Offering a lovely location in the highly desirable neighborhood of Lower Queen Anne, this airy, light-filled home will place the very best of Seattle within walking distance. So named for its close proximity to Seattle's most famous landmark half a mile south, the house even boasts a hidden view of the Space Needle from a secret spot upstairs - if you're clever enough to find it, that is.
The interior is cheerful, stylish, and charming, with plentiful windows that let in the light even when the rain clouds move in. Come home from your daily explorations to put up your feet as you watch TV in the living room, get started on a homemade meal in the full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and sit down to eat at the farm-style table in the adjacent dining room. You'll also have a beautiful, tree-lined deck off the kitchen where you can sip your morning coffee as the sun comes up over the Space Needle.
There are three bedrooms to choose from, one with a king-size bed and two with a queen-size bed apiece. (Please note that one of the queen bedrooms - the one with the laundry closet - is separated from the king bedroom by sliding pocket doors.) There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination on each of the two levels.
Hilltop Queen Anne is known as one of the most charming neighborhoods in Seattle; here on the downslope of the hill, you'll enjoy closer proximity to downtown and Belltown than the rest of the neighborhood. You'll be within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and Seattle's best skyline view at Kerry Park (half a mile northwest). The Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and the Seattle Center are half a mile south as well, with Belltown, downtown, and such famous spots as Pike Place Market (a mile and a half south) just beyond.
