Modern dog-friendly studio with beachside views & only steps to the beach!
Take in the rugged shoreline and oceanfront views from this studio-style Oceanside vacation rental. Beachfront access, an outdoor deck with sweeping views of the North Oregon Coast, and room for up to two lucky guests and two dogs (for a small nightly fee) are some of the great features of this rental.
The studio is located in the charming Oceanside Inn, which is an oceanfront complex - simply walk to the shared deck then down a flight of stairs to reach the sand. Take a short walk to Blue Agate Cafe for a morning latte, then return home to relax with a good book on the deck. In the evening, head up Pacific Avenue and get dinner at Roseanna's Cafe, the other eatery in town. Tillamook, with its world-famous cheese factory and dairy farms, is just nine miles away and will be a fun daytime trip for both kids and adults.
This small but cozy home exudes a charming coastal character with beautiful hardwood floors, paneled walls, muted tones, and weathered furniture. A large picture window looks out onto the deck, which is accessible through the studio’s entrance. Watch a stunning summertime sunset from this deck while enjoying a fine glass of Oregon Pinot Noir and the company of a loved one.
Back inside you’ll find a well-stocked kitchen attached to the bedroom portion of the studio. If you’re hungry, feel free to use the kitchen’s stainless steel appliances - a stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator - to quickly prepare a fantastic meal!
After that meal is ready, sit down at the adjacent table with seating for two and reminisce about a day spent exploring tide pools on the miles of wild coastline just beyond your doors.
After dinner, put in a DVD or catch up with your favorite TV show on the cable-equipped flatscreen television, which sits above a lovely, aged dresser. Fall into a restful slumber in the cushy king-size bed, which sleeps two, and awake in the morning to the sound of waves outside your windows and the smell of salty brine in the air.
WiFi is provided, so go ahead and surf the web to make plans for day trips, dining, or local shopping while you’re here. There's also a shared laundry room, plus comfort extras including air conditioning and heated bathroom floors! Electric vehicle drivers, don't fear - we've installed three charging stations (two for Teslas and one for other types) to keep you battery fully charged and ready for adventure.
This relaxing vacation rental is also located along the breathtaking Three Capes Scenic Drive, which you can follow up to Cape Meares Lighthouse. The Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge is viewable from this home, as are nesting areas for native gulls and terns on the huge rocks offshore. Other popular daytime activities include clamming in Netarts Bay or hiking on trails in the picturesque Cape Lookout State Park - both of which are within 10 miles of this rental.
Whether you’ve come for a quiet weekend or a getaway filled with coastal activities, this Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental is the perfect home base for fun and relaxation on the Oregon Coast!
* Please be aware that while cell phone reception is decent two miles south in Netarts, it tends to be spotty here in Oceanside. This property does, however, have a Verizon signal booster to help out. For your convenience, there is an outside phone available under the carport with free long distance if needed.
Fantastic room. Cozy. Beautiful. And Best. Bed. Ever. Will definitely be back!
Very clean and well maintained. Had a great view of the unseasonal presence of whales. We lacked nothing.
We enjoyed our stay here so much! The location was perfect; we enjoyed a day exploring in Tillamook and had a short drive back to the condo. Our favorite part of staying here was the community deck the overlooks the ocean. It was perfect to watch the sunset from! The room was clean and beautiful and we had no complaints! If we are ever back in this area we will certainly be staying here again.
The place was clean and comfortable. It was just as advertised. Perfect location for driving up and down the coast on highway 101. Enjoyed walking on the beach and see the ocean from our room
Great location and great space! Clean, had everything we needed and the view was SPECTACULAR
The unit was decorated so cute. We felt right at home as soon as we opened the door. Perfect for our anniversary trip. Very clean. And the bed was so comfortable! Best night sleep ever. It was hard to leave at end of our stay. The code access was convenient and made for quick check in. Let's talk about the view. Breathtaking. From the room as well as from the Inn's deck. Next time we stay more than 2 nights.
This little apartment was great- direct access to the beach as well as dedicated and street parking. The dedicated parking spot was too tight for us to park in so we used the ample street parking. The space itself was great- clean, well furnished, homey, and the kitchen and bathroom were modern with little touches like extra towels and soap. Wish we could stay here longer and take advantage of waking up next to the beach!
We loved our stay on the beach! The room was well put together and the bed was wonderful!
