we needed~ absolutely loved having a French Press available!!
The views were outstanding~even during the frequent rain showers and we had a couple of great sunsets.
William H. Sep 2017
The house was clean and comfortable. The Bay was mostly a mud flat. There was not much to do in the area other than visit Tillamook.
Mary M. Sep 2017
This is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away. It is private and absolutely beautiful! The home is cozy and comfortable with everything you need. The view is breathtaking! It's a short drive to a couple of beaches, and not far to the Tillamook Cheese Factory and restaurants. The home is so lovely, I wish I had planned some easy dinners so we didn't need to leave to eat. It exceeded our expectations!
Allison G. Sep 2017
This was a great house with great views. The only disappointment was that there isn't access to the bay from the property. The beach is a drive, but we found the beaches fun once we got there. We loved sunsets and the kitchen was well stocked. The house layout was perfect. Thank you!
Lynn T. Aug 2017
This is the place to stay if you like peace and quiet with a beautiful view of Netarts Bay. Many hummingbirds and birds flying around as you watch the tide come in and out with fishermen getting oysters and clams right in front. Spectacular oysters for sale nearby which are tasty raw and on the BBQ!
Allan V. Jul 2017
Room to cook, play, enjoy the scenery. Isolated, yet just moments from Netarts and Oceanside. High bank waterfront, so bay is not accessible, but easy access close by including a wonderful, underused state park. Don't overlook the sauna. This place is very pet friendly. Our 14 yr old, blind Jack Russell could wander without extraordinary supervision. Plenty of room for younger and/or bigger dogs to romp.
The two bedrooms are large; master has an ensuite bath plenty of closet space. Four people can have a blast, additional day visitors can find comfort throughout.
Jeremy Z. Jul 2017
You can't ask for anything more. Only qualm is the washer/dryer aren't accessible unless you disturb the owners and don't mind doing your laundry in front of them.
Lorien A. Jun 2017
Beautiful and relaxing setting right on the bay. The house itself was very comfortable with all the amenities we could ask for. We got to meet the owner who stays in the garage right next to the home, which was a surprise, as we didn't see this in the property write up. However, they were extremely welcoming, nice, and not intrusive (barely saw them). I can't wait to stay here again and would recommend this home for anyone who wants to escape to this area of the coast!
Mark S. Jun 2017
Awesome views and comfortable home. I cant tell you about the town because we never left the home.We had everyrthing we needed and this house has just about has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay.
Edward T. Apr 2017
Very comfortable, good views, well appointed kitchen. Wifi pretty good, better than most. Lots of TV channels. Comfortable beds. Very quiet and private. The VCR was disconnected and the remote nowhere to be found. Not a big deal to us however so we didn't call anyone, so no idea if that would have been corrected. We would definitely go back.
Adam E. Apr 2017
We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back. Plenty of room for us two, and our 2 dogs. Rooms allow for a coziness if that is what you're in the mood for, but the home also feels roomy enough, especially with the backyard and deck area. Very nice kitchen for cooking. Downstairs bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well. View of the bay is great-lots of wildlife/bird activity to watch. Weather was often rainy for us, so we didn't spend too much time outside, but we hope to in the future. Instead we ran the fireplace much of the time and easily relaxed indoors with our dogs. Great location of property-an easy drive to lots of parks and natural areas for hiking and sightseeing. Tillamook is just a short drive away in case you need anything.
Sara J. Apr 2017
What an amazing property! So peaceful and tucked just far enough away to get an amazing break from busy life! We will most definitely be staying again. It was so refreshing:)
Joe S. Apr 2017
The home is very warm and inviting. The view of the bay is stunning. Very secluded and a great getaway from Portland.
Kelly N. Apr 2017
We had a wonderful time relaxing here and enjoying the amazing views. Very cozy and had everything we needed.

