Unique P. Dec 2021
I loved everything about the condo. It was truly beautiful and the perfect amount of space for my family. The only downside is most condo on the beach keep and buckets shovels for the kids to play with, beach towels/ blankets and have beach chairs. This condo only had 2 mildew chairs. I bought a few buckets and shovels so hopefully the next family will be able to enjoy them.

This condo was well-decorated, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook family meals during our visit. The real disappointment was in the complex. Laketown Wharf is advertised as luxury properties and family-friendly; however, It was very crowded with young spring breakers and not family-friendly whatsoever. Security did not do a good job at keeping out kids who were not staying on property, and we experienced several instances of groups of kids smoking marijuana out in the open in the walkways and near the elevators. We addressed these concerns with Vacasa as well as Laketown Wharf security, and both places weren’t overly concerned and offered no solution. The area of beach allotted to Laketown Wharf was rowdy and full of young spring breakers. Our last day there, there was a beach fight where the police were called to shut down the road to resolve the nonsense. We have stayed in this complex before and never had these same concerns. Maybe it is now under new management? To salvage our beach vacation, we drove to Mexico Beach two days and Miramar the other two. Both areas are very family-friendly and a great retreat away from the nonsense where we stayed. If this condo complex is going to cater to party goers, they need to advertise as such.