Oceanside Inn is the perfect location for the northern Oregon coast. We had a beautiful view of Three Arches Rocks, private access to the beach, and beautiful sunsets. In addition, Zeolite #9 was clean, well-stocked and quiet. We look forward to returning!
Our stay was so refreshing. Everything you needed was there and easy to find. We loved our stay and will be back.
This was our first time in Oceanside and it will not be our last! What a treat and such a nice way to slow down and just appreciate all the beauty that’s around. We really liked the way the place was decorated and it just felt very homey to us . Thank you!!❤️
Be sure to take a screenshot of the email cause there is no cell service!
This was the best vacation home we have ever had! The pictures online looked great, but far exceeded our expectations. The view was breath taking and the room was beautiful! We would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone!
The room is great and the location on the beach is perfect but we had a terrible experience. First off, the parking is terrible! There is not even enough space for one car per room, so unless you arrive early, prepare to park on the street. Second, there is no staff on site. We had some very loud guests next door and it took almost an hour to get a call back from the phone number on our reservation. They never did quiet down so I am not sure if the person on the other end of the phone even did anything. It was well after 1 am that I heard the last drunk teenager stumble to bed. The quiet time requirement is a joke if there is no one there to enforce it. I regret not calling the police about them; very drunk, ridiculously loud, screaming/singing in the parking lot, reeked of marijuana, made a complete mess of the area, at least 3x the people allotted for that room, and doubtful that even a few were over 21. I specifically booked this location because of the ocean view but because of the noise and smell of smoke we had to close the window and lose the sound of the waves that we paid extra for. I understand that the guests are not the fault of the management but with no on site staff and someone on the other end of a phone with no actual power, you are at the mercy of the random people next door. If I book through a rental place like this again, I will only select individual houses or places with on site management.
We are incredibly sorry to see this guest was dealing with such disrespectful neighbors. We did contact these guests and ask them to be quiet, but we did not realize the problem continued. Guests are always welcome to contact us, or police, if necessary, for assistance with guests that are being disrespectful of quiet hours. Thank you!
Very nice Inn in a very quiet little town. Choose this if you want a quiet spot to wander, or just sit and watch the waves. Only two restaurants in town, Rosannas is great, but check to make sure they are open during your stay. Stop in Tillamook for groceries before heading to Oceanside.
Boat Basin #1 and Chinook #8 have the best views,. The parking lot is tiny, and the phone reception non-existent unless you have Verizon. However, free wifi is offered.
sweet room, nice view
comfy bed, everything clean and new and especially loved the bathroom fixtures
you need to install a light by dining table
The room was ideal in every way. All one could need is provided. Cosy furnishings, lovely fixtures and fittings, very homey. Fabulous sunset views, and great to hear the comforting sound of the ocean. Very comfy bed, which is important to me. I'll certainly be staying here again -- so much more to explore! Thank you so much to the entire Vacasa team.
Would definitely stay here again
Awesome location right on the beach with all the kitchen necessities for cooking meals. The whole room feels very new with nice furniture and appliances.
I can't recommend this place enough. It was a great experience and I will be coming back again!
We really enjoyed our few days in Oceanside. The room was great for me and my husband, really appreciated the kitchen amenities. If you need to grab groceries for your stay, get them in Tillamook. It's bigger than I expected and the cheese factory is a nice tourist visit.
Also, don't miss Lex's Cool Stuff in Netarts. Stop by and chat with Lexie, who is a wonderful character, and you're bound to find some treasure in her crazy, eclectic store. Make sure you have one of her free brownie bites. They are fresh and delicious and Lexie, who measures her day in brownies is worth meeting.!
This is a very nice accommodation with fantastic beach views and access.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Oceanside Inn location and this property. Highly recommended. But be aware that Zeolite #9 and several other units are on the second floor, no elevator, 18 steps. At least the railings are good.
Great little unit in Oceanside. Beach getaway with great deck and views. Not fancy - but walk next door to restaurants and go down the stairs to on-site beach access. The tunnel through the cliff leads to an agate beach - very dramatic and cool! Disconnected from the 101 and in a good way! Escape!
View from upstairs balcony very good. Communal deck to read but often a lot to f other people there too, drinking and eating.
Stairs down to beach very steep and the first part is metal...our dog didn't want to go down them.
Units are very small, thin walls.