Even in the rainy month of March, it was still gorgeous. Loved watching the water all day, and walking on the beach just a 2 minute drive away. We saw blue heron and bald eagles cruising the gusty coast. It was glorious.
Barb M. Feb 2017
Great place for a family get together!
Lauren F. Dec 2016
This house exceeded our expectations! It was absolutely gorgeous. It was also secluded so you had privacy and quiet. We loved being on the water and the Sauna was a great bonus. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. We could have stayed forever! I would highly recommend this house!
Kerry . Nov 2016
We normally stay in Manzanita or Gearhart for coast getaways but went to Netarts for an oyster industry tour. This house is stunning---it's even better than the photos. The bay views are serene and the property is in excellent condition. We cooked in the kitchen both nights and can't wait to return. This house has absolutely everything you need.
Phyllis S. Oct 2016
Loved the privacy, normally would stay in a motel, not now that we found this place. Very clean, found everything we needed, as far as kitchen and towel etc. Absolutely Loved havin a glass of wine on the deck and listening to the ocean!! Views were Spectacular!!
Brad W. Oct 2016
We had a great time
Erica L. Oct 2016
Blissfully private- turn all the outdoor lighting off at night and enjoy the stars!!
Doug D. Sep 2016
This beautiful home that sits on a wonderfully designed and maintain landscape. Brings you to a place you feel you are far away from the stress. A welcoming home takes you in and makes you feel so relaxed. Double sliding doors off the master bedroom, to a darling veranda, which allows you to see the bay and wildlife. The stars and sweet smell of the ocean breeze makes a very calming, tranquil. Thank you so much......Made our trip....
Angie R. Sep 2016
No visible or audible neighbors at all, with an amazing view of the bay and the distant roar of the ocean in the background. The sauna was a nice and unexpected touch, and very relaxing after a weekend of exploring.

There seemed to be a lot of thought put into making the rental comfortable: grill tools at the grill, coffee, filters, tea and sugar all at the coffee pot, full bird feeders, etc.

We really utilized the kitchen since we had our puppy and couldn't dine out, and it had everything we needed to cook. It's not stocked as a chef's kitchen, but we made burgers, pasta, eggs, hashbrowns, and more all without problem. There were a few condiments already and we left a few too, so I'd recommend checking the fridge before shopping if you plan on eating in much.

