Recent Pigeon Forge vacation rental reviews

We loved the view from the deck and from the loft bedroom. We also enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub!

This cabin was perfect for us. Once we found it in the winding roads of the Sherwood Forest resort, at the end of a very steep driveway, we were impressed by the cleanliness inside. Everyone has their own standard of cleanliness, but for us this cabin was cleaner than many hotels that we’ve stayed at (Hampton Inn’s). The view is exactly like it is pictured in the description – the Smokies are right there. It’s beautiful. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. There is another cabin next to this one, but everything is very private. This was our first trip to Pigeon Forge and we were amazed at how close the cabin is to the main attractions. It really is perfectly situated. The road from the resort practically T’s right into the Dixie Stampede parking lot. The Old Mill Restaurant is just a block or so down from there, and Dollywood and all the rest of Pigeon Forge is all right there. Gatlinburg is a very short (scenic) drive in the opposite direction. We had a wonderful time, and this cabin was the center of our whole trip. If you’re undecided, trust me – book this cabin, you won’t regret it.

We could see both sunrises and sunsets from this cabin's deck. The king size bed in the loft was comfortable and we both slept well. We use the hot tub which was wonderfully relaxing. The kitchen faucet was broken but they had it fixed within an hour of us calling. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely book this cabin again and recommend it to friends. The couch could have been more comfortable but we understand that not every piece of furniture is brand new.

Where are our Pigeon Forge vacation rentals?

Located in eastern Tennessee, this mountain resort city is just three-and-a-half hours from the bustling country music hub of Nashville and two-and-a-half from charming, outdoorsy Chattanooga. Neighboring towns Gatlinburg and Sevierville are full of history and Appalachian charm. And, of course, the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only minutes away from our Pigeon Forge vacation rentals. With a location like this, our cabin rentals in Pigeon Forge are the perfect addition to a Tennessee road trip or family vacation.

Things to do in Great Smoky Mountains National Park

First and foremost: the outdoors are calling. Abundant rainfall and many different elevation levels make for a fascinating display of flora and fauna in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You’ll have your pick of trails to hike, rivers and lakes to fish, float, or kayak, and roadside overlooks for easy mountain vistas.

From April through November you can drive about an hour from your vacation rental to Clingmans Dome for a unique way to see these breathtaking views. A very steep, spiraled walkway rises from the trees to meet an observation tower for 360-degree panoramas. Or you can drive the 11-mile loop at Cades Cove, passing lush meadows and historic, rustic buildings that are just perfect for photographing.

The trailhead to Laurel Falls is about 20 minutes from our cabins and a popular spot for families to hike. At two-and-a-half miles out and back, it’s not too strenuous and offers beautiful scenery and cascading waterfalls. There are near-endless ways to get outside and explore, so don’t miss out. And if you book a cabin in Pigeon Forge with a hot tub, you can soak your tired legs after an exciting day outside.