Thin walls and spotty wifi
This stay was the final stop on a 4 city road trip. Culminating in an engagement proposal at Cape Meares lighthouse look out. The condo had a very "beachy" feel and was perfect for our purposes. The deck walks out directly to the beach and is close to several shops in town. We will remember Oceanside and this vacation rental for a very long time.
Great place and location.
great studio with a full kitchen. Clean simple comfortable. great views. Just lovely.
This is our first time to Oceanside and I suspect it won't be our last. When we checked in the woman next door said 'welcome' and then told me she's 55 and has been coming her since she was 4! Wow. Our room had a great view, was clean and cozy and well equipped for our stay. The Oregon coast is stunning and when you drove down the hill towards Oceanside the kind of beauty you hope to experience is right in front of you. Guess you can tell I'm a fan. We'll be back.
We stayed here on a stormy quiet weekend. It was very quaint, tiny, well maintained and clean. There was only one restaurant in town and it happened to be closed. Be sure to bring your own food and groceries. We'd like to stay again and try another ocean front unit.
My husband and I have been coming to Oceanside for the past ten years and it is one of our favourite places on the planet! This past weekend was the first time we had stayed at the Oceanside Inn since the renovations and new ownership and we were very impressed with the changes. The location/proximity and easy access to the beach couldn't be better and the Zeolite #9 unit we stayed in was charming, cozy and very clean with great views! We will definitely stay here again!
I have stayed here twice and I LOVE IT!!! However, I can't get over the room lock codes not getting changed out. I feel that this is a HUGE safety issue. I spoke personally with Tom (manager) about this. I hope that my concerns are being heard and the problem has been rectified. If the locks are changed, I would certainly stay in the facilities again - and would recommend this property to EVERYONE. Without the locks being changed - everyone who has EVER stayed in this room has complete access to the room I am staying in. (This goes for every room within this complex - the door lock codes do not, nor have ever been, changed!) This is so VERY dangerous!! I will be planning my next trip in a few months - I would love to book with you again, but need some confirmation that this has been addressed. I don't normally write reviews - but I feel in my heart that some accountability for the safety of Vacasa guests has to be addressed - sometimes a social platform can help move this process along. If the locks don't get changed, I believe that this practice should be reported to some governing agency for hotel/motel safety.
We appreciate that this guest gave us honest feedback regarding the safety factors related to her stay. The property manager spoke to her personally and assured that the codes have been refreshed and a consistent schedule has been created for updating all codes. Thank you.
Room is in a converted motel setting. Rooms surround parking lot and voices amplify in courtyard. Walls thin.
Very nicely appointed room and furnishings.
This space was perfect for two humans and a small dog looking to unplug. The interior was fully updated and perfectly clean. The beach access was a breeze and the tiny town was nice and quiet. I highly recommend this property and location.
Very clean, great bathtub, well equipped kitchen, beautiful view.
What a truly relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Absolutely loved having such beautiful surroundings. Kept the window open to hear the ocean when we weren't out on the beach or enjoying the balcony views. It was a quick drive to everything that we came to the Coast to for and even found a cafe (Blue Agate Cafe) within walking distance that we loved. Had a light bulb go out on our first night but the local manager, Tom, quickly delivered a new one for us. Everything was wonderful and we only wished that we had more time to spend there!
This is a gem to stay at! Beautiful setting and rooms. Super clean rooms with new, beautiful amenities! It's our favorite place to stay when we come to Oceanside!
I was looking for a quiet cottage by the sea and that is exactly what I got. The room was clean and well decorated and the view was amazing. It helped that I visited in the winter - it was so quiet and I loved how secluded I felt. My only advice - beware of parking, it could be a bear if the units are full, and bring basic cooking supplies (the only spices were salt and pepper and there was no cooking oil). There are some cute restaurants in walking distance, but if you forget any food items its a drive to get to the nearest store. I plan on coming back. It was one of my best Oregon beach experiences. However, if you are looking for the touristy-feel of Cannon Beach or Seaside, you will be sorely disappointed. No shopping or salt-water taffy here.