Overall, this rental is an amazing getaway and we will be making our way back sometime in the future for sure!
Lynda M. Aug 2016
Beautiful home, every convenience, lots of fun things to do in the area. Would stay here again!
Carol W. Jul 2016
Beautiful, secluded but convenient coastal rental. The Oregon coast fantastic in it's own right but this place is absolutely made our vacation special. I'd go again in a heartbeat.
Daren L. Jul 2016
We booked this property for 2 nights over the 4th of July. It was Amazing! It was actually WAY better than the pictures. There is a TV in the living room, the gas fireplace is warm and cozy. The view is perfect. There were LOTS of items in the kitchen! The place was dead silent and couldn't be improved on! It's a great value!
Anthony D. Jun 2016
A lovely home maintained to the highest standards.
A serene location. Private with stunning view of Netarts bay and birds.
Feroz Ahamed I. Jun 2016
A very beautiful home with a view that would make time stand still. The location is perfect for a quiet and private vacation and the view of the bay is amazing especially at high tide on a moonlit night. There are some amazing beaches at Oceanside town which is only 3 miles away.
Gayane M. Apr 2016
I loved the place. Very quiet. Beautiful surroundings. With cup of tea in the evening on the deck you can forget about the rest of the world.
Nancy K. Mar 2016
The stay here was very enjoyable. The home was very comfortable and clean and our group of 6 were very comfortable here. The only aside is that it appears from the website that there is beach access from the property (a picture of a staircase). This was not the case. However, we already knew of our favorite spots in Netarts to access the beach, it just took a bit of a drive.
James B. Mar 2016
Had such an amazing time in this awesome house. Defiantly want to go there again
Mariellen F. Nov 2015
What a lovely home! We had such a nice relaxing stay. The weather was gorgeous and the view is AMAZING.
Jennifer D. Nov 2015
Thanks so much for sharing such a beautiful house and location. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely come back!
Leland H. Nov 2015
Highly recommended.
Shelli B. Aug 2015
The owners were friendly and helpful. The property is very well kept and the view is amazing. We spent a lot of time on the patio watching the hummingbirds around the property and the birds and the tides on the bay. We took advantage of the full kitchen (full grocery in Tillamook) and visited a great, local seafood shop in Netarts (Floyd's) where we got local salmon and crab. We got our limit in little neck crabs (with help from the owners), hiked, and visited Oceanside, Cape Lookout, Cape Meares, and Tillamook Creamery. All of those sites are very close to the property. We also took a day trip to Seaside and Cannon Beach, which was only 1-2 hours north. Great spot!
Allicyn T. Jul 2015
The house was great, very clean and inviting. Great place for peace and quiet. Sunsets here are the highlight as you relax on the deck and sip your favorite drink!
Kerri D. Apr 2015
We really loved this home and location. Things we loved: clean, awesome view, well stocked, comfortable bed, pet friendly, private. Things that would make it even better: king size bed in master. We normally don't even consider homes that don't have a king size bed; however, everything else was so great.....we compromised. At least the bed in the master was very comfortable. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
GREG L. Mar 2015
We enjoyed our stay - pictures were as posted and home was very clean.
We enjoyed how quite it was and watching the tides come in and out of the bay.
Highly recommend.
Richard K. Mar 2015
If you are looking for thundering surf, crashing outside your bedroom window, this is not the rental for you! If you desire peaceful serenity, surrounded by breath-taking natural beauty, look no more. You have found it!
Set in a forest, on a bank overlooking Netarts Bay, this is one of the most comfortable and fascinating rentals we have ever stayed in. We were here for ten days in late February, and we had great fun, exploring the entire Three Capes area.
The house is very well-equipped. However, it would be nice to have a television on a wall in the living room. As it is, the only TV is in the main-floor bedroom, and unless you want to go to bed to watch TV, there is no comfortable spot for viewing. The bench provided is probably okay for kids, but certainly not for adults. Also, to afford better privacy when someone is using the suite above the garage, there should be coverings on the adjacent windows.
Otherwise, we were so content and mesmerized, watching the ever-changing views of the bay - the shifting light and tides, the waterfowl activity, the oyster pickers and clam diggers - we felt we'd like to stay for ever. A memory to cherish! And we do thank the owners and Vacasa for that!
Manager response:
We appreciate your thoughtful review. This beautiful home is a perfect getaway for anyone looking for beautiful scenery, peace & quiet and a comfortable home to enjoy time with friends and family. We are so very pleased to hear that the home was a perfect it for you, We hope you'll come visit again. We are also pleased to announce that the home has a new TV in the living room so that the whole family can comfortably enjoy it! Thank you for choosing Vacasa.
Pete Y. Dec 2014
We extended our stay twice - we loved the private location. Would recommend that the owner install at least one full-length mirror (we used the house for the bride to get ready for her wedding so a full -length mirror would have been helpful.) Also recommend detachable shower heads. The jacuzzi was wonderful. Very comfortable place. Not too big and not too small - just right!
Ronald B. Oct 2014
Wonderful, secluded, clean, well organized, everything we needed....We will be back!!
Lauris W. Sep 2014
This is a lovely home located on a private lot with beautiful views of Netarts Bay. If you like bird watching there are lots of pelicans, herons, seagulls, etc.to entertain you! Even with some rain and cloudy weather we had a very enjoyable time. The rear deck is partially covered so even in the rain you can hang outside if the temps are mild. The outdoor sauna is located just a short distance from the home and was a nice feature. We would definitely stay here again. It was well cared for and very clean.
Cynthia L. Sep 2014
Beautiful home! One of the nicest vacation rentals, and we've rented many. Very private, peaceful and beautifully appointed. We had a wonderful time....the location is close to the interesting points south and north. The views are spectacular.
Cindy O. Jul 2014
This is a beautiful home and property tucked among the trees and facing Netarts Bay. The home is secluded and out of sight of 2 nearby homes and the highway; a very quiet location. The home, gardens and view are beautiful, welcoming and well tended. There is much to do in the area and you may not feel like leaving at all as the view of the bay is mesmerizing as the light and tides change throughout the day. It was a very special week. Our first experience with Vacasa; they were very easy to work with and would recommend them.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review. It's a pleasure to hear that you enjoyed your stay in this secluded, beautiful home. We agree that the home, gardens and view are simply spectacular. We appreciate your recommendation and hope you'll allow Vacasa to assist in planning your next getaway!
Margery E. Jul 2014
