The location was perfect for our needs. We were able to walk to downtown where there are plenty of restaurants and the was a street fair and cute shops. The house itself needs help. It is not well equipped. There was one role of toilet paper for 4 girls and a half a role of paper towel. There are no wine glasses and the rest of the glasses look like people absconded them from local restaurants. There was no dish soup to wash dishes. The second bathroom is an out house. It is outside of the kitchen and not heated. It was freezing. The bathroom upstairs has most of the lights out and the ceiling fan is growing who knows what. The heating system is a challenge. It was super cold when we arrived and took forever to warm and then we roasted overnight. There is one full length mirror on one of the bedrooms. The the other two don’t have a mirror at all so you are forced to wait your turn for the one bathroom with little lighting. Also there are no televisions in the bedrooms. It snowed the first day we were there so we spent the day walking downtown and it was beautiful! When we returned our clothing was wet and there are no hooks, no closet and not one place to hang our clothing so we were forced to pile it in the living room. The front steps are very slippery so be careful! Would I stay here again? No. the impression left is that this house is for money making. No personal touch at all.
Manager response:
We strive to provide an exemplary guest experience and hate to see we missed the mark with your reservation, Dawn. Local staff was happy to bring you more toilet paper and paper towels, and your other comments are being taken under consideration. Thank you!

The house was spotless on arrival. Nice neighborhood, manicured lawns, lots of community pride.

Great house in a beautiful old Seattle neighborhood. Close driving to downtown and all the sites plus an easy walk to restaurants, Trader Joe's. The house was well stocked and very comfortable for our group of five friends. Thank you!

Beautiful home, very clean and a sweet neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful old house. We arrived after our family of 5 had spent a week in small hotel rooms, and it was so nice to spread out and have room to relax. It was lovely to walk all over the Queen Anne neighborhood, including to the main shopping street a few blocks away and Kerry Park for gorgeous views of the city. Everything we wanted to visit was just a short drive away.

The reason for a four-star instead of a five-star review was a few security issues. The locks on both the front and back doors are simple push-and-twist doorknobs. It was tricky to get the front door to latch, and at least twice we thought it was closed and it blew open unexpectedly. Although the neighborhood seemed very safe, I would have felt better with a deadbolt. Also, it was hot enough that we needed to sleep with the windows upstairs open, and there were no screens on the windows. That was only an issue for bugs and flies for us, but if I had very young children, it would have been a safety concern as well.
Manager response:
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to hear your feedback about your time with us, Jennifer! We appreciate you bringing this to our attention so that we can take appropriate measures to implement improvements. Rest assured that we will follow up with our local team regarding your feedback. Please know that our Guest Services team is available 24 hours a day to assist should any questions or concerns arise prior to arrival or during your stay. Thanks for staying with us, we look forward to hosting you again!

Well maintained home with tasteful decor in a quiet historical neighborhood. It was an easy walk to Queen Anne businesses and a quick drive to everywhere in downtown Seattle. We enjoyed our stay. Parking on the opposite side of the street was not a problem.

Our stay on Queen Anne Hill @2004 was very relaxing. With 4 adults we had plenty of room and privacy. It was well supplied with towels, sheets, cleaning supplies and other extras.
A quintessential experience!!

Our party of four adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this roomy, tasteful, well-equipped home. The location was great: a two block walk to stores and restaurants and plenty of on street parking.