What a great retreat. We wanted a quick trip to the coast, but didn't want the noise of more well-known coastal stops. Oceanside was -- literally -- a breath of fresh air. We pulled in fairly late, and since the only three places to eat in Oceanside close early, we drove up the road to The Schooner Inn and then came back to the motel and sat on the deck with a blanket around us and just listened to the waves under the night sky. Though we were there only briefly, we spent a good deal of time scheming about how we might be able to rent out the whole motel and make a full 3-4 days out of it with family and friends. The room was clean and aesthetically pleasing, the kitchen had what we needed should we have had the time to use it, and the beach access was just perfect. I'm hesitant to tell anyone though because I don't want Oceanside to become another tourist trap with all the billboards and advertisements and shops with kitschy "gifts". So let's just keep this between us, okay? :)
Love this place!!!! Super cute room and beautiful area!!
Steps down to a great beach are right at your doorstep. The units each have differences, so look for what suits you best. Oceanside Inn is well located, clean dependable for the do-it-yourself vacation and close to the local coffee shop, and restaurants. Expect some eateries to close or reduce hours in the off season.
Perfect for a romantic getaway
This is by far the best beach on the Oregon coast and this place made a perfect spot to stay.
It was so nice to have everything within walking distance. Beautiful view, beach is nice, couldn't ask for better location.
Please refer to the remarks under suggestions. Instruction packet needs improvement re door lock and TV operation. Also better understanding of the location (upstairs) for unit 9. Minor, fixable issues, in comparison to the overall positives of this accommodation.
I loved this spot on the Oregon coast--it's beautiful! The room is lovely with its simple beachy furnishings, and feels so restful and relaxing. The parking is a little tight, but once you're in your space, all you'll want to do is jump out of the car, go out on the deck, and enjoy the spectacular view!!! I will definitely come back--I loved having a kitchen and being right on the beach--it's just such a wonderful place to stay!!!
Very quiet with a fabulous view!
A great overall experience. The location was fantastic, and beach access down a flight of stairs. A small issue with the kitchen linens not being clean and a strong cleaner smell that made us feel a little ill when we first got there. The bed was comfortable and overall it was a great value. I will be coming back to Oceanside in the future.
The room was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It was great to be able to just walk down to the beach at any given time, and also relax on the private deck. Sleeping with the window open and hearing the ocean all night was priceless!
Oceanside is quiet little town, but we enjoyed the laid back pace and being off the main tourist route.
The weather was colder than we anticipated for August, you definitely need a few layers and a wind breaker.
The view and communal deck are nice, we enjoyed the beach access.#9 is a great room for two, cozy but the kitchen gives you options for food.
We had a great time.
Overall amazing place to stay at. Everything was very nice. The room was cute and furnished well. I also was happy at the amount of pans that were provided. A nice area with direct beach access. I appreciated the fact that the property was pet friendly as well as the surrounding area. Visit the Tillamook cheese factory as well. We had an issue with the plumbing that was an inconvenience but probably not a normal problem.
The location is fantastic. Views are better from some units than others.
Best experience in Oregon!
We had a great two day stay in the Zeolite (room 9). The location upstairs on the end provides privacy and a great view of the ocean. A really comfortable king size bed. The full size refrigerator/freezer provides plenty of room to stash all the groceries and beverages you need! We definitely look forward to another stay!
We stayed in zeolite #9, loved everything about it. This area is secluded from the tourist areas, so you have beaches and views to yourself. There is a grocery store a couple of miles away but no restaurant for breakfast, which was fine by me. Roseannes had lunch and dinner
Clean, great view, great food. Overall great quiet place to visit.
Loved the studio! Nice view and easy access to beach with a shared deck that was perfect for lounging. Nicely furnished and clean. Oceanside was beautiful and friendly. Roseanne's Restaurant is just down the the street and does not disappoint! Can't wait to return. Very satisfied with our stay.
We were so pleasantly surprised with how easy and nice the entire Vacasa experience was, the hotel is perfectly situated so you can walk to the beach both of the restaurants in town. The shared deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and see people on the beach start up their bonfires. The keyless entry system is brilliant, the whole thing was so fluid and simple we will definitely be back again!
Will definitely be staying here again : )
Amazing sunset views from the upper deck at this property. Included is a little table and bench outside of your room to enjoy dinner or drinks. Rooms is perfect for a single person or a couple. We love the decor and cozy feeling this room has. Its nice because its at the end of the deck upstairs and you wont have people walking in front of your window. :-) Only complain was Wifi was a bit spotty at best up there. Overall we would recommend this room.
