Coastal home with ocean view, beachfront, & outdoor dining

This gorgeous, bay-front cabin offers the perfect getaway for any group or family. A wall of windows in the main living space means the view is almost as spectacular from inside the home as outside. The open kitchen inside features plenty of counter space and all the gadgets you need to prep a meal. When it's time to eat, take advantage of multiple decks with dining spaces and a grill, perfect for entertaining.

Just a short walk down the stairs on the back of the home is the beach. On the beach, you can dig for clams and during the winter fish for salmon. Several miles of beachcombing is at your doorstep – watch for bald eagles soaring above. Only 15 minutes from the home is Anderson Lake State Park where you can hike, bike, and walk the trails around the lake, and 20 minutes away is Marrowstone Point, with a historical lighthouse and beach front to walk along. The home is also close to Olympic National Park with many hiking and sight-seeing experiences.

When you return home after a day of adventuring, get the wood-burning stove going and step back out onto that deck for a view of the glorious night sky. The Milky Way might be putting on a show for you, and lucky guests may catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis. Either way, toast your luck at booking such a lovely getaway.

We arrived at night so when we woke up in the morning the the stunning ocean view, we were shocked. It looked like we were on a boat! This cabin is well-equipped for a cozy stay, with plenty of firewood for the stove in the living area, great kitchen space, and a little lit path directly to the ocean. I’d stay here again. Such adorable west coast cabin vibes.

This is a very nicely built home and great location. The stay was almost perfect except for the bed. I’m not sure how anyone can sleep on it, the wife and I still have sore backs three days later. If an actual bed was put in I would definitely come back!
Manager response:

Unfortunately took us 30 hours after we were scheduled because of flight cancellations etc. So only had 1 night but it was a great place to stay. Beautiful scenery to wake up to. All the needed amenities. Clean.

The owners did a great job making the cabin lovely.

Ideal location for exploring the northeast Olympic Peninsula. Serene setting with captivating views stretching from Oak Bay just below the cabin to Mount Baker and the Cascades. Easy access to outdoor adventures in several nearby state parks, Olympic National Forest, and Olympic National Park. And close enough to Port Townsend to enjoy its dining and entertainment opportunities. A well equipped kitchen, eclectic library, board games, and comfortable indoor and deck spaces also make it a great place to kick-back, relax, and watch the birds and boats go by.

Loved getting up in the morning and looking out to see the sunrise from the upstairs bed....didn’t even have to get out of bed! Windows and decks every where...what more do you need?

We had rented the home for a getaway for our family, very secluded and great view. I had booked the home mostly because of the beach access since I thought it would be great for our 5 year old however the “beach“ wasn’t what we had expected. Other than that, great little cabin in the woods.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Rebecca! We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to read you were not happier with your beach experience. Please feel free to reach out with any specific concerns. We hope to see you again!

Our family loved this place! Breathtaking views and the house was amazing. Zero complaints...all was perfect! We will definitely rebook again. Thanks for the memories.

I absolutely loved my 4 night stay at this Oak Bay Cabin! Vacasa is always a dream to work with as a management company and the few items I found out of place (some trash in the bathroom, a few dishes unwashed in the sink and a full trash can) I’m confident will not be an issue in the future.

The beaches are beautiful and the walkway and stairs well maintained. The kitchen is well appointed with everything I needed for basic cooking chores. A dishwasher would be a bonus, but with just me it was easy enough without. There is even an extensive binder on all of the cabin’s amenities, local expectations as far as property rights and beach walks and some family history. It was enjoyable to look through.

As in other reviews, the only thing really keeping me from a 5 star rating is that this cabin needs an actual bed. The fold out is workable, but myself over 50, by day four I was feeling the few metal parts the fold out has as supports. There is truly room for a queen sized or even King sized bed upstairs so it’s a mystery why this hasn’t been rectified yet.

All in all, even with the fold out, I would stay again... just not past 4 nights.
Manager response:
Hi, Stacey! We appreciate your feedback. The owner is not planning on purchasing a bed as they like the option of the sofa beds. Thank you!

Lovely spot on bay, we had a beach fire , roAsted marshmallows with the kids and stared out at the water. Very clean -had all we needed ( minus a dishwasher- I say that cause that makes me the dishwasher ! ) otherwise all perfect !

as advertised, this is a cute cabin in a great location.
direct beach access, conveniently close to Port Townsend, yet wonderfully secluded. not much luxury, but the fold out couch is just fine. somewhat limited outlets, no direct sunlight on the back deck, no cable/streaming services, but great location to unplug for a few days!

Very nice property. Enjoyed the beach. Visited Port Townsend for dinner. Highly recommend Alchemy restaurant, ask for Camron at the bar, he’s amazing.