This house was very nice. It had almost everything we needed for cooking and comfort. A hot tub would be fantastic because the weather is so cold! Beautiful flowers and landscaping. Hummingbirds were fun to watch too.
Annette B. Jul 2014
The decor of the house and yard had many personal and loving touches that made it truly homelike. It was also very child friendly. We would like to come back again and again.
Frances N. Apr 2014
We arrived at 5:00 pm on Friday evening at the start of one of the best sunsets I've ever seen. The sun was setting over the bay water. The sunset went on and on for hours, changing from one color to another. We sat on the deck with our friends and just watched it until it was all done.
Manager response:
Wow, I love this review! So glad you got to watch the sunset upon arrival. It sounds spectacular!
K. L. Feb 2014
This property is surrounded by trees and not neighbors, this makes it so serene. The views are amazing. The home is extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen is better equipped than most beach rentals. This property is advertised on more than one website. The website I viewed it on did not mention a potential for the owner or their guests to be staying above the garage during our visit. I found out during our stay that another website did warn of this possibility. While there was nobody else on the property, the idea that this could be so made me a little anxious. The privacy of the property would make it awkward to be shared with people outside your party. Other than this, I would stay here again and absolutely enjoyed the comforts of this home.
Melva B. Dec 2013
Lovely spot! Extremely well equipped kitchen with lots of pantry items for use. Nice arrangement for two couples!
Jack D. Nov 2013
Very clean. Very well equipped. Very secluded. Very quiet. We couldn't have been more pleased. Our biggest complaint... Need instructions on how to turn on the second floor shower. We finally figured it out. Also, t.v. in the living area instead of the bedroom would be nice. But, if that's the extent of any suggestions we may offer, this property is easily a 5-star. Vacasa was very helpful to us and it's obvious that the owners care about this nice property. We hope to return. THANKS!
Manager response:
We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Thanks for the fantastic review as well as the suggestions. We appreciate it and will see what we can do to make it even better. Thanks!
Elizabeth A. Oct 2013
I was just looking through our vacation pictures (trying to keep that feeling alive a few more minutes) and miss sitting on the deck at sunset watching ALL THE BIRDS ... hearing the surf in the background etc. The house was SPLENDID. We explored around Cape Lookout, Oceanside, and drove up to Cannon Beach and Ecola St. Park (1hr north) for our beach fixes. The house ... the layout ... the amenities ... the cleanliness... the cheerfulness ... the grounds ... the PRIVACY - were exactly what we wanted. It made me feel like our money was WELL SPENT. We drove in to Netarts and bought crab (on CRAB AV ha ha) and took it to the RV park near Schooners and had them cooked for $1 per crab! It was so much fun! Thank you for showing us a magical time - I will DEFINITELY use VACASA again in the future. Hopefully the towns will expand as the business grows. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES!
Manager response:
Thank you so very much for a fantastic review of your stay and experience. It makes us happy to hear that you had such a wonderful time. We look forward to seeing you next time!
Dave G. Oct 2013
We found this home away from home a true delight. Each space was a feast for the eyes, so well thought out. A lovely, secluded spot , with interesting views. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in your sweet home. Thank you for making it available.
Shinwon C. Oct 2013
Great house for older folks. Would not recommend for younger crowd since there is no wi-fi.
Manager response:
Thanks for your great review. We truly appreciate it and hope to see you again sometime soon. We also would like you to know that we have Internet in this home now for all of our valued guests to enjoy!
Thorsten E. Oct 2013
The Bayfront Views is really a great place to relax and calm down. Just sitting on the porch reading, listening to the birds or watching the squirrels running around is fantastic. The house is very cozy and decorated with so much love for details. You really feel at home right away. We really had a lovely stay! Thanks a lot for this home away from home.
Kurt W. Sep 2013
We came back for a 2nd slightly longer visit and just love the home so much, that we'll be back (actually very hard to leave it in the first place). Stock up at Safeway in Tillamook and enjoy yourself. We bought a couple of camp/beach chairs to use as we visited different sites to picnic/relax.
Jane D. Aug 2013
I wrote a comment last time and it still applies! We had a marvelous time at this lovely home. Thank you all
Steve S. May 2013
This home was so peaceful and quiet, as if in the middle of a secluded rain forest. If your intent is to get away from the hustle and bustle of real life, this is certainly the place. Lovely home to relax in.
Lisa S. May 2013
We could not have asked for a better getaway. We spent our evenings letting the kids play in the backyard while watching the sunset and enjoying a glass of wine. There were plenty of fun family hikes and beautiful beaches to explore during the day so mom and dad had no problem putting the little ones down to sleep at bed time.
LuAnn K. Apr 2013
We wanted to celebrate a birthday with friends at the coast. The home was beautifully built, very warm and comfortable. Could not have asked for more. Everyone relaxed on the spacious deck on a Sunny afternoon that topped our experience. Gardens were beautiful and a wonderful manicured lawn. More relaxation was had by some in the jacuzzi tub and the sauna. I would recommend to anyone!
Manager response:
Thank you for your review - we are glad you enjoyed your birthday and we look forward to having you back for more fun events!
Ashley A. Apr 2013
We brought our parents here to celebrate my day's 70th birthday milestone, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the house, the property, everything. What a wonderful place to spend a few relaxing days at the coast. This is the loveliest rental we have ever stayed in and we have been to to some beautiful places. Can't wait to return!
Dan C. Mar 2013
This house is absolutely beautiful; newer construction, great layout and terrific design; I would love to live here! I didn't know much about Netarts Bay area before, but now I realize that this is among the best locations on the Oregon Coast. If you like peace and quiet, privacy, comfort, and beautiful surroundings, this has it all. So very nice to have absolutely no visible neighbors and acres of private surroundings. An equivalent home on Cannon Beach would cost at least 3 to 4 times as much and you'd have other homes stacked up next to you and would need good curtains. This home doesn't have curtains, and doesn't need them because only the birds will see you. There are so many areas nearby to do sightseeing, but this property was such a sight; we didn't want to leave!
Manager response:
Thank you for the great review of our home. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to having you back soon.
Betsy D. Mar 2013
In general terms, this was a terrific place. The house is roomy, of high quality construction and fully operational as a residence and not a make-do vacation cottage. The kitchen has more equipment than mine at home. Everything worked. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and attractive.