We really enjoyed the stay.It was very comfortable and had great access to the beach. The late check out option was an A+++++.I would love to stay again sometime.
We enjoyed our vacation and had lots of things to do all around us. We made all of our meals in the room and enjoyed the ocean and beach very much. Lots of area to explore on the beach. Although Oceanside doesn't have much there is more then enough things to do within 10-20 minutes. #9 Room was clean and and had a great spot in the complex, but no jetted tub like the description said. For 2 people it was perfect though :)
We had the relaxing weekend we were hoping for. The studio was just like the pictures and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay to get away from it all.
Oceanside is a very sleepy, quite town. The beach is a bit rocky and the tide definitely needs to be paid attention to - when it comes in there is very little beach left to walk on. But if you're in the mood for a cozy and quiet trip, this vacation rental is unexpectedly nice. Someone took great care to choose nice furnishings and decor. Our unit wasn't cleaned with as much TLC as I would have expected especially given the cleaning fee charged. The deck, albeit shared with the other units - not private, was a fantastic area to take in the view.
We were surprised to find that this was actually a motel room not a separate cabin. From the pictures it looks like those are separate units. The nice deck on the picture is shared by the 10 other units. People were coming and going from the motel all night and our dog was barking a lot because you could hear doors banging next door. We did not find it restful. Also the view was largely of a parking lot, set back in a row or rooms, not as it is represented in the photos. We tried to have it changed once we realized what was going on, but after several calls to management- we ended up with nothing. Also the room was way too small to spend 3 days in.
If you are looking for an overnight motel room - it's perfect - it is clean and modern inside, very nice. Not so good for a romantic vacation or if you are looking for some privacy.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We are sorry to see that you displeased with your experience at The Oceanside Inn. It is a wonderful place to stay as it has recently been remodeled and gives you fantastic beach access!
We loved our stay in Oceanside! The room was perfect, beautiful, clean, roomy, etc. The king size bed was magical and the views out of the window couldn't be much better. We enjoyed the deck with the full panoramic views and the ability to go down the stairs straight to the beach. We loved the little town and enjoyed eating at Roseanna's.
Had a great week in Oceanside. If you are looking to get away from it all and just relax this is the place. Beach, views, location, and quality of facility top notch. Beach much better than Cannon beach. Came out to visit the coast of Oregon from Ann Arbor, Michigan and was not disappointed in unit number 9. Perfect for two people who spent little time in the room. We used Oceanside as a home base and ventured up and down the coast to different beaches and hiked on many trails. Saddle Mountain and Ecola state park trails what a treat. We will be back.
Thanks for sharing your review! Using a vacation rental as a home base to explore the area is a fantastic idea. You definitely picked a great home to use as well. Thanks again for choosing Vacasa.
My 9 year old daughter and I stayed for one night and loved our room and had such fun on the beach. It was so nice to be able to cook our own meals! Great place to stay!
This was a quiet little town that is great for just relaxing. The room was perfect for two, and the convenience of staying here defiantly will bring me back... it was an instant community with everyone having fun hanging out on the balcony or on the sun deck.... I definitely reccommend staying here.
The views here were amazing and the unit had just about anything a person could need to be self-sustaining. A couple of things to mention: Unit #9 is downstairs -- it was a bit tricky to find until we saw the 9 on one of the posts in the parking lot. This information would have saved us a lot of stress upon our arrival. Also, if you are cooking, make sure to bring your own can opener, as there was none in the unit. Everything else was perfect! The unit was clean, the views were beyond amazing, and we had a wonderful time!
Thank you for the feedback, the driving directions have been updated!
This was one of the nicest vacations we have had in a while. The view is fabulous and even if every room doesn't have a view, there is a large community deck where folks gather to visit, share food, music, etc. Great set up!
We had a lovely time here. The place is RIGHT on the beach, and this is our favorite beach, so it really could hardly have been better. Roseanna's is a great restaurant and the rooms were clean and pleasant with great views. Two thumbs up! No internet access, but frankly that was a relief.
A living room over the beach. THAT is what this place is all about. It's a compact unit with a killer view. BYO movies and games. 80s decor throughout but it all works and is fine for the price. The sauna tub is to die for too. Be sure to open the windows at night to listen to the waves as you look onto the waves from the couch.
Thank you for this review. Yes, the view is spectacular from this Inn! So glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again.
