We enjoyed the property, it's much nicer than the pictures show. In a quiet neighborhood just a short drive outside Tahoe City. Our only feedback would be the kitchen could be stocked a bit better for cooking, maybe a few items like foil, salt, pepper, maybe some plastic wrap and most important coffee filters!! Basic sundries you need but don't think about. Firewood would be an amazing bonus, but it is for sale in town. The only real negative was the bed and pillows. The primary bed was big but unless you slept in the middle it felt like you were going to roll off it. Like the springs are worn out or something. And the pillows were very flat. Having a couple fluffier options would have been cool. Regardless, a really nice place.

We stayed last year at the same time and it was a great property that enabled a family gathering for skiing. We had some problem with the water heater for 6 people that we didn't have last year but Vacassa service was fantastic and we got immediate service. There is also a problem with the front door lock that needed to be fixed because it locks you out and needs to be replaced. So we went through the hassle of keeping the key always out but I hope that will be fixed soon. Other than that it is a well equipped beautiful house.

Location was awesome, very close to Lake Tahoe which could be seen be seen with a very short walk from house (few feet). Amazing views!!! Very close to town, Tahoe City which is very beautiful!! Home was more rustic than described or pictured and in need of updates with worn carpet and no A/C. Upstairs bedroom has no door thus some lack of privacy if adults are in that room.

Great place to stay and great location.

The cabin was quaint and as pictured. We arrived at dark and it warmed up quickly and we felt at home. We brought our puppy with us and she loved the place. It was her first experience with snow, so find a poop/pee spot was a challenge. Under the porch proved to be perfect!

We were a family of four and we each found our respective living areas comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked both nights we were there.

Since we arrived at dark it wasn’t until the next day that we realized this property was in need of some tax on the outside. It was obviously older and smaller than the surrounding homes

No complaints. Everything was as expected. Would gladly stay here again.

We had a crew for five days supporting an Ultra Runner in a race around Lake Tahoe. Everyone loved the house as it was the right size, clean and enough comfortable beds for all.

The house was in a great, convenient location for skiing. It was clean and had everything we needed as a family of four with two teenagers and a small dog.

Very cozy, with comfy beds and a great kids space in loft. Loved the vintage children’s books!! Kitchen would benefit from a few more pots and pans. I made a shepherds pie and had to be creative since making the stew and mashed potatoes at same time. Other than that we loved the house!