We rented this particular house for a few specific reasons, among them the sauna and access to the water. The sauna was wonderful. However, the way down to the water was impassable because there has been a cave-in of the bank. Since the house was billed as having water access, it would have been fair if we'd been notified ahead of time, and given the chance to cancel. I'm not sure we would have, but would have felt better about everything if we had been informed.

The house was easy to find, secluded but close enough to the road and stores in Tillamook. We saw two does outside in the morning, and down the road a herd of elk grazing in the evening. We would definitely come again, especially if there is access to the water restored.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback! I am so sorry to hear that the pathway was impassable during your stay. I would be disappointed too! We will certainly let our future guests know; and we are grateful for the heads up.

This place is ideal if you are looking for privacy, a break from the digital world and a cleanse from urban living in general. The view is peaceful and restorative from every window in the house including the sauna, which was a fantastic addition to our vacation. Between the view, the gas fireplace, the jacuzzi tub, the sauna, the memory foam bed and the gourmet kitchen. It's pretty much impossible to not leave this place feeling refreshed and renewed.

This was a beautiful house in a fantastic location, perfect for a restful get away. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and seclusion. A setting ideal for renewal and rejuvenating of the soul!

We had a truly magical experience. From the powerful winter storm to the calm sunny aftermath, the roomy home with its inviting warm hearth, the awesome community and incredible convenience to all amenities and the peace and contentment we all felt during our short but wonderful stay. Will be apart of our memories forever. Thanks!!

