Great location. Quiet and comfortable.
It was quiet and a awesome place to stay !! We loved it !! It was very clean and only slept there as we attened a family reunion in the community center !! It was awesome !! Thank you very much !!
nice layout, well equipped
We loved this house. It was perfect for our family, we didn't bring or did this time but definitely will next time, great place for kids and dogs. Plenty of room and choose to the beach which we loved. We also loved their movie selection and toys. Thanks!
Comfortable, close to the beach, lots of natural light, well stocked kitchen, nice book and movie collections.
We travel often to the coast and have stayed in houses that are newly built and ones that definitely show their age. This house is up there with some of the better ones. It's not perfect, but for the price it can't be beat.
Close to the beach
Ton of movies & books
Excellent water pressure
The comforters are dated and not very warm
There are no non-stick pans in the house (not a biggie)
WiFi is pretty weak
Heating is all baseboard so I worry it would be cold in the winter.
Regardless though, we had a great three days and wouldn't hesitate to return (although we'd probably bring our own comforters).
We appreciate the guests feedback. The owner has purchased cooking spray to help with the non stick pans and will be purchasing new comforters for guests satisfaction.
It was a real treat to be able to bring our dog to the beach. The house is very comfortable, and clean. The yard needs work, and I wished I had brought my gloves and gardening tools. We enjoyed the walk down to the beach, and exploring the hillside town. The beach is fabulous! The two cafes are sweet, as well. It was a plus that my husband could pick up a paper on his morning run. The house is bright and light, and we’re looking forward to seeing future updates. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great location and great home. Just blocks to the beach in Oceanside, we walked down a easy hill and you are there.
Kitchen was fully stocked, we cooked meals every day and had everything we needed.
Furnishings could use some updating, specifically the beds. not the best.
We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful neighborhood. House was better then the pictures show.
Very nice house. Wonderful fully stocked kitchen. Lots of books and DVDs.
Inspect entire property prior to renting.
We really enjoyed this beach house. Very vintage beach style. Not too fancy to make you uncomfortable if you have kids and pets. Split bedroom floor plan was nice. Close to the beach! Plenty of reading material, dvds, games, puzzles and random toys for kids and pets! Plenty of parking.
This little beach house was the perfect place for our family of four. It was very clean with a bright kitchen and super cozy couch to relax on after a busy day at the beach. All of us used the larger bathroom for showers, since the smaller bathroom seemed more conducive to baths. We enjoyed cooking dinners and had everything we needed to make meals. We were very impressed by the movie selection and we would have loved to watch some of them if we had more time. Also, we slept great. The beds were comfortable, and it was so quiet and peaceful at night, as well as during the day. Great location to enjoy a walk to the beach or drives to other great beaches. Our trip to Cannon Beach was lovely, and we really enjoyed walking on the beach and eating crepes in the bustling town. Beware of your speed on the winding coastal roads, as they do not seem to be adequately marked with speed limits.
The house is pretty nice.
- lots of videos
- kids toys
- pretty good experience with kitchen and bedrooms
- sofa in the leaving room is dusty
- the grill is old
- no AT&T coverage in whole the city of Oceancity, OR
- the internet is very poor: 0.7 Mbps, you can't pay to Centurylink for the service like this, Centurylink should pay you for such a trolling.
Relaxing time and comfy get together at this house. The LR couch is incredible and loved the art and maps around the house. Books by the bazillion and lots of CDs Movies and kid to do things. Queen BR is roomy and near larger bathroom. The kitchen dining area was a plus while the main dining area was larger and great for meals and games. Tons of kitchen items to throw together meals.
And our four legged friends could be with us. Such a deal.
It is a clean and cozy, quiet lil' home. Had everything we needed! Was a perfect size for our family of four. So peaceful and just a quick walk or drive to the beach. Oceanside is quiet small town with just a couple places to eat, but Tillamook is only 10 mins away with a store and restaurants so this wasn't an issue. The beach itself is a popuar one!! We were happy with our stay. The only drawback - no cell services. It was stated that it could be limited - but we had none. That made it difficult to keep tabs on teens and to look up things on the spur of a moment. Guess I use my phone more than I thought and it's just something to consider. The house has wifi, but when we all tried to use it ... well, we couldn't all at once. Overall, it's a nice older home to get away to.