The people at Vacasa were excellent and a pleasure to work with. The property was fantastic and we hope to return next year to enjoy the incredible outdoor space

We absolutely loved the location. No other houses in sight and right on the bay. The view is incredible from just about every room in the house. We loved watching the tide and the wildlife. We even got a clear night (in rainy November) with a fantastic golden sunset -- including a beautiful reflection of wispy pink clouds and pale blue sky across the water -- and then a sky full of stars! We used the sauna every day and enjoyed the furnishings and sweet decorative touches throughout the home. Would recommend this property without reservation to anyone looking for elegance, comfort, and quiet in a beautiful natural setting.

This home was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet weekend getaway - private, clean and cozy.

Dolph and I have been renting properties at the coast for 15 years, and we have our stable of favorites, but after one stay, this property is our absolute favorite. Clean, well-appointed, great place to cook, quiet and a relaxing aesthetic. The sauna is a real treat!

The house on Whiskey Creek is by far the best vacation rental we have experienced and we've done a lot! Stunningly beautiful location, with just water, sky and wildlife to see and hear. The home itself is glorious... beautifully constructed, decorated and appointed. It stormed for most of the week and we didn't care. We were content from in front of the gas stove, with books, newspapers and QUIET. We can imagine this place in sunshine and will be back. Thanks to the owners and Vacasa. Jane & Ray in Portland, OR

We had a fabulous time at this house. The house was beautiful inside and out. We loved watching the birds in the bay and sitting out on the deck. We also loved cooking in the kitchen! Would love to come back again to this very house. We loved the quaint little town of Netarts and Oceanside. Highly recommend. The staff at Vacasa was very helpful and friendly.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. We absolutely love the beauty, quiet, serene surroundings. We hope to stay there again sometime.

What a great home and great location. We looked forward to celebrating sunsets on the deck. All the decorative touches made it feel like a home. Incredibly well stocked kitchen plus music and books. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

After our first stay here last year, we could not stop thinking about coming back and I was worried that our imagination had built an ideal vacation home which only existed in our memories. When we actually arrived again this summer, we were not disappointed. The location, the view, the setting, the facility, everything was just a beautiful as we remembered it. Now the bad part is we will have to spend another year thinking about coming back for our next visit.
Mila V. Jul 2012
The house is beautifull with goergeous views. We brought several things we thought we might need but everything was there including coffee, shampoo, hairdryier - it felt like being at home.
Joni D. Jul 2012
We very much enjoyed this tranquil property. Perfect for two couples. Would have loved an outdoor fire pit for the cool evenings. Great house if you like privacy and quiet beach time. clamming right out front, will bring our gear next time.

This is a special place if unplugging from "real" life and watching the natural world is what you are looking for. The Bald Eagles circle overhead during the day, the Swainson's thrushes call to each other at dusk and in the early morning, and twice daily, the tide comes in and goes out, revealing a changing view of sparkling water and bare mud flats by turns, with heron and humans, fishing and clamming. The house itself is roomy and there is a great kitchen for preparing meals with friends and family. No TV in the common area, and no Wi-Fi means books, games and conversation take center stage.

Being that we are technical junkies, we thought no wi-fi would be difficult enough. Then, when we arrived to find the ONLY t.v. in the downstairs bedroom, we almost turned around and drove home. Our teenage son immediately took up residence in front of the t.v. Later, we all drove to Tillamook and bought DVD's. Every night we made popcorn/chocolate chip cookies and had a great time hanging out as a FAMILY...we spent more time with our son in those four days than we probably have all year. If there had been more than one t.v., he would have watched his and we would've watched ours; in seperate rooms. We also ate all of our meals as a family, at the table. The view was so gorgeous from the greatroom style living/dining room that it was easy to do so.
All in all, this has been our greatest beach getaway yet. It was so quiet, so peaceful and most important, so TOGETHER...
Anusha D. Apr 2012
Loved the views!!! Could not get enough of it. We went in early spring, so got a little rained in, but that was wonderful too. Oceanside has really good food and breathing views.
Carol T. Apr 2012
A slice of heaven. Wonderful place, fantastic view of the bay. Peaceful, quite, private. Plan on coming again soon:)!
David F. Apr 2012
As long as one is prepared to venture forth by car to go to find beach or bay access, this is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The house is beautiful with a great modern kitchen and all of the appointments one would desire.
Renee K. Mar 2012
Great place to stay- sauna was enjoyable, view is nice, house is lovely.
Jon K. Mar 2012
We were so happy when we showed up and the house totally exceeded our expectations. Very clean and such a beautiful spot for a vacation rental.
We plan on coming back.
Jill T. Feb 2012
The home was comfortable, we cooked all of our meals with ease. This was the perfect spot to vacation with our dog. We would come here again. The water was a little difficult to access from the home and you have to drive a few miles for nice "beach" but staying here was worth it!
Gregory O. Feb 2012
Stayed here in February while visiting family in Netarts. Slightly more expensive than staying in one of the hotels in Tillamook or Netarts, the value of the lodging was far superior to staying in a hotel. We enjoyed a spacious home to ourselves and there was plenty of room for my spouse, our little one, and myself. Reservation was easy, managment was accomadating to special requests, the home was very clean, well stocked, and as comfortable as staying in our own home on vacation. The views were excellent, and the property is quiet, secluded, and spacious. We have recommended this company and property to family and friends, and will continue to use them for our vacation and possibly future management needs.

This was our first trip to the coast and this property is exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful view of the bay, private, beautiful home. Planning to come back soon.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this lovely vacation home. Everything felt "just right". The sauna was a perfect way to end our days. There was a terrific windstorm but the power was only off overnight on our last night. High praise for our first VRBO experience!
Kirk R. Nov 2011
Beautiful house on the water. Very comfortable with an amazing view of the water from the back deck. Located near many ocean views and hiking.
We very much enjoyed the sauna and bathtubs with jets. A great place for our Thanksgiving holiday.

For the ladies - need a dreamy retreat? Well, this is it...my very best friend (50 years) and I celebrated our 60th birthdays' in this gorgeous home. Left our husband's at home and spent a glorious week together. This lovely home was just perfect in so many ways...the weather was wonderful, the view awesome, so noisy neighbors and the nearby towns charming. We spent a week in heaven!
Gail L. Sep 2011
This is an awesome house and we hope to stay again in the future. We saw birds that we never see in our area and loved the hummingbirds and resident bunny. We appreciated that the house is maintained so well and the seclusion made it so peaceful and relaxing.
Beth P. Sep 2011
This is a beautifully crafted newer home with a completely windowed living room and huge porch/patio overlooking Netarts Bay. Everything about it is comfortable. While there is no access to the bay (which are mud flats when the tide is out - no beach), the bird life is fascinating to watch and the shifting tidal sandbars create a moving landscape in front of you. There is easy beach or kayak access nearby. We had a lovely stay!
Manager response:
Thank you for your review! We look forward to having you return!
Paul H. Aug 2011
Our stay at Bayfront Views was wonderful. The home was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet, extremely private yet close to many sightseeing points and only a short drive into Tillamook. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay a bit longer. We definitely recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.
Carol N. Aug 2011
The home was absolutely beautiful and well equipped. I had to force myself off the huge deck to come inside to see what the home had to offer. Thanks for sharing your place with us and we would love to stay again.
Christopher L. Jun 2011
This house was quite nice - it was well appointed, had a wonderful location, and was full of wildlife to watch. We found it to be an excellent place to relax and enjoy the panoramic view. It was entertaining to see the herons, typically described as "solitary" birds feeding in large groups. One picture I took has 62! There were plenty of other sea and shore birds, as well as an otter as well. We plan on returning in the future.
Jason T. Jun 2011
Everything was great! Perfect place for dogs to roam.
Valerie S. May 2011
Great spot, and we thought we knew about every mile of the coast. The views were fabulous, tons of birds, great sunsets, close to multiple huge beaches, lucky to hit great weather and minus tides as well.
Lindsey T. Apr 2011
Great private location, great layout, great kitchen, great sauna. The best place I've stayed on the coast. Thanks for the lack of "rules" posted everywhere and for the tasteful, non-nautical decor.
